The second line came up straight away within the 3min limit. I first thought it was a bfn and my heart sank and I thought nevermind there's always next month. And I was rinsing the cup and had the left the test on the sink and the line came up :)

There were no symptoms except tingly boobs and cramps. So even if you get no symptoms theres always a chance of a BFP.

I had promised I would share what we did this month. I took epo - 2000mg and dtd EOD around OV and after OV. I stressed and obssessed for the whole 2ww. So 'relaxing' is clearly not what helped this bfp. Read 6 books in a month. And drank wine.

Dh is grinning like an idiot. We both are.
He's having some beer to celebrate.

I did another FRER this morning and it was a clear BFP. Doing the digi tomorrow - something to look forward to. I love POAS everyday :)

few mc :( and lot of symptom spotting going on.
Seeing as I don't have any symptoms apart from tingly boobs :) I am staying off there. I am not complaining abt no symptoms :) blissfully enjoying just the tingly boobs. Besides they start at 6 weeks.

I guess I was insane for symptom spotting earlier on as I had a faint BFP yesterday so most likely wasn't going to feel anything.

Yeh stay off those threads, I would. Bask in the glory of it. I would be in absolute bits I must be honest. I would rush out and buy "What to Expect when you're expecting" and see if I can make bloody make SURE it sticks!!

We decided to carry on TTC this month. I should OV in early August. We figure my body wouldn't let me get pregnant on the other side when I was ill, so if its not ready now, it won't let me either.

There is a whole lot of mathematical equations and logic that are going behind this decision but we both feel that I am comfortable with the diabetes and we both are sure that the hba1c will be either at target or slightly above. If it is slightly above, from yesterday when they took the blood and based on the idea that I fall pregnant first time around (unlikely), I will have a total of 4 additional weeks to bring the hba1c down so that it doesn't interfere with any organ growth.

I am feeling confident that my levels will be fine though. They dropped 3.6 points in 2.5 weeks. It's been about 5 weeks since my last test and my overall levels have halves since my first tests. I need to drop another 3.5% at minimum in 5 weeks (excluding the additional 4 weeks - so it would be a total of 3.5% over 9 weeks)

Haha great mind things alike! This morning I swapped my Amazon basket with What to Expect instead of OPKs :)

Kick if its any encouragement - a friend of mine was pregnant and diagnosed with diabetes (not sure what type - but she pretty much vomitted and fainted and had to be taken to hosp by an ambulance - spent a few nights there) in her third trimester and she had to take insulin shots and bring the levels down like you. She managed to do so before entering her last few weeks. Her lovely dd is now 3.
