BFP in 2012- a thread for winkling-advice and COD-avoidance!

So... here we are!
In a positive move to avoid monthly heartache this is the thread where we'll ttc in 2012.

"will there be winkling?" of course!
"will there be tinkling?" too right! you filthy buggers
"will there be time in the COD?" probably- but it'll only be short lived!
"will there be BFPs?" YES YES YES!

A pledge! do you think I'm taking this too seriously?
I, wishfulthinking, promise to ttc with all my might. I accept that ttc is a long, drawn out process and I shant allow myself to become too obsessed with the process in 2012. (if I remain in-duffed at new year, however, I reserve the right to be right royally pissed off with life and everyone in general!)

Wishfulthinkng1- ttc numero 1- expecting a sticky BFP on July 31st (and at 28 day intervals thereafter!) Days till wedding - 6!

whenshewas - I had tingly boobs yesterday and some cramping too but that could just be to do with the martial arts class I did on weds and my love of spicy food!

Hubby's getting worried about his sperm analysis as it's been 2 weeks and we STILL don't have the results, despite ringing the docs every 2-3 days. Trying to tell him no news is good news but he's freaking out.

I have my tests on Tuesday too.

Just feel so crappy about it all today.

I hope so, wishful. Did you feel anything before finding out you were pregnant? I don't feel pre-menstrual, or anything that I think pregnant would feel like.

So that is winkle nicola and me with tingly boobs. Maybe its a good thing maybe it isn't.

I can't believe your dh (and you) have had to wait so long to get his sperm results back. Hope your tests go ok. Try not to feel crappy about it, you are just getting closer to the result you want. It just sucks it has taken longer than it should have (sucks isn't really strong enough but you have had the shittest time and I think these tests will be the start of a huge improvement for you and your dh (and yes I do mean a BFP in the very near future)).

In all of my almost-36 years my boobs have never felt like this!

My sister is due in October and I'll find that tough I think. If I'm not pregnant by the end of the year I'll be HYSTERICAL.

Nic- re your itchy boobs. I had that and I was pg!!!! Never had it before or after. It's not over till af comes. So fx for both of you tomorrow x

winkle my cousin was one of "those" couples, her baby is due at the end if Jan. She just like you had a horrendous time (18 months) but she has her BFP and it came naturally.

I think you would be amazed just how many people have problems ttc (not that it makes it less shit when it happens to you).

nic my boobs are beyond dull. I don't get any swelling before period, don't get any pain normally. Only time they felt sore was 6/7 weeks pregnant. Otherwise they are just there.

Seems like we share boobs, as it were, When. Mine just don't join in with hormonal stuff! They are H2B's playthings, which is a good job else they'd just be sitting there doing bugger all. :-/

What day are you now Nicola? Could you have ovulated later than you thought

The boob ache is a very good sign- that was the only symptom I got prior to BFP. They had never been like that before- so sensitive that I clouted DH when he went in for a grope!

Winkle I am very impressed by your stamina/determination. We have DTD CD8, 10, 11 and think may need a day off today on CD12- hoping for some signs of ov so that this early action is not wasted!

I'm on CD29 having had a 28 and 26 day cycle the two post-pill cycles.

I didn't use OPKs this cycle, but had ovulation pain from Saturday to Monday. I initially based my DPO on Saturday ovulation, but am now going for Monday, so am 14 DPO today. In theory!

Maybe it is just taking a while to appear. If implantation took 12 days, I suppose that's possible. Lots of variables!

Or my body is teasing me and AF will appear shortly.
