Hi all esp Jessie and BabyJames who I both remember from the April thread. So sorry to hear about your mcs. Since then I've had two, just can't seem to get past 6 weeks... So it's been a great year for conception but not so great for pregnancy! If it's any consolation because both were early I was back on track with my cycle and after early mc in may conceived again the next cycle... So it's all possible.

As I've had 3 mcs my dr has referred me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic which is great so I'll report back after my visit in Sept. Although I'm not looking for ivf she told me I was way too old to get it on the nhs (age 34 cut off point Iain Oxford) and that I was too fat! Another visit to the doctors that left me feeling all warm and fuzzy!!

I'm now on cycle day 7 so am going to have to dtd with dp all weekend even though he is making me crazy (moving house, it makes for some pretty big rows!) but I shall persevere, grin and bear it! The things we do for a BFp!!

Oops my details. 42 (old eggs!), ttc %232, 1st pg at 37. 3mcs at 8, 6 and 5 1/2 wks.

Argh. Ttc number 2. Have a six year old so desperate for a sibling I think she's gonna be a preteen mom just to get a baby!!

Well today being cd1 I have been well naughty. Started day with a donut and had two whole chocolate bars!
Will have a few drinks at the weekend before going bank to being baby healthy again!

Sorry suzy to hear about the recurrent mcs. Will be interested to hear how your appointment goes next month. Lets just hope that the recurrent mcs are simply down to bad luck and next preg will be a sticky one!

Love the list :) As I'm still bleeding from MC I thought may as well have all the wine , chocolate and whatever I want! I usually have long cycles too of around 33 days so going to be a bit of a wait to OV again!

I joined you all in a beverage last night, although being a northerner my choice will always be dirty beer
Baby (I was going to abbreviate to bj then and realised just how wrong that was!) I'm still bleeding too and cycle after mc last time was 32 days aswell, I'm usually abit less however my last one I didn't get a bfp til cd38 and that was the faintest line, frer didn't get the digi + til cd41!! I'm really hoping I'm not going to have another of those!

So, little update from me. The WTF cycle continues to play cruel tricks on me. On Tues evening I had a brown smear when wiping after loo (Sorry TMI). Thought well AF is on its way. So 2 days later and still nothing. Been having the odd cramp but nothing consistent like AF. No other symptoms although I keep prodding my boobs to check?!. AF not officially due till Sun (if cycle correct) but was naughty and did a couple of tests. One was a def ng and the one I did to day had an 'imaginary' faint line. Basically I got distracted between doing it and looking (so prob over 10 mins). When I held it up to the light and moved it in the light I could just make out a line. TBH I think it is an evaporation line but need to 'confess' to u guys! Can't tell OH as he thinks I'm loosing my mind and I promised I wouldn't do any more tests till weekend!! No congrats yet...

Almond, your mad girl, I had the same last month with a cheepie where I could swear I'd seen a shadow but would never have shown it to anyone as they would have declared me mad, the next day I got a faint line on a frer, i know evaporation lines aparently exist but I've never had one and the smear sounds so much like implantation, it would take atleast 3/4 days after that to show up so I think your looking v promising!!! What test was it??
I don't want to build up hope but to me it sounds very positive!

I joined in with a drink of cider last night then promptly fell asleep on the sofa watching indiana jones! Just wondered if anyone else still feels really shattered after the mc? Mine was 3 weeks ago today but still feeling really tired (although the hoisin duck pizza that DH and I consumed for tea cos we couldn?t be @rsed cooking may have helped with last nights sleepiness!).

Thanks for the msg. Im really trying not to get my hopes up as it seems so unlikely...I didn't even know when I ovulated and we haven't DTD that consistently! I used a Superdrug early test. They are meant to be very sensitive. I've got some clear blue digital ones but didn't want to waste them. What do you reckon I should do? X

ooo almond how exciting!!! I would be SO tempted to do a cb digital now. And if you get BFN then at least the poas urge is out of your system and you can wait 48 or more hours til you'll be tempted again!

Jessie!!! I would wait 2 days then test again with fmu, if you can't wait to the digi but atleast wait til tomorrow, I waited 2 days after the frer test to do a digi, they are expensive to waste on a bfn just because you did it a couple of days early, I think they are 25 mlu as aposed to sd 10! It doubles every 2 days so that should give you a definate answer
Be quietly confident though and fx x

Do you mind me asking how many days your cycles are normally, how long it took you to stop bleeding and get neg test etc? It's just if I started when I was going to I'd allready be on cd11 and not got neg test or stoped bleeding yet so I may have to backtrack

Kitty ah thanks! Still learning the lingo! I has the coil for years and no periods but based on PMT yes still got that unluckily I reckon my cycles were 28-30 days long and I was pretty regular before that.

After MC I used CD1 as heaviest day of bleeding. Stopped bleeding CD7 and got ng pg test around CD15 (but was using v sensitive pg test so might have been a couple of days before if I used cheapies). Now on CD26. So not sure if it is even possible to be pg yet?!

What I would say though is that everyone seems to be different. Guess it depends on how far you were along (I was 6.5 weeks and my HCG had got up to 3,000). It felt like ages at the time but I've felt 'norm' (energy levels etc) for about a week now.

Hi ladies, sorry to those who have just mc and or are still bleeding in the wtf cycle. I can totally appreciate how crappy it is. But believe it will eventually stop!!! I have to laugh as hospital told me that bleeding should get less and less each day after erpc. What bullshit!!! I had very little bleeding until 5 days after and then it kicked in and took 7 weeks to go!!!

I'm still trying to get to know you all and it's hard on my phone so sorry for not name checking.

Don't feel bad for poas almond I'm another poasaholic so fx for you.

So my first AF after mc is now finally over two weeks later!! So please please don't leave me waiting months to ov!!! It's exactly a year now since coming off pill and having first AF. Stupidly thought I would be pg by now. I will defo be joining you ladies in some vino tomorrow night!!

I was about 5/6 wks and I think my levels only reached 1000 ish before droping possibly up to 2000 but no more so I think I should be getting a neg test within the wk!
Glad to know it doesn't seem to have pushed your cycle around too much, I really hope mines better this time
Munchin it's hard to believe that I have only had one proper af between mc in the last year and a half due to pregnancy then breast feeds pg, then mc one af pg, thenmc again so my body has been shunted around abit!
I hope after this one you get a regular 30ish dayer

can I ask if anyone is taking any vitamins other than folic acid whilst TTC?
I went to the GP the other day (for a separate reason) and she recommended I take a women's multi-vitamin, and I'm wondering if that may also help for TTC. I'm currently just taking the 400mg folic acid. I tried pregnacare once long ago but found the pills too big to swallow. Maybe I should think about trying that again...
