Here we go everyone - a place for the recent MCers to chat and share all our NOT waiting stories!

Hi when and munch. Really sorry to hear about your mc?s and the experiences you?ve had. I think any type of mc is difficult to get over.

Sorry been a bit quiet last couple of days, first week back at work properly and I feel physically and emotionally drained at the moment. Work have been really good about it. I brought in some chocs for my colleague who has picked up my work and also my line manager for being so good and understanding about everything.

Jessie hope you?re doing ok. Good luck with the trial.

Almond hope you?re doing ok after the phone call. You?d think their communication between GP/consultant/EPU would be a lot better than that!

kittykatsforever · 21/08/2012 20:13

Hi girls
Yes almond that sucks, I don't think they relay messages around, I had to phone and cancel my mw app first time which was early which was why I waited this time and glad! I don't think I'd do it until about 8 wks of I'm lucky enough to get pg again.
Jessie your mc are very similar dates to mine, 7/8 first then 5 this time, I had one af between them though, do wonder if this last one went wrong because of late ov and therefore maybe late lf? Aparently a realky high proportion of mc happen if it is shorter then 10 days?!
I guess I shouldn't think about it really as I'll never know for def,
Bleeding alot heavier today so maybe this will get things moving now fx
I want a bfn, how many people on the conception page have said that do you thinkHmm

Almond301 · 21/08/2012 21:21

Thanks for the support. I feel a bit better about it today mainly because of a major incident at work which distratcted me for 5 hours! Bascially I work in a big shopping centre and we had a bomb scare and the whole place had to be evacuated. Talk about an adrenaline rush. All ok now luckily!

Kitty I think you are right and I wont make any appointments until I am about 8 weeks just to be on the safe side. I dont know about any of you but I dont think I will relax at all if I get pg again!! Such a shame as I was so naive to all of this until my MC.

Lol still testing Sat? Hows your busy week going so far?

Vix hope work isnt too bad. I felt exactly the same after going back and it took me a week to feel 'normal' there. Everything seemed so trivial at first and I found it hard dealing with the 'are you feeling better' questions as not many people knew. It does get easier though!

My cramps have gone now and I feel completely not pg. I reckon it was ovulation or PMT. Wish it would hurry up either bloody way. I am the most impatient person in the world!!

I am losing track with where everyone is. Shall we do a summary thing? I have seen these on other threads and they were something like this:

Almond - 31 yrs, TTC 1st baby, 1 MC, CD24, POAS 25/08 (because I cant hold out longer). Thought I would add something interesting in like my favourite thing to do is - running in the woods with my black lab, Finn. Anyone else up for sharing this? Did I miss anything?

Lolcbcb · 21/08/2012 22:11

Hi girls
Af got me today Sad
Feel strangely relieved my body is back to normal and I can try again this month. Think shag time will be around DH birthday which is a good excuse!
Almond hope af doesn't get u! Fx

Almond301 · 22/08/2012 13:36

Lol sorry to hear that but yes at least you know you are back to normal. Although I obviously would love a BFP I would also be relieved with AF as I just want the WTF cycle over with! What CD did your AF arrive on then?

Lolcbcb · 22/08/2012 13:45

CD34. My cycles are usually 31 anyway. So 3 days late. Not as bad as it could haw been.
And will hopefully ov around DH birthday. Grin

kittykatsforever · 22/08/2012 13:47

Sorry lol Sad it is one of those where you'd rather have a bfp but at the same time part of you knows it is very soon after and may not be such a good thing x

babyjames · 22/08/2012 13:58

Hi,
Can't remember if I asked to join you or not. Have read back through the thread and can't see that I did?! Been a mixed up few days. Began to MC last Friday and still bleeding now. Had scan yesterday and showed nothing in womb and just waiting for bloods back today to see that hormones dropping. I have been given no information from hospital and fairly poor NHS service i feel. Thank goodness for Mumsnet and sites like the Miscarriage association. We really want to try again as soon as possible. Not sure when to start my cycle from now though?
babyjames 32, ttc#2, 1mc, CD? Loves my DS /DH, Zumba, wine and chocolate

kittykatsforever · 22/08/2012 15:02

Hi babyjames, I have seen some of your posts on the mc page, really sorry for you Sad you were on the April thread with me, most people start the day of heaviest bleeding as cd1 but I think it's pointless trying to second guess this one, expect everything to be abit out and maybe add a few days to usual cycle length, I have no idea where to begin, bleeding been very heavy for the last 2 days but has been heavy before and this is wk3 Sad only 1/12 since levels started dropping though

Carikube · 22/08/2012 15:16

Sorry lol though at least you are back to some sort of normal. And hello babyjames.

Just a quick post to put my stuff...
carikube, 39, ttc#3, 1mc, CD3, which would mean POAS in about 4 weeks but that means dtd before then which is unlikely at the rate we're going, loves lots of lthings but would love most of all to have 8hrs uninterrupted sleep atm...ah bliss!

babyjames · 22/08/2012 15:27

Thanks for your welcomes and kind words. I do remember you KittyKats. 3 weeks is a long time to bleed! I'm shattered and only been since Friday. Getting me really light headed.
Just looked through my friends pics on facebook and 2 big pregnant bumps :( not what I wanted to see today! I had to phone and cancel my first midwife appointment which was this afternoon. The receptionist said "do you want to re-book?" "No thanks I've lost the baby"!
Sorry to Lol that AF got you. Thanks Anyone fancy joining me for Wine

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 22/08/2012 15:52

Hi babyjames would love to join you with the Wine but I had a huge g&t last night then dd (18 months) decided to cry between 3am & 6am. Not sure if I am hung over or just shattered (thinks its shattered).

Sorry about af lol

Hi cari I love sleep too but don't get much of it.

WhenSheWas cycle 5, 3 chem pregs. Going for blood tests next Friday.

jessiethecowgirl · 22/08/2012 16:34

Sorry lol about AF but I bet you're relieved now to start a fresh new cycle

Babyjames am so sorry about mc. I remember you from April Thread. This is a really sucky time. I'm currently bleeding now from 2nd MC, but I remember with my last mc last month that once I stopped bleeding I felt a million times better, so you will feel better soon I promise! I start my cycle from first day of heavy bleeding/clots, and last cycle when I did this, I ov'd roughly just a few days later then my normal CD14.

Will definitely join you on the Wine
