TTC after recent MC

I have one dd then have had 2 mc since both in the last 3 months, it's been a really hard time so I do know how you feel although I didn't go as late as you, my last pregnancy I bleed from day 1 thought it was an early loss and tested again to make sure it was neg however it fort stronger so I went to the epu and as such had bloods done every 2-4 days 5 times before it started to go wrong, I was up abd down all the time, up pos test down bleeding up levels rising down bleeding heavier etc, I was bleeding 4 weeks in total! This time I am pregnant again straight after last mc, not sure if that will make it worse or not?! Really feel like I've had my share of shit though!!! I know others have worse journeys but really I deserve to see a little bean this time!
I have an early scan in 10 days very nervous but want to know before I go on Holliday 4 days later

Yeah I could have one about then too I'm about 4 weeks 3 days now we must be very close! I also have on dd then two mc so were quite alike how old is your dd ? Mine is 3 she's not my man's pie has a different dad so makes me think me don't match both mc have been with my partner :-/ , goodluck for your scan hun wish I was brave enough but it I don't see a heartbeat and they want me back a week. Later I can't do that again I've seen enough of epu to last me a lifetime! X

I felt exactly like that after my 2nd mc( have had3 with ds in between). My epc and antenatal dept all share same waiting room and I hate it. After that mc ,going back to have bloods done and scans every couple of days,it put me clean off the place.but when I got offered appt at epc around 6 weeks during last mc, I refused twice. But i regret it now as I had a mmc at 13 weeks and this probably would have been discovered at an early scan. I went through terrible morning sickness right up and then when I finally mc needed transfusion. So I would definitely ask for an early scan if I managed to get BFP again.

Scared, I am just over 5 weeks, well I did a digi fri morning and it was 3+, not sure of dates, my dd is only 1, she took 18 months to conceive so we didn't want to hang around but that's not been a problem since she was born, I think the epu will shake their heads in disbelief when they see me again I havnt even had a month off seeing them but hopefully it won't be the same outcome, I did have very mild brown spotting with dd too at 10 weeks so I saw her for the first time there so it's not all tainted negatively for me!
Pink, I'm a rip the band aid off kind of girl, if it's gone wrong I'd want to know earlier as not going wouldn't stop me worrying so to find out I'd had weeks of unnecessary grief would anoy me more then the pain

I had bleeding with my dd and a scan at 6 weeks she's nearly 4 now so I know it can be good too just so soon after the last one and going to the epu constantly I even missed my last appts after my d&c coz I couldn't face going there again I know your right pink and should do so maybe things that need to be spotted can be well I got nearly 2 weeks till they would do one anyway to think about it and probablm change my midd a hundred times as I only got my bfp yest so its still omg territory at the moment as me weren't going to try again until next year after our wedding we didn't wanna go through this all so soon I don't feel strong enough but its happened slap on the wrist for us we can only hope its a sticky one :-/ xx

The fear of having another mc almost puts me off ttc altogether so I feel your pain ladies.
All we can do it take one day at a time and pray its a good one.

Yeah I. Put me off for ages lol just got back into and wam his super swimmers strike again! Was just waiting for my period to have the rod in after :-/ too late now not that we don't want baby we'd love them its the stuff that has been happening before that that we can't cope with facing again :-(

I know what u mean scared. Have u got any dd yet? And how many mc have u suffered?
I've only been pg once and lost baby at 7 weeks. But need to stay hopeful it won't strike again.
How far gone are you?

Scared - the CBD tests give you a time since conception, the medics date your pregnancy from your last period which will be about 2 weeks before you ovulated, so 2-3 weeks on a CBD is approx the same as 4+weeks from your dates. One less thing to worry about.

Bid to stop TTC for a couple of weeks lasted about an hour, as soon as we agreed that it would be the for the best we were so proud of each other for being grown-ups that we had a bit of a congratulatory cuddle and ended up dtd on the sofa haha. FAIL.

lol I'm the same as you, this was our first pregnancy, lost the baby at 10 weeks although it stopped growing at 8. FX for a nice normal pg next time round for both of us.

Anyone use the Fertility Friend apt? It's very good at helping you interpret your cycles but I warn you it's addictive!!!

I'm on cd errrr 58? Ish? Still waiting for the AF fairy to wave her wand. I was due on 1st March, mc'd 1st Aug - would have had a nice 18wk bump by now, hence the massive bump envy!

Thx for your welcomes It all seems such a rollercoaster ride doesn't it? Once upon a time I thought a BFP was the goal, now that just seems the start line! It's really hard coming up to the 12 week scan date kitty I know, we were planning to go official next week, hope this one goes ok for you. If I manage to get BFP again I have vowed not to get excited before I've seen the 12 wk scan. The worst thing was that, having almost made it to 11wks, I stupidly ordered some maternity clothes in the Next sale which all turned up yesterday...

Lol I have one dd she's 3 that was my first pregnancy my last two ended in mc one in Dec and one in may I'm now about 4 weeks 4 days! And so scared its gonna end the same way as the rest I'm not telling anyone but need to talk about it hence this page and it really helps thanks guys!

Womble thats sad bless you I had everything when I lost my last one I gave it all away coz I couldn't look at it and swore I'd never get pregnant again! Not buying nothing till 20 scan this time if I get that far! :-/

Woolly- that was really bad timing how awful
Hopefully you will be needing them again soon though and buying things early doesn't make things happen in happen etc it's one of life's cruel things but we will get our babies too

Woolly you are so right about the bfp just being the start. My pregnancy with my dd (now 27 months) was so straightforward (except for ms) and I got pg on first cycle. Now it's taken us a year to get pg and it ended in mc. I was so shocked.
I am now 7dpo and syptom spotting but am so scared of how Im going to feel if I get a bfp.

Scared it sounds like you're having such a tough time. Big hugs, I hope this little one sticks.

So sorry ladies. Can't seem to keep up on the moment with all your talking so sorry for lack of individual posts. Feeling quite emotional at the moment. Wishing I could close my eyes and sleep a few weeks away or at least know everything will be ok. Miscarriage is so cruel.

Betty that sounds promising!! I'm going to try and hold out to the 10th. U? I've already started symptom sporting!! I hugged a friend early and my boobs felt a bit sore?! Implantation cramps sound v promising!!!

Wolly sorry to hear about the damn Next order! I had one of those of apts that kindly reminded me the day I started bleeding that I was xx weeks...grrr! Also had the midwife ring me up to say I'd missed my appointment! Ud think the EPU would communicate with them wouldn't you?!

Had a few too many drinks over the weekend so planning a detox from tomorrow. Decaf coffee and tea only and strict eating 5 a day. Also going to get running again too. Fx I keep it up as my will power has been zero lately.

I'm also detoxing for the next 5 days. Only drinking juice!!!! Got this app with this book on juicing and will go for it. Hopefully it will take my mind off things!
