2WW - somebody please distract me from POAS

Like it says in the title. Have hit the 2ww and really really need someone to distract me, or give me something to do to distract myself so I don't stupidly POAS because that would be a total waste of time and money at this stage

yes I think the time from Sunday - today feels like 4 years rather than 4 days. I am already thinking of caving and peeing tomorrow as thats when AF is due. So should get an accurate result I don't know if I can hold on till Friday.

last month I poas on the day af due cos me and oh had planned drinks if it was a bfn.
I thought there was a faint line so did another and then thought there was another faint line. this was sat. did another on sun clearly a bfn then another on Mon also bfn. then af arrived on the tues!

was ridiculous and just made me feel bad. so from now on I'm waiting for af or to be a clear 3 days late.

and we didn't even have drinks after all that

I have still been drinking although a lot less - just a glass of wine last weekend. But I am seeing some friends, including a pregnant friend on Friday and if its a BFN i might just find it to difficult to keep a happy face on.

So I thought if I peed tomorrow and its a BFN I'll accept that AF is late and just move on. I won't do another test.

My will power has crumbled. Its been hard waiting till Friday. Atleast if i find out tomorrow I can compose myself for Friday.

I have been drinking also in public situations as only my sis knows were ttc but have been trying to stick to a couple of glasses.

I finally caved yesterday and POAS. Couldn't hold it any longer.
Came up straight away with a very faint positive :)

Tested this morning again and def a BFP. Can't stop grinning. It still hasn't sunk in.

I still feel the same - no major symptoms except the boobage and I am glad. I just want the BFP to sink in before the symptoms kick in.

Well my boobs are getting more tender, and that's what happened before my BFP with DD. I don't get sore boobs before my AF.

Eek, this is the first month TTC properly. Bloody typical, DD took 2 years and DC #2 takes two minutes. I thought we'd be at the v least 3 months.

Well there's no definate BFP until next Tuesday

af due sat for me.
usually get sore boobs a week before but they are not sore, but are swollen.
also had some mild cramping this week again different cos I normally get cramps the day af is due (is how I can tell its coming)
however I am refusing to get optimistic due to the horrible disappointment so just quietly crossing my fingers and not thinking about it all! yeah right!

I POAS yesterday. at 7dpo obviously it was -ive. how stupid do I feel about that
Not ruling myself out yet. Have no more tests until my Internet cheapies arrive tomorrow.
I am also in a foul mood, which is a good sign, was slightly evil when pg with dd

fx Puppy. I'm trying to think like that too but failing miserably AF is due on Tuesday, and I'm usually pretty regular. If it doesn't show then I'll test on Wednesday.

Frustrated we've all been there. I'm not an organised parent so there's no way I have time to order lots of cheapies. I might try to at the weekend so they get here just on time

Darn it my cheapies have arrived a day early. I will not wee I will not wee anyway can't wee until tomorrow. I need to distract myself. Day out spending money that I don't have should do the trick.

oo, can I join. Day 24 of cycle today, cycle 23-27 day. So I caved today and POAS and BFN. Must wait til monday, must wait til mon...

Just reading through this thread and smiling and waiting for my POAS obsession to kick in!

Am on Cycle 1 so only POAS obsession had been on a OV stick but I have lots of PG sticks ready and waiting (cheapie internet ones - I know I am inpatient!)

My AF is due on 28th/29th July but I got a +ve OV stick on CD20 after having my copper coil out so I am assuming I'm on day 6 of the 2WW altought not convinced that coil removal has not messed everything up as CD20 to ovulate is v.v.v.late in a 28 day cycle!

Anybody due to POAS around 3rd August like me or are your waits shorter not that I'm at all envious!
