Yes, hopefully the GP will be sympathetic - think it will depend who I get. Surgery aren't always very helpful where I go...

GoldPedanticPanda · 18/09/2012 22:50

Thanks posy and littlepink, I'm now quite confused about dates though, I mc the 15th of last month, started bleeding on the 13th and finished on the 20th. When should I work my dates from?

woody tell your doctor you are experiencing a lot of stress and worry and are struggling to eat and sleep because of it too so you really need your blood checked for reassurance and your own health too. If they refuse then could you book another appointment with another GP? If you make enough fuss then gp's eventually listen to you, I've learnt that the hard way trying to get appointments for my son for his ASD.

Lolcbcblemonlime · 19/09/2012 05:33

Hi girls how is everyone doing?
I'm back today. Had an amazing time and didn't obsess much about ttc!
Af due 22nd but I'm still not sure if I'm back being regular. Scared to poas as usual. Let's see what happens.
How is everyone? Pls tell me I missed a couple of bfps at least!

kittykatskumkwat · 19/09/2012 09:19

Well woody, im with you on the hand holding
bought a frer test yesterday as I didn't like that superdrug one and there's a line!!
I'm so scared as I'm sure you all understand, I fear the worst and wasn't sure wether to tempt fare and post but really want to try and be positive- god I want this one to stick!!

GoldPedanticPanda · 19/09/2012 09:23

Congrats kitty! Well you, me and woody can all hold each others hands and hope for the best. I've still got another test that I'm going to take today to see if the line is still just as strong.

kittykatskumkwat · 19/09/2012 09:32

Thanks panda, it's so scarey isn't it! How are you feeling? What kind of test did you use, I think we would be classed as the same as I think my mc was a couple of days before you but then yours seemed to finish quicker etc so I think you are probably abit further along in terms of ov etc

woody17 · 19/09/2012 09:36

Ah congratulations kitty - that's brilliant!

I've decided to wait until next week to go and see dr. I think that they would refer me to epu but to be honest, you can't really see heartbeat until 6/7 weeks so I'd be waiting anyway. I'm going to keep testing every few days and if everything is still ok on Monday, I'll make an appointment then.

Glad you had a good holiday lolcbcb

kittykatskumkwat · 19/09/2012 09:58

Thanks woody, it was your advice on the superdrug test that made me go and buy a different one, I have opened that sd test and I can see a line now but the glass over the top was making it look like a shadow or not there!
How is the spotting today, will you test tomorrow again? I think that's fair on the gp app, they won't do anything yet apart from bloods but I think you will be able to see with tests if that is rising, I would still go and mention it if the tests carry on as you will be booked in for an early scan even if it's not for a few weeks and that wi be good reassurance

GoldPedanticPanda · 19/09/2012 10:04

I'm quite worried kitty, I feel like I can't be happy about it just incase. I used a lloyds pharmacy early pregnancy test, I'm going to keep buying the same test just to make sure. I'm not telling anyone either but DP is worried too and doesn't want to talk about it much because our last 2 pregnancies ended in a mc.

Have you had much symptoms? Aside from the fainting ive still just been really exhausted.

jessiethecowgirl · 19/09/2012 10:04

Yay!!! Congrats Kitty on BFP! Am so thrilled for you. Major hand holding here! I am on 9dpo and, like you lol, scared to poas. Am going to wait until Monday when I'll be 14dpo if still no AF. Fx for us all!

kittykatskumkwat · 19/09/2012 10:12

No I've not really got any symptoms, I have a cold saw which I got exactly the same time last time and have for the past week been going to bed early but waking up not being able to sleep and having vivid dreams, I have a few feelings in boobs but nothing like last time but as last time went wrong aswell I can't say strong symptoms are good as I felt sick etc every day and it still went wrong, I have had 2 mc in a row now aswell, one af between last 2, I have a 1yr old dd who I had no problems with, I'm so scared especially as this is early, started bleeding at time af was due last month although pregnancy developed for another 2 wks until it went wrong
Have you got any dc's?
Good luck Jessie, lol is the same dpo as me so really my testing buddy, I wish I had the strenth not to poas so early!

GoldPedanticPanda · 19/09/2012 10:17

Yes I've got a 5 year old DS, I'd love to give him a sibling.

Would you count mc as cd1, so we'd be about 5 weeks?

littlepinkfizz · 19/09/2012 10:21

O another BFP! Congratulations kitty ! And fx for woody and panda! Glad you enjoyed the break locb

MunchinMango · 19/09/2012 10:24

Wow kitty congrats , that's fantastic news. Three Bfps's on this thread. I'm delighted for you all. Yous really all deserve for it to go right this time And maybe Jessie will be another. You give me a glimmer of hope kitty that tests can give a false negative. (prob clutching at straws here but still no AF and still imagining pg symptoms)

Welcome back from hols lol.

kittykatskumkwat · 19/09/2012 10:29

Fx munchin someone put a link on the sept thread end of first one that was really interesting about implantation and tests etc, I recommend a read!!
Panda I don't think we can really date it, I don't think I'd be as far as 5wks as I didn't ov til what would be cd25 counting cd1 as heavy bleed and usually I'd be cd17 so I reacon maybe work it out then figure your a week later?!

MunchinMango · 19/09/2012 11:29

Thanks for that kitty, I've just read the link. Think I might purchase a frer and try it with fmu, well assuming AF doesn't show up first.

Lolcbcblemonlime · 19/09/2012 12:08

So we have panda and kitty here? I just said on other Fred that I'll def get myself an animal name if not lucky this time!
That's great news. Lets all hold hands and not panic impossible I know

Lolcbcblemonlime · 19/09/2012 12:41

And woody!!! Wow! The holidays worked wonders! Lots of Australian shagging must have done the trick!
Keep us informed on how u feeling and how things are going! F x no trouble this time xx

suzydelarosa · 19/09/2012 15:23

I am green with envy with everyone's BFPs... I'm still a week to ovulation - sigh.

On another note entirely, I feel slightly traumatized everytime I come onto mumsnet because they are constantly running adverts for an ex-employer who I thought I'd love working for and hated. It is as if every second I'm on here I'm reminded of my work trauma!! I must get in touch with mumsnet to see if there's a way to switch the ads off!!

posyplum · 19/09/2012 15:25

Wow, congrats kitty! Hope you're all OK and not too freaked out. We're all here for the hand holding.

LOL lol - how about Lolcbcblion? I'd have to go for posypossum for some australian luck.

posyplum · 19/09/2012 15:30

Oh dear, that's weird Suzy. Do you think it's a targeted ad? I sympathise. I moved companies to get away from a team I was very unhappy in, and they have all followed me here one by one.. all in a different department, but still!

suzydelarosa · 19/09/2012 15:33

Rubbish isn't it - it's a national organization that targets mums, so they're not stalking me, I just happen to be their demographic. It actually makes me feel sick to my stomach when I see their name (rather than 'inspired' as I should...) Must try to read mumnet with one eye closed to block out advertising!! :)

babyjamesblackberrycrumble · 19/09/2012 17:39

Congrats Kitty on BFP! Sending you sticky bean vibes.
I'm just starting the long 2 week wait! Hope I get the same result !

AlmondFrangipani · 19/09/2012 19:25

Hi Girls!

I had quite a bit of catching up to do! Yay for all the BFPS! Congrats Kitty, Woody & Panda!! I think I would be apprehensive too but focus on the positive that you all got pg again!!

I feel slightly left out. I am only on CD9. Suzy I think we are nearly the same?? If my cycle is anything like 'normal' I should be ovulating at the end of this week/start of next week. Fingers crossed we DTD at the right time and keep up the momentum! Not quite managed EOD but minimum of every 3 days and hopefully a bit more over the weekend Wink!

AlmondFrangipani · 19/09/2012 19:31

Oh yes, in all my excitement I forgot to ask the question I had! I have started the OPKs. I have been doing them in the afternoon and the second 'control' line is faint. I think because I drink a lot in the day due to bad kidneys. I wondered if I'm better to swap to the first wee of the day instead?? I haven't had a positive yet so don't really know the optimum use for them!!
