Sorry about spelling, phone likes to predict itself :)

Hi roxy when I was pg, I ended up having to have 5 internal ultrasounds. None of them hurt at all - occasionally they are a little bit uncomfortable but they don't hurt if that makes sense. They are much better than smear tests - I hate those and find them painful and feel really exposed but the internal ultrasounds are completely different and i didn't feel exposed/embarrassed at all.

It is really hard when people around get pg and her throwaway comment can't have helped.

My DH is similar in that he 'knows' it will happen eventually and I know how difficult that can be to hear.

Hope you enjoy your wine.

Roxyjade · 25/07/2012 21:15

Hey woody17

How are you? That's good to no, just getting a little concerned especially as I hate smear tests to. I shouldn't be bitter , I am happy for her. It's always the ones that want it so much that don't get it. Thanks for tellin me it's not that bad I really appreciate it . Yes I am enjoying my wine, as newbie says if there's no BFP we can still enjoy eating and drinking what we like :)

woody17 · 25/07/2012 21:36

I'm feeling more positive today thanks. Did another pg test and the number of wks it says I a pg has gone down since yesterday so my body must be getting back to normal and hopefully that means that I'll ov before too long as well. For a lot of people it seems to be around 2 wks after mc so hoping it'll be the same for me as well. In my opinion, it so much better than a smear test - I didn't mind having them at all. Newbie is right about the food and drink - I've been enjoying a few glasses of wine and we are going for sushi tomorrow night!

LoveinNY · 25/07/2012 21:49

Hi everyone. Hope you are all at least enjoying the few luxuries you can when not having received the all important BFP. Have been with family any a few bottles of wine to relax from it all. DH has been great but I try to keep him out of the specifics so he doesn't get stressed. I am also really bloated and could be 4 months pg easily but I'm trying burn it off with daily vists to the gym and classes. Hope everyone has chilled a bit, not help in us stressing. Smile. Xx

NicolaHazel · 26/07/2012 07:02

Morning!

Bloating seems to be prevalent. :-( I seem to be suffering with the rest of you, though not quite as bad, I think.

I really don't remember feeling weird / crappy during ovulation in the pre-BC years. I know it was a long time ago, but it continues to baffle / surprise me.

CD11 here and I've got that heavy, dragging feeling and a podgy tummy. Ho hum!

Anyone POAS today? :-)

Roxyjade · 26/07/2012 07:14

Morning all

Yes I have just done my daily poas for the cbfm and the result is still high since cd6 so wondering when I am going to get my peak. First month using it so it's still getting used to my body I think (and hope) any more poas? What was the results :)

letsdothisthing · 26/07/2012 07:25

No I'm not POAS yet :( on CD27/7DPO today but not optimistic about our chances this month Hmm

NicolaHazel · 26/07/2012 07:30

We need some POAS action ladies!

LoveinNY · 26/07/2012 08:43

No poas from me. On CD 22 and now thinking the bloating is a fast approaching AF. Wish they would pick a timescale and stick to it, would make ttc a LOT easier. Confused
Nicola, a nurse told me that's a sign of ovulating so maybe a good thing? X

PuppyMummy · 26/07/2012 08:52

I'm still here. nothing happening yet but af due sat so just trying to while away the days.

it was 3 days late last cycle so I'm expecting it anytime really, makes for exciting toilet trips!!

Newbie2 · 26/07/2012 09:50

I feel like absolute crap! Was up most the night with cramping...have a weird stitch sensation on my right side. I thought the right side was were the appendix is! I now have a really fuzzy head. My temp was a bit higher this morning but probably more to do with the heat wave we're experiencing. No result on CBFM (still showing high at CD18) and no smiley face. So all in all I feel like a very moody teenager!

Roxy has your AF turned up since coming off the pill? Sorry if I've asked this already.

Puppy hello

I feel pretty grumpy today as well newbie - just want to get the -ve test so I know that I may be ov again soon! Hopefully will have it by the end of the weekend.

Hope everyone is ok.

Roxyjade · 26/07/2012 10:48

Hey newbie, my period was perfect when I came off the pill. I came off feb 2011 and it was perfect 28 days, it was only feb 2012 that I missed one and was sure I was pregnant (which I wasn't) then had 2 periods in one month. That's why I'm having tests done now because doctor said it isn't down the comin off the pill as I had been off it to long.

Really angry, hubby jut called and said he might have to work in Bristol for 2 weeks which is less baby making time now. So Annoyed.

Newbie are you sure your not pregnant ? Have you done a test ? When is AF due?

Newbie2 · 26/07/2012 11:35

woody the weekend is nearly here ;)

Roxy that is a good question, where the hell is AF? :) I had the first day of my withdrawal bleed 74 days ago now! And no, not pregnant...sob sob. Sorry to hear your husband is going away...let's hope it's the days you don't need his supply ;)

I'm starting a build a picture now of how I feel. Just looked back at calendar and I felt this crap exactly the same time last month. It appears that I feel bloated and cramps on and off for 2 weeks and then I get 2 weeks mercy. Perhaps the bad two weeks is when I'm flooded with prostegen!

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 26/07/2012 11:39

Ooops that should have said 84 days ago! I know technically that's only 3 cycle (if divided by 28 days) but that still feels like a long long time!

woody17 · 26/07/2012 12:01

Yes I know - weekend is almost here! Ordered myself a couple of things off ASOS this morning and getting them delivered tomorrow - thought new clothes might take my mind off things a bit. We've got quite a busy weekend and seeing family for celebrations etc so hopefully it'll go by quick

Roxyjade · 26/07/2012 12:07

Hey newbie, it may just be that you have just come off the pill, the doctors said to me it can take up to 3 months to get out of your system. If I would wait a little longer and then go back and ask them to give you some tests as to why you havent had a period.

Well I still haven't got a peak on my cbfm so just bd every other day.
I got a ache in my back today and feel quite grumpy so wondering if my ov is around the corner? (hmm)

Newbie2 · 26/07/2012 12:19

Thanks Roxy I too have heard it can take 3 months for some people to get AF back after post pill. Hopefully I've not got too much longer to wait now. I hope you get a peak this weekend as you deserve it with your long wait! :)

Roxyjade · 26/07/2012 12:30

I really do to, I googled ovulstion Calender and it says that I should ovulate around 24th-31st July but so far nothing (apart from a bad back ache) does any one no if it's true that if your progestrone levels are under 30 then you don't ovulate ???

LoveinNY · 26/07/2012 14:36

newbie apparently some woman can actually feel themselves ovualating like you are describing. Slight pain, cramping but no AF after.
Everyone else, I got an iphone app called period planner and it's been good for tracking all things involved in ttc and suggests when things should be happening if like me, you were on the pill for a long time and didn't have to think about AF timings etc.
Just back from swimming and the gym, trying to excercise away the frustration. Wink xx

Roxyjade · 26/07/2012 18:43

I have got a terriable back ache. It's actually killing me. It feels like a back ache when you are on your period, is this a sign of ovulstion? I have never had it this bad before ?

LoveinNY · 26/07/2012 18:50

Hi Roxy, back pain can be a sign of ov. Check out this website (if you don't mind online sources)

Had a crappy day too but I have rewarded myself with chips and a coke. Had to move office today which is no fun in the heat and I hate my new desk! Means less time catching up on what you are all up to. We do need POAS action, seems like a long time in between.
