BFP in 2012- a thread for winkling-advice and COD-avoidance!

So... here we are!
In a positive move to avoid monthly heartache this is the thread where we'll ttc in 2012.

"will there be winkling?" of course!
"will there be tinkling?" too right! you filthy buggers
"will there be time in the COD?" probably- but it'll only be short lived!
"will there be BFPs?" YES YES YES!

A pledge! do you think I'm taking this too seriously?
I, wishfulthinking, promise to ttc with all my might. I accept that ttc is a long, drawn out process and I shant allow myself to become too obsessed with the process in 2012. (if I remain in-duffed at new year, however, I reserve the right to be right royally pissed off with life and everyone in general!)

Wishfulthinkng1- ttc numero 1- expecting a sticky BFP on July 31st (and at 28 day intervals thereafter!) Days till wedding - 6!

Good news on your opk red best of luck dtd (it's far too hot for my liking but needs must).

winkle totally understand why you are annoyed by the next door neighbours. I desperately want another child but the idea of having a huge brood fills me with horror. Kids can be very very demanding, I plan to stop at two. I have so much respect for parents who can cope with large numbers of kids (the ones who obviously can't make me wonder why they kept on producing more). Hmmm I sound a bit of a judgey pants.

It is definately a Saturday, my DH works random days each week, so without my school term-time job to define them weekends are non existent. the days merge together

I think I just wrongly presume everyone else is the same.

We are staying at family's tonite so not sure if dtd is acceptable etiquette when staying at someone else's! We dtd yesterday and will resume the shagging tomorrow.

I've decided to come out of MN hiding (couldn't cope with all the TTC talk and BFP's! )

Have only managed to dtd on cd10 this month, so am pretty much out of the running for august as DH away all week/end and next week for work! Kind of takes the pressure off expecting a BFP as its soooo unlikely! But u know what crazies we are - I will doubtless be cross and indignant when AF arrives!! so am now cd 15 and doing a kind of 2ww (but no expectations really) - I will watch as you all get your BFP's x

wowsers - so much going on, I have beeen crazy busy so life is inconveiniently getting in the way of my MN addiction - hmphh!

Congrats to the BFPS - very exciting news.

I am now on CD12 so shagtastic commenced this morning, will try for EOD but have family coming to visit this week which is a bit of a pain. Trying to temp but has been pretty hard to be consistent and not bothering with OPKs at the moment as they don't seem to work for me. If I think i'm OV then i might try one. Based on last month due for BFP 30th August but we'll see.

hello ladies May I join you? Much as I loved being on the August thread, I think I sometimes need a longer view of ttc if you get what I mean? Not so much pressure and heartache.

I'm on cd5 now and dh doesn't seem to understand basic biology that I don't produce an egg every bloody day! Does he think I enjoy scheduling sex to the minute? Gah, men!

I think he has you confused with a chicken, weechops! :-/ Bloody men and their lack of biological knowledge!

Welcome weechops! A longer term view is def the way forward - you may then get a pleasant surprise?!

Ah winkle I hear ya! I feel the same but it's due to not enough swi this month unfortunately so the biology just doesn't add up!!

nicola did I see on the August thread that you are already 13dpo?? How have you not been testing?? That's some serious willpower!!

Be strong winkle you have done everything you can to get pregnant. Really hope this is your lucky month.

I have been testing, to no avail. :-/ BFNs Friday and yesterday with FMU. Another this afternoon. I'll try again in the morning and see what happens. AF is due tomorrow if I've gone back to a 28 day cycle.

Wish my tingling boobs weren't bulding my hopes up.

Sorry you're feeling down, winkle :-( Wish I could say something that would help, but I know I can't.

We have DTD CD 9, 12, 14, 15, 17 and 21 so far. Got our peak on the monitor on CD14 but we're carrying on DTD just to cover us cause of my stupid irregular cycles. Just one more week of DTD!
