TTC after recent MC

Here we go everyone - a place for the recent MCers to chat and share all our NOT waiting stories!

Hi everyone!! I took another clearblue test (the one with the +) today and it was A LOT darker, and appeared immediately, so that is really reassuring. I thought I was only 12dpo, but now I'm thinking maybe I'm 14 or 15 because it was such a dark and clear reading... Also my cramps have started subsiding a bit so am feeling a bit more positive today, phew. Fx to us all!
Good luck to the shaggers this week :-) I really think the DTD EOD thing is the the right way to go. Thats what DH and I did up to receiving my "smiley", then we only did it once after the smiley, but I reckon its the DTD in the day or 2 before that probably did the trick

I've just taken a cb digital which says I'm 5+ wks pregnant too, I must have ovulated only a couple of weeks after mc then as that the only time we dtd.

I took my second frer this morning as had a panic what If it's leftover mc hormones as only used cheepie to check bfn but the line came up before the control and is now the same colour so nice and dark

Oh and panda have you got more symptoms as I'm still pretty lacking in them! Tired, keep going to bed at 9 and dreaming and occasionally feel my boobs but that's it, perhaps peeing abit more too

Yes I think I'll pop over and say hi :o no more symptoms yet apart from complete exhaustion, and I keep crying at everything on tv so I think that could be the hormones, I was in floods of tears the other day when a couple on tv got divorced!

Ha ha, I had a massive row with my sis and cried hysterically and cried yesterday when my friend couldn't come to visit!!

Don't think this pg is going to work out for me. Having some bright red blood now and cramping. I can't believe it's happening again

Oh woody so sorry you are bleeding :( has it just been one lot? Are you going to contact the early pregnancy unit for some support. Big hug x

Oh Woody I am so so sorry, could you go to the OOH and see if they will see you?

It's just been 2 times when I've wiped. It's stopped now. I don't think EPU would do anything as it's so early. I've got another blood test on Monday so I'll have that done, which I think will confirm everything.

If a mc is what was going to happen, then I'd rather it did now then let me get further along and my hopes up even more - I don't know if that makes sense.

Oh woody try not to panic! Impossible I know!
The only thing I would say is go to A&E if u continue to bleed. Worse case scenario they will take bloods early even if they don't scan you.

Woody im sorry your having to go through bleeding again it really is the worst but early pregnancy bleeding doesn't always mean mc, try to look after yourself till Monday and the bloods will tell you what is going on,fx sweetie xx

Oh woody [hugs] x just take good care of yourself and whatever will be will be. It may be nothing but if is mc, better now than later. I was 13 weeks and mc and had told everyone. It is just as awful at a few weeks as I have experienced that too. Fx woody

That's good advice mrs I'm cd 9 now and hope to Dtd a few times in next week,so I hope that will do it..

What do you think? Very nervous about missing ov.

Is there a possibility it could be implantation bleeding? I remember having this with dc but that was 6 years ago so I don't remember how much it was IYSWIM.

Thank you for all your messages - it's definitely a mc - I just knew from the blood and pain and I have now been passing clots. Just done a pg test and it is -ve. I did one this morning and it was +ve. I haven't felt that things were quite right from the start - I think that is probably why I had become a bit obsessive about poas etc. GP I spoke to was really nice and said it's about 1 in 20 who mc 2x consecutively.

As the test has already gone -ve and I've been spotting since before I got the +ve (although usually brown stuff), I wonder if it was a chemical pg? Will be interesting to see what my hcg level was from the blood test on Friday.

Anyway, back to ttc. I'm going to take today as cd1.

I feel absolutely gutted that this has happened but I suppose that it at least shows that I can get pg - I've just got to try and get them to stick. And as I said before, if it was going to happen, at least it's happened this early.

Oh hun I'm so sorry this is happening to you again. Once is bad enough but twice is dreadful!
You are behind very strong and positive. Make sure DH looks after you. Don't lose hope x

Oh Woody am so sorry to hear. It does sound like a chemical pregnancy, so you can start today as CD1, a new cycle, a new start. I have a BFP now after 2 consecutive MCs (one in July, then August) so it is very possible to get another BFP again, just like before.

I'm really sorry Woody, what an awful thing to happen again. I think it does sound like a chemical pregnancy, you've got a really positive attitude to it all which is good, I agree with lol, have your DH look after you tonight and give you lots of support.

woody so very sorry to hear about that. The same thing happened to me and seeing the -ge on the pg test is devastating even if you know it's coming. sending hugs your way.

A pregnancy is a pregnancy though - the terminology is just different.. Chem pg is when it's not possible to see sac or heartbeat yet, clinical pregnancy is when you can, usually after 6 wks. Pls stay on the thread and we'll all keep trying together.

In the meantime delete or change any pg apps you may have set up or else you'll continue to get weekly updates and announcements on your pregnancy which can prove a bit distressing!

I'm so woody your experience is almost mimicking mine got pg mc one af imbetween pg again but bleeding from the beginning, unfortunatly mine became more prolonged as it was 2 weeks before it mc and it took 21/2 more weeks to get a neg test but I know that pain of bleeding everyday and not knowing what's going on, I too knew it wasnt right from the start but hoped I might be one of the lucky ones who bleed and were ok, in the end it was just a relief to know what was going on
very very sad for you but fx like me you get pg next cycle again and it's the keeper!!
