Bought the FR and caved and tested this afternoon - BFN!

Will use the other one in the morning. Then I am going to leave it until next week, if still a BFN and af still hasn't arrived. We are away at a wedding in the middle of nowhere so there will be no opportunity to buy more tests!

I am starting to think that this is definitely another wtf cycle...

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been a bit AWOL, I have some catching up to do!

Woody welcome back! I think I've had another WTF cycle too (or just one that didn't work!), though in my case I got AF early, yesterday (didn't stop me wasting two FRERs on BFNs though!)

Roll on next cycle - June babies all round?

Welcome Frothy. I had a MC last month too. Sorry for your loss. My DH and I both want to try again but we are both nervous about the same thing happening. Where abouts are you in your cycle do you think. I'm all over the place this one!

Thanks, babyjames. I am confused about when to start counting the days- sorry TMI warning- I had brown discharge a few days before I started bleeding, so uncertain as to which day was CD1.

Hi frothy, sorry your joining us, officially your surposed to start cd1 as the heaviest day of bleeding you may find though that your cycle will still be out about a week anyway, my dh was apprehensive about trying again first cycle but we have both times, first time didn't work and currently on second attempt, I think If it happens whenever you will always be nervous, there are alot of threads around though where it has happened, a particularly positive one in the miscarriage section called holy jeff or something, good luck

Good but I don't feel like itl be my month, I've had things that you could call symptoms, quite tired and woke up for the last 2 nights fretting and couldn't sleep, not the usual but could be nothing, no concrete things like bad taste, sickness, implantation or boobs told myself I won't be too upset if she gets me but I know I will as the cycles have been so long it seems to take forever to go from one month to the next, would be v v lucky to fall pregnant 2 months in a row though

Thanks, kitty. I think the heaviest day was the 14/08, so that would mean I am on CD31, which is weird, so being about a week out would make sense. I saw that holyjeff thread- it does give hope!

Yes I'm on cd36 expecting af cd40, my cycles used to be 28 ish days up to 31/32 so defo a week out

Hi Frothy, and welcome to the thread, although under crap circumstances. Sorry to hear about MC. Yes I would count the heaviest day of MC as CD1. In both cases for me, when using that method, I was as Kitty says, about a week out. So ovulated around CD 21. On CD 27 now so have a bit of a wait for AF (or BFP!)

I am now on cycle day 30 post MC and the OPK saying that I have a surge, fingers crossed am ovulating! I usually have cycles of around 32 days so this is going to be a long one. Had a really low week this week so has been great to see that smiley.

I have my fingers crossed for yo all on the 2 week wait.

Hi baby, that's good to see glad its picked you up, fwi I was in morrisons earlier and don't know if it was just mine but they were selling the cb digi ovulation 7 packs for £3.09!! Saving £12.89 no idea why, still valid another year etc, they were out of view abit on the bottom shelf but worth checking out with these stupid long wtf cycles!!
I'm dpo8 but cd36, I'm not positive though as I think I can pretty much tell by my cm that it's not worked this month

Anyone know do I count 14 days after 1st or last smiley opk to when AF due?

babyjames I would also like to know that answer, because its been a week since my smiley, but I don't know if that means I'm 7dpo or not. And I didn't check again once I got my smiley so don't know how long the surge would have been detected for.
Anyone know the answer?
