Just wondering how QueenSconetta is getting on?

OP posts:
jaffacakehips · 15/08/2012 19:56

Just remember Moo that the birth is just a small part of the big picture Grin I had forceps with DD, not that bad. But frankly after 24+ plus in labour I was happy for them to use anything.

12 days left till AF arrives....another long wait for Jaffa

jaffacakehips · 16/08/2012 09:35

So this morning I've been to the GP...sadly not for a BPF. They want to put me on some hormone treatment, however we'll be unable TTC on it, I said no. So now I'm on some pills. 6 a day Shock must remember to take them The thought is they should 'help' the blood clots i've been having during AF. Hmm
Anyway..other than that not a lot happening here, we have a house full colds and snot. Delightful.

Hope you are both well this morning?

OP posts:
QueenSconetta · 16/08/2012 10:34

I hope they sort you out Jaffa. So, just so I get this right, you can still TTC on these pills?

I think you should try and convince your DH to keep TTC rather than taking a break until Christmas. not that it's any of my business

I am ok thank you. I seem to feel crappest during the night. Boobs are sorer again today so that's hopefully good.

Not sure where Moo has got to, unless she is just busy trying not to be sick. Moooooo where are yooooou?

jaffacakehips · 16/08/2012 21:43

Well the GP said that I would be fine, naturally I've goggled the pills to check. They seem okay. I'm to start taking them a few days before AF. Fingers cross I'll get a BFP this month and we can deal with all this AF shite next year. Grin DH and I are still TTC.

Having sores boobs sucks, just wait until you have a small person sucking off them..then they really hurt Wink Smile

OP posts:
QueenSconetta · 17/08/2012 07:42

Yay! So pleased for you that you have decided not to take a break. Fingers crossed for that BFP.

Still no Moo?

jaffacakehips · 17/08/2012 09:53

Whoop whoop! I know, quite please. Bonking bonking... Oh well it could be worse. My boobs hurt today, however I was at the gym on Wednesday and I did quite a few pull ups and push ups. {grrr I'm tough, kisses the guns} Grin So I think it's more the muscles than anything else. Going to go for a run later! Getting fitter, yet I still have my cake tummy AngryBlushHmm

How are things with you today. When's your scan Queen?

I'm guessing Moo is off being fabulously social. Wink

OP posts:
QueenSconetta · 17/08/2012 10:42

I think you should embrace your cake tummy!
.
Don't have a date for a scan yet, they post it to you apparently

jaffacakehips · 20/08/2012 09:30

No no no no I will not embrace my tummy until it has a baby in it. Had a few tummy pains this morning, so I'm not convinced we'll be on a BFP this month.

So how are we doing today? hot hot hot this weekend. Yuck. Thank goodness for paddling pools an ice cream hence the tummy Hmm

{sticks head out, has a look, no one about}
{puzzled face}
{eats Jaffa cake} it's low in fat

QueenSconetta · 21/08/2012 16:20

Hi Jaffa, I am about. How are you? Had a teeny tiny bit of spotting this afternoon so now at home in bed. Nothing since (an hour and a half or so) so we'll see. I am more stressed than I sound I am also worried about Moo.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 21/08/2012 17:11

Hi ladies, sorry the unbelievable all day sickness has really taken hold and I physically can't eat, drink, move without feeling or being sick. I'm completely fed up! Hence my absence!

I'm still lurking!

Sorry about the spotting, have you been to the GP or called the EPU? Hope it goes away!

QueenSconetta · 21/08/2012 17:15

Hey Moo, glad all is well - maybe its twins!

No more so far, fingers crossed. I am waiting for the epu to come back to me with an appointment and spoke to the GP who said rest in bed as much as poss. DP thinks its all in my head and I'm creating a drama!

jaffacakehips · 21/08/2012 22:41

Oh no, this is rubbish for you both.

Bleeding (I would guess) must be very frightening. Lots of rest, call the hospital if you get worried. I think it happens quite a bit during the early stages. Feet up, few crappy gossip mags and a mug of tea for a few days.

Sickness is so horrid. And it's not like a hungover or flu sick it's my body is being attacked by a 1 headed, 2 arms and legs mini me!!!! Arghhh vomit. I had to change my tooth paste with DD, just could handle it at all. Well hopeful you both will be feeling better soon?! I do feel for you, yucky yuck yuck.

AF due next week, had mega pains this afternoon. Trying very hard not to think about it. However a May baby would be lovely jubbly xx

OP posts:
QueenSconetta · 22/08/2012 08:21

No more spotting so far. Back to waiting for phonecall. A bit twingy this morning but not sure if that's normal or not - can't remember. DP being a total twat 'well what does that mean, why are you telling me if you can't tell me what it means? You're on Mumsney 24/7 so you should know what it means'.

How are you all?

QueenSconetta · 23/08/2012 10:06

Morning. It's not looking great here I'm afraid. Just had a scan and they can only see an empty sack. I should be 6+2 so they should see more by now. I could have ovulated later than I thought but I wouldn't have thought so. Anyway they are doing bloods to query ectopic so we just need to wait and see.

jaffacakehips · 23/08/2012 16:53

Oh no queen Sad I'm keeping all my fingers and toes crossed you you.

Keep us posted,

Big hugs to you xxx

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 23/08/2012 17:15

Oh queen what dreadful news. I always thought it was too early even at 6 weeks to see anything though. Doctors have been known to get things wrong.

Have got everything crossed for you!!

QueenSconetta · 23/08/2012 17:23

Thank you. I think I should be between 6+2 and 6+6 but as I've only got one cycle to go on I guess I could have ovulated later.

Still waiting to hear back about blood results, then more bloods on Saturday so it's just a waiting game I guess.

QueenSconetta · 23/08/2012 18:02

Just spoke to the epu, who said my hcg is 'a bit high'.

She said with that level they would expect to see something in the sac, so they are very cautious now of an ectopic.

I've to go tomorrow for another scan, but if I get any severe pain I should go straight to A&E. I'm properly terrified now Sad

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 23/08/2012 19:00

Oh no Queen I'm so so sorry. Hope you get some clearer answers soon. Thinking of you!

QueenSconetta · 23/08/2012 19:06

Thanks Moo.

jaffacakehips · 23/08/2012 20:13

Oh Queen I have no words at all that will help, but just know that thinking of you. x

OP posts:
QueenSconetta · 24/08/2012 05:35
