Like it says in the title. Have hit the 2ww and really really need someone to distract me, or give me something to do to distract myself so I don't stupidly POAS because that would be a total waste of time and money at this stage

Don't do it. Just visualise peeing on a £5 note. Expensive and pointless.

How many days post ov are you. Best of luck.

frustratedpants · 22/07/2012 09:23

4! Blush so know it would be a complete and utter waste of time.

Hmm I wonder if I have a £5 note Hmm I could keep it in the bathroom and pee on it of I feel the need. Grin

Me too Frustrated. Im 7dpo (I think hope). I can start testing on the 31st.

I've made sure I haven't got any sticks so I'm not tempted.

And I'm not symptom spotting AT all Smile

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 22/07/2012 09:33

4 oh no. You're already thinking of poas. Try and hold out till at least next weekend, best of luck

ChildOfThe1980s · 22/07/2012 09:43

You'll get a BFN at this point, so that would just make you sad.

Fingers crossed for you.

I am 2 days late now, and too scared to test.

SuperSlattern · 22/07/2012 09:46

Child Are you normally late??? I tested the day after I was due on and got a BFP (with Dd)

You know what we are all thinking don't you?

PEE!! Grin

ChildOfThe1980s · 22/07/2012 09:49

Yes, I seem to get one day later every month. :(

I am on CD 37 now - argh!

SuperSlattern · 22/07/2012 09:59

Thanks for the encouragement! But I am going to hold out til tomorrow.

How long are everyone's cycles then? I never have a clue when I OV.

hannahsarah · 22/07/2012 19:25

Hi all, can I come in?

I am also trying to distract myself during the 2ww and the crazy is wa-ay worse this cycle than before (#7 ttc). DH and I agreed no hpt until CD38 (37 is longest recent cycle). I'm currently CD32, every hour seems to last a day at the moment and over analysing every twinge my body makes in case it is pre-AF cramps.

Any tips? Please?!

frustratedpants · 22/07/2012 21:45

Welcome hannahsarah
Im a textbook 28/9 day cycle. Always thought I Ov-d on the 14th day, but LH surge detected on the 15th day this month. (clearblue tests done mid afternoon) im on CD19, So POAS day is the 31st or the 1st. If I can hang on that long.

Hi, I'm 3 DPO right now and I'm already sure it'll be a BFN.
No reason, I'm just sure of it. I'm due to poas on the 2nd Aug but I'll be away then.

ChildOfThe1980s · 23/07/2012 12:09

It realy is best to assume that AF is on its way. That way it hurts a little less when she arrives. I have tried my best to do this this month, after learning from experience.

So, I did wait until this morning to test. I am three days late and was getting fed up. BFP! Shock

Best of luck for you 2ww-ers. x

SuperSlattern · 23/07/2012 12:16

I knew you should POAS!

Congratulations

SuperSlattern · 23/07/2012 12:22

Anyone know if cramps around CD22 is a good or bad thing? Ive been feeling a bit weird the past few days, as if something is 'moving' type of thing. I know its not but its the best way I can describe it. I dont think its wind either Smile

Ive had a few cramp type pains for a couple of days now, and today feels quite sore, not enough for painkillers but enough for me to think about them, with a bit of backache thrown in for good measure.

I cant remember with DD when my cramps started, if it was before or after I found out I was pregnant. I know I definitely had them after I found out I was pregnant and I did not panic and phone the midwife every five minutes

I am also ravenous! even my DH has commented Blush

I am also tired, but that could be the fun and games we are having with 11 mo DD at the moment ......

Can I join too - I am 15dpo and as yet not POAS.

I am going to wait till AF is late by 1 day atleast. I need some support to 'not' POAS. Because if I do and its a BFN then i'll forever be wondering if I have peed to soon or maybe theres still a chance of testing positive. So i am determined to hold out till Friday this week.

superslattern I am very hungry too - been eating like a pig for the last week. But no symptoms yet. AF due on thursday.

Pipbin · 23/07/2012 13:16

Congratulations Child.

Assuming I'm not pg this month then it's clomid for me next cycle.

hannahsarah · 23/07/2012 13:22

Congratulations Child Smile

hannahsarah · 23/07/2012 13:35

I feel a bit weird about putting personal stuff on here but I think it's a bit less weird than reading your personal stuff and not joining in!

I have never POAS for all the reasons red said.

Also, it helps to think about my friend who POAS @ 10 or 11 dpo every cycle and seems to have picked up at least one very early loss. We should spare ourselves that heartache.

Mind you, it's easier said than done - it's like my body is torturing me with stupid unpredictable cycle and cramping a little bit but not enough to make me certain it's pms. I am counting the seconds and so tired of it that I have reached the stage of wishing ERTD would just show up already. Is there a way to accelerate time??!

Child - did you have any symptoms other than being late?

PuppyMummy · 23/07/2012 13:37

Congratulations!

Im in middle of 2ww. 8 dpo. af due sat, possibly fri or sun as it has a habit of adding or taking off a day at will!

Last cycle was 3 days late que manic poas-ing and imagining of lines, 5 tests later and af eventually appeared and it was clearly a bfn! Wont be doing that again so there will be no poas until next tuesday at earliest, pending af arrival first!

I like the £5 tip!

Kittenkatzen · 23/07/2012 13:48

Can I join too please?!

I'm 7 dpo, af due next Monday. hannah I'm like you, have never poas before - too scared of the let down I think. Last month I was 4 days late and was just beginning to seriously consider picking up a hpt when when af showed up :( So this month I'm leaving it 5 days at least!

child please tell us any other symptoms you had so that we can all drive ourselves completely nuts look out for them! :o

redstrawberry · 23/07/2012 15:13

wow kitten thats very strong determination. I am faltering at waiting for a day late too. But completely understand where you are coming from.

The thing is if AF arrives, the pain is less as you know for sure you are not pregnant. With the BFN you always doubting if tested too early - theres stilla slight chance. So I have resolved to wait till a day later. My AF announces its arrival with spotting 2-3 days before. I am 3 days away and no spotting yet

redstrawberry · 23/07/2012 15:14

yes child please volunteer some of your symptoms along the lines of what your CM changes were (if you kept track), sore boobage, nausea, cramps etc????!
