I just decided to go for TTC, even if it means I'm pregnant at the wedding in 10 weeks' time. I'm more keen on having a baby than drinking at the wedding!

You'll just have to do what feels right, in the end. Suppose it depends what kind of wedding you want too!

LisaC2611 · 03/08/2012 09:01

Not feeling too positive about the results think I'm going to end up having issues with my fertility because of it. Should get a letter soon, hopefully by Tuesday at the latest. I will be moaning at my dr though when I go again because I went about the problem I have 3 years ago and they sent me for the wrong types of test and nothing got done about it Sad

I've got private medical through my work but I don't think they will let me have the fertility tests through them so means I am going to have to do the nhs wait.

why the quandary dulcet?

woody17 · 03/08/2012 09:02

I always thought I would end up have quite a few drinks at my wedding but in the end I was so caught up in the excitement etc I didn't drink anything alcoholic, apart from during the toasts! It's nice now that I remember absolutely everything about the day and lots of little details. DH didn't drink much either (also unexpectedly) so we had a fab wedding night!

nicolahazel one thing I was told to do on my wedding day (and was glad I did) was to take a few moments every so often just to stand back and watch everyone - to see everyone enjoying themselves etc. Have you got much to sort out?

Well, I finally had a BFN this morning after mc - I feel so happy as it now means that we can definitely ttc again.

DulcetMoans · 03/08/2012 09:09

Yeah, similar puppy in some ways. We have been together 10yrs so weren't in that much of a hurry to get married but then Grandma told us to hurry up and you have to do what Grandma says so we are looking at July next year, for our anniversary. If we were successful this month the baby would be born April so three months before which I think I could deal with, but not sure I would want it any closer to this potential July wedding. But that means stopping until at least December and in not keen to stop. We agreed we wanted a baby more so that was priority so feels wrong to stop.

I don't mind being pregnant at the wedding, I don't drunk much anyway. Just worried about recovery time prior to wedding or being due too close to it.

Not that there is a wedding planned at all, it's all up in the air!!

NicolaHazel · 03/08/2012 09:21

Glad you're feeling more positive Woody, must be good to be able to move forward finally after something so shit :-/

Nothing much left to organise, just got to pay for the balances now. Boo!!

Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 09:45

Nicola I'm feeling better then yesterday. A very faint tugging/stitch feeling in my lower stomach area today. I keep forgetting that you're getting married soon because you appear so calm about it all! I bet you're really organised. I guess you're in the limbo stage though as its too early to do anything for the day. Have you had your last dress fitting yet? Chosen your make up and brought the all important underwear? Sorry I'm so nosey when it comes to weddings :)

Lisa glad you found it interesting

Woody great that you're back to DTD stage again :) I too didn't drink much at my wedding and enjoyed stepping back to see everyone having a good time.

Dulcet this is such a tricky predicament to be in! Could you plan a wedding in 6 month instead and if you could would it be too stressful anyway? If it was me and we both really wanted a baby now I would book July 2014. So many of my friends take 2 years to plan and save for their wedding it seems to be the norm. I hope you come to a decision you're both happy with x

Newbie...how off we are sharing pains!

Dress: not had proper fitting yet, but fitted perfectly last time, so shouldn't need altering. Trying it on again next Friday when my sister is up.

Hair: being dyed tomorrow as wedding dye will take better if been done once before. Reddy / brown base with RED highlights.

Make up: minimal, barely there. Booked into a place back home to get it done on morning.

Table plan: done. Very hard considering only 31 at breakfast.

Flowers: done, bar church flower lady telling me what I owe them!

All done really. Can't believe how soon it is.

DulcetMoans · 03/08/2012 10:59

Oh, oh, oh ewcm!!! But negative on the cb stick this morning. Confused!!

Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 12:49

Nicola so exciting! It's like 2 months next weekend isn't it!?

I can't help thinking that all these twinges and feelings are just post pill related how boring and nothing to do with TTC

Dulcet isn't EWCM a sign that OV is on the way?

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 12:52

I would really like a call from the solicitor today to say all parties have signed and we finally have a move in date....come on...good news please!!

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 03/08/2012 13:02

I thought so newbie. Going to trust my body more than the sticks and demand DTD tonight and tomorrow! Annoyingly I am working til 9 tonight which I never do. Would happen now though, wouldn't it!! Sods law and that!

NicolaHazel · 03/08/2012 17:55

No idea when it's likely to happen, Newbie? How long is your chain? Frustrating really.

I can't really be arsed with DTD tonight...good job I'm in the 2WW!

Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 20:09

We thought it would be this week but still no news. Looks like the sellers solicitor is snail pace slow. We don't have a chain and the sellers were going to rent but now they've found a house so maybe that has something to do with the delay. We've not told friends yet cos we wanted to share the news when contracts were signed but it's taking so long I think we will start sharing the news this weekend trying not to get too carried away in case it goes tits up

OK I'm really sick of the stitch feeling on my right side and general tender stomach. It can go away now unless it is implantation highly unlikely / probably too early

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 20:15

By the way Dulcet I think it's good you're trusting your body. Best way to be.

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 03/08/2012 20:17

I hate that wait...nerve wracking. Are you currently in rented? The Scottish system is far better in a way.

I've got the stitch / pressure / tugging / butterfly feeling on the right hand side and generally feeling a bit icky. Sure it's just work stress or something.

Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 20:28

Yeah we're renting. We really need to stop copying each other :) I'm not stressed with work at the moment.

Oh for goodness sake. You know earlier that fertility friend told me AF arrives on Wed well I got that wrong. It's actually telling me that if I ovulated last Sunday then AF is due Mon 13th...aaaaahhhhh that is too long away! Even funnier it tells me my ideal testing day is Fri 17th!! Is it mad??? As if I could wait 3 weeks!!!

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 20:31

Nicola remember I said ages ago that cramping feeling can mean the Fallopian tube contracting to move the eggy along...let's keep our fingers crossed that this is it :)

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 03/08/2012 20:36

Hopefully...seem to have a combination of tummy and gynae ache though. God knows what's going on!

I'm just stressed about everything! Petrified about the wedding. Just feels surreal how close it is. And I've still not bought any bridal magazines or gone to a wedding fayre. Bit late now, ha ha!

Fx your move happens soon.

NicolaHazel · 03/08/2012 20:38

And a 3 week wait is just never going to happen...2 weeks is bad enough.

Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 20:44

Yeah I spoke to soon. Has now turned into cramps right across tummy again...this is so tedious!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 03/08/2012 20:52

You've had so many tummy issues...no wonder you need a break.

My tummy is quite crampy, with heartburn and strange sensation on the right hand side. May get some Gaviscon tomorrow and hope it stops.

DulcetMoans · 03/08/2012 21:25

Are you sharing the same tummy?!

Just finished work, dinner then I demand what I need! Haha.

NicolaHazel · 03/08/2012 21:41

Don't get indigestion, Dulcet!

We're sharing our timings, so why bot our tummies?!

TMI alert...LOTS of creamy CM at the moment. I had a bit during the day, but it's gone mental between 7pm and now. Seems a touch excessive if you ask me!

Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 21:41

You go Dulcet

Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 21:58

Urgh that just put me off my Victoria sponge pudding. Thanks :)
