Just wondering how QueenSconetta is getting on?

OP posts:
jaffacakehips · 01/08/2012 10:51

AF arrived last night, 1 day late.

Will be back later, have to leg it! x

Grin at Queen and your peeing on stick obsession. If AF is not due until Monday then you are prob best waiting until maybe Sunday now before peeing on any more. Think of the money.

I am feeling a bit ahem wet below and keep running to the toilet thinking she has decided to make an appearance despite all the positive tests. She obviously has lost her red coat of doom during the Olympic opening ceremony and is a-searching for it down in London!!! Grin

QueenSconetta · 01/08/2012 13:29

TBH it could be any time from tomorrow AF is due. 28 days is tomorrow but 32 days is Monday (and it was 32 days last month). I am going to try and wait anyway. It's the internet ones I've been using - saving the proper ones for if AF is really late!!

Sorry to hear your AF arrived Jaffa, come back and keep chatting though.

Moo I remember feeling that with DD so seems normal Smile

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 02/08/2012 09:27

Jaffa so sorry about AF (I wasn't being ignorant yesterday, I completely missed your post :()

Queen any news? I hope that witch whore stays away!!!!

It's almost the weekend, we got some gold medals yesterday and the sun is shining (at least where I am it is!!)

Hope we get a BFP (or 2) very very soon!!!!!!!!

jaffacakehips · 02/08/2012 09:28

Just you try and get rid of me Grin No really starting to wonder if really I wait another baby Hmm I think the old DD get's the more I'm starting to chicken out!

Come on we need a BFbloodyP! Fingers cross for this weekend Mooley

QueenSconetta · 02/08/2012 13:06

Hey. No news here, I am holding POAS for just now.

I have been really crampy - very sore and bloated feeling so I think AF is probably on her way. I'm not used to having normal periods though so who knows.

I've had a few instances of funny bitter tastes in my mouth (this morning I had to throw a freshly made cup of tea away because it tasted so disgusting, the next one was fine though) and I am dog tired at night but probably all in my head. I seem to be peeing all the time too, but trying not to get excited about that because I am back at slimming and am eating a lot of foods with a high water content such as melon so that's probably the reason.

Jaffa it is a scary thing I guess. Only you can decide I suppose. Are you still planning to take the break you were talking about?

Still feeling crap Moo? I hope so Smile

QueenSconetta · 02/08/2012 13:07

holding off POAS I mean.

QueenSconetta · 02/08/2012 19:41

Ok, you know how I said I wouldn't test again til the weekend? Well I did.

It's faint but there is definitely a second line - BFP! [Grin]

Am worried in case it's a false positive now so going to do a different one!

jaffacakehips · 02/08/2012 20:49

Whoooooohoooooo Queen that's fucking bloody brilliant!!!!!! Grin

OP posts:
jaffacakehips · 02/08/2012 20:55

YOUR HAVING A BABY...must tone down use of capitals!

Today I collect my friends son as she's in labour right now, he's staying with us for a few days. DD was so happy to see him and watching them play together this afternoon, I thought what a shame it would be if DD was an only child. Maybe a BFP for Jaffa in Aug, if not then we'll think about it again in Dec/Jan.

OP posts:
QueenSconetta · 02/08/2012 21:00

Thanks Jaffa. Can't quite believe it. Grin

DP doesn't believe me, lol, but there was definitely a line on a FRER, superdrug and a barely visible one on internet test, which is what made me do the FRER!

I'm glad you have more settled in your mind now Jaffa

QueenSconetta · 03/08/2012 05:54

So this where POAS obsession becomes a bad thing. I POAS another FRER with FMU expecting it to be much stronger to show DP but it isn't!

The second line is definitely still there but much the same as last night's, if not a tiny bit lighter.

Also did 2 internet ones which looked BFN, but just done another which is has a very faint line the same as last night. I'm going to drive myself mad.

At least it is payday so I can off to buy more today.

I have loads of roasted peppers yesterday for tea so maybe was diluted this morning, as hadn't had much all afternoon yesterday

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 03/08/2012 07:28

omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK QUEEEN EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK what absolutely amazingly fabulous news. I think i may have wee'd my pants a bit in excitement.

I'll be honest, the IC's did not give me a nice strong line until I had done about 13 of them. My understanding is that the majority of them do not have much dye in them and although they say 10miu sensitivity......this is a lie!! The 10miu is merely a threshold, so it could be a lot, lot more.

FRERs are the gold medal of tests. I would wait a couple of days to test again as hCG doubles every 48 hours says the girl who to date has peed on over 25 tests Blush if you can hold out I would have it confirmed with a Digi (i got a positive with a digi at 9dpo, so might be worth a go with one of those, although seeing Not Pregnant is more heartbreaking that not seeing a second line).

Huge, huge congratulations. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

QueenSconetta · 03/08/2012 07:37

Thanks Moo, I am going to buy some digi's and some more FRER on my way to work (and fight the urge to use them all day!)

We'll see, early days but Grin

How are you feeling?

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 03/08/2012 07:49

Not feeling great to be honest, which is obviously good and I'm not complaining. Was nearly sick this morning bending down to get some plastic boxes for my fruit salad. Very unpleasant! Also a bit crampy but apparently that's normal. It's a weird feeling. 5 weeks today just hoping all goes smoothly. A friend of the family's DDiL has just lost her baby at 5 months so you are never really out of the woods do to speak. Keep going with the mantra today I am pregnant 7 weeks until first scan. Can't wait!!! Grin

QueenSconetta · 03/08/2012 08:43

I know what you mean Moo.

Naughty Queen just did one if the digi's and Pregnant 1-2!

Jaffa how goes the planning for your BFP?

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 03/08/2012 08:51

QueenSconetta · 03/08/2012 19:42

I'm watching the swimming and thinking of you Jaffa. Hope your enjoying, x.

QueenSconetta · 03/08/2012 19:43

You're obviously, x.

jaffacakehips · 04/08/2012 12:53

Grin Trying really really hard not to blub like a right big girl over the rowing. [touch] Amazing. Now it's GO JESS!

So DH and I had a chat this morning, I told him if we're going to go for a DC2 we need to make a REAL bonking effort this month to see if we can get a May baby 2013. If it doesn't happen next month then we will late until x-mas / new year. I just told DH the older DD is getting the more I'm starting to chicken out about having another Wink

How is everyone this fine Saturday afternoon, hope the morning sickness isn't too horrid. xx

OP posts:
QueenSconetta · 04/08/2012 16:12

That's it, get him told Jaffa! Go for what really pushes his buttons.

I feel like crap this afternoon which is a good thing I guess. I also feel massive but that is probably in my head. Tested again this morning and darker line so that is good.

Moo, how are you?

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 05/08/2012 12:19

Hey ladies. How are we? Enjoying the Olympics!! GO TEAM GB!!!!! GrinGrin

Queen how you feeling? I'm not great, sicky, dizziness, hot flushes. Was worried this morning as my temp has been dropping over the last couple of days and I had some cramping (temp nowhere near coverline or anything though) and I'm concerned I might be miscarrying but the other symptoms seem to indicate otherwise. Asked DH to hibernate me until week 12 when I can finally start to relax a bit. Can't wait to get that first scan!! Might test again later to see if the Digi is now reading 3+ (I'm now 5+2 so it should)

Jaffa hope you are ok!!! Smile

QueenSconetta · 05/08/2012 12:48

Stay positive Moo, I don't know much about temping but if symptoms still there then you should be fine. You will paranoid the whole time though! Have you booked in with the midwife yet?

I am not too bad at all, crampy on and off, and really tired but only a tiny bit if nausea and my boobs are a bit sore now. I'm going to phone tomorrow to see when I should go and see the midwife.

I told my Mum yesterday and she was a bit 'oh that's nice dear' but hey ho.

I was going to test again tomorrow too, to see how the line was getting on. Don't know why we do it to ourselves!

How are you Jaffa?

jaffacakehips · 05/08/2012 20:09

Queen you can stop now with poas now my love, it's positive Grin Who would of thought poas would become a habit? Wink

Moo I found the 2nd month + quite hard work. I guess your body is just adjusting to things. I'm sure you're fine, maybe make an appointment with your GP next week if you're still feeling 'iffy'. The good thing is it will pass!

As for MrsJaffa, yup we're good. Been babysitting our friends 17th month old, whist she has had a baby. Bloody hell, hats off to anyone with twins. Christ. Tried. Saw my MIL today, she asked if/when we would be having another baby. Blimey...getting it for all sides Hmm

GO TEAM GB....

OP posts:
QueenSconetta · 05/08/2012 21:01

Glad you are good Jaffa. MILs are just a bit nosey. Can't wait to hear about your BFP here though!

I am loving the team GB action too. Watching track and field right now.

How are you feeling Moo?
