Hello ladies!

So we have had our mc's... and are moving on and thinking about making new babies :) Hurray, hurray!

OP posts:
Haylebop12 · 14/08/2012 20:00

What does fx mean? :-/
AlthOugh I desperately want to be pg ASAP because of my mc there is a slight niggling in my head that because of this promotion at work I should wait a while. When he took me on he kept mentioning about the commitment etc, like he knew or something!!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 14/08/2012 20:01

That's nice and early, hopefully you'll get some reassurance, in the meantime here's hoping you wake up feeling really really nauseas and constipated.

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 14/08/2012 20:15

Hayle fx = fingers crossed! How soon is the promotion coming up, you might be able to conceal a pg for many months!?

ChuckleMonster · 14/08/2012 20:29

I think im 7+4 ice, will definitely speak to her about a scan. Thanks one, I have never been so desperate to feel sick!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 14/08/2012 20:31

icequeen - hello sorry to see you here too :( ttc threads in april/may/june seem to have had a lot of unfortunate mcs but we're hanging in there, hopefully our luck will change.

one - wow cool, drs wilde, snowshine and one all correct and present, how learned of us lol

Had an.unusually stressful.day in work with a big deadline and an external assessor paying us a visit. Bath and wine and day off tomorrow!! Thinking about applying for a professional develipment diploma if i can get it funded which starts in october - i dont think i would have taken it on when i was pg but even tho we're ttc again with my pcos and hormones off the wall.post-erpc i hav.no idea when i'll get another bfp so feel like i should be doing something interesting to keep.my.mind off BABIES and im part time at the.min cos DS is only 2 so i have the time to do it. Hard decision.to make tho cos i feel like committing to it is a bit like saying im.prob not going to get another bfp for a while.boo hoo. Sorry being a bit me me me Hmm

Haylebop12 · 14/08/2012 20:41

I started training this week, 12 week training programme. Obviously I would say it was a surprise!! But dd is now 3.6 and the gap is just huge!

Jodidi · 14/08/2012 21:32

hayle 3.6 yrs is nothing in terms of age gaps! Dd1 and dd2 are 10yrs 5months apart, so that's a big gap. They love each other like crazy though! (the biggest gap I know is between my mum and her youngest sister, 23 years difference!) so definitely your gap is going to be fine whatever it is, I keep thinking that practically it would be best to have one starting school as new baby arrives, or a month or so before new baby. That gives me another year to persuade dp.

Haylebop12 · 14/08/2012 21:45

True, If I get pg this cycle baby will be may and dd will be 4.3 so because I was 3 I might have next one a little closer. Dd is starting ore school
Sept then reception next sept so that's good. Didn't want one before dd was potty trained and able to play by herself etc.

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 14/08/2012 22:01

Thinking of you chuckle, hope all is well

Haylebop12 · 14/08/2012 22:14

Hope everything goes ok tomorrow cheese
Sending you lots of good wishes!

LittleMissSnowShine · 14/08/2012 22:24

Good luck 2moro cheese

Glad im not the only one in.the training dilemma boat Hayle! The course im thinking about doing does look.like a great cpd opportunity and it would be a great boost to my CV when im done having sprogs and i want to go full time again but its a 12 month.course so keep wondering if it might be a bit crazy while ttc...but might be easier to get it done before i have 2 young kids at same time!

Another silly dilemma - new autumn.clothes in shops. To buy or not to buy? Hoping to have a bump (but would love some new jeans!)

Haylebop12 · 14/08/2012 22:26

I've only just started with this company too :-/
I'm
Waiting on the clothes front but there again I brought a lot if stuff on eBay for last one (and subsequently sold it on there too :-/)

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 14/08/2012 23:10

Chuckle I think the good wishes are for you for tomorrow Wink

Have you ladies been on the pop?Grin or do you all know something I don't?! ConfusedConfusedConfused

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 14/08/2012 23:16

Talking of new clothes, I have been comfort eating so much since the mc, I have gone up a whole dress size Blush that's in about four weeks!! I actually have a pizza bulge in my tummy area. Am thinking of doing weight watchers. Need to programme myself to eat healthily again. And to stop comfort eating. Have quite a bit if stress in my life and food is my release, have also tried to but down drinking haha whilst ttc, so am replacing that with Er, pizza and chocolate.

Not good is it?

Sheldonella · 15/08/2012 06:40

(Very early) morning ladies. I have been awake all night pretty much. Scan is after work today - very nervous.

Chuckle Just wanted to reassure you. My symptoms went away for a week or so but are back now and worse! I feel sick again and boobs are agony.

one The ovulation spotting sounds very useful! Your ttc timeline of the past year looks much like mine.

wilde Sounds like you are making good PhD progress. I would still love to do one, hope I can in a few years and I'm not too old by then!

Hayle The age gap sounds fine. There are 7 years between my two counsins and they are so close.

Hi to everyone else. Will report back tonight.

ChuckleMonster · 15/08/2012 07:49

Thanks for all the well wishes.

glad to hear your symptoms are back sheldon, hope all goes well for you today.

ChuckleMonster · 15/08/2012 07:51

Ps cheese I went up a dress size with pg weight gain and mc comfort food too. I am currently struggling to get into my fat clothes now as well and at 7 weeks I can't really blame being pg Blush

Haylebop12 · 15/08/2012 08:52

Ditto chuckle! Although I'm getting out if it by thinking what's point of dieting if I'm gonna get pg ;-)

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 15/08/2012 09:04

Sheldonella great news re you feeling sick! Chuckle and Sheldonella do report back. (annoyed that I will be away from a computer all day)

Now. Ommmmmmmmm.

Ommmmmmmm.

Ommm... ffs. So I had the ov spotting and that raised my hopes a bit. Now it only turns out that whereas in previous months my opks have had a slow lead up of several days before showing a positive, this month I had faint lines yesterday and today and strong positive (and a day earlier than previosu months). It's as if my body is trying to catch me out again, just when I thought I could be all calm. Ommmmmffsffsffsffsffsffsommmmm.

(Sorry, have only skim read, will catch up soon.)

ChuckleMonster · 15/08/2012 13:12

Relief here today. MW sent us straight to EPU who scanned me and all looked well. Baby with heart beat measuring 8+1. They said they couldnt explain loss of symptoms / diarrhea but to enjoy not feeling poo and try to relax. Had a McDonalds to celebrate. Still think I wont be able to relax until this baby is eighteen born but am trying my best!!

Take it you are going to get some action tonight then one?! Sorry you didnt get your nice build up but at least you can keep your body in check by monitoring it!

Off for a lie down in a dark room to maximise chances of relaxing!!!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 15/08/2012 13:46

Aha, an unexpected moment on a computer!

Phew Chuckle, will do a celebratory dance in the hall when no one's looking!!!!

And I took the quick lead up to the clear opk as a good sign, but I probably didn't convey that it my post as it threw me out of my new found balance.

LittleMissSnowShine · 15/08/2012 13:54

Glad u got good news chuckle, hope that's a sticky bean in there and that you start feeling like poo again soon (??) lol

Yes, i'm with u ladies who have gone up a dress size! I was in my size 12s quite comfortably before i got pg but baby didn't stop developing til about 8.5 weeks so i had a bit of bloat going on and it's going to be a pain to shift it. and it's hard to feel motivated about doing it esp if (hopefully) just going to get pg again soon. just going to wear spanx, go back to zumba on monday and try to not think about it too much - enough to worry about but i'd love a flat tummy again

icequeenkate · 15/08/2012 15:43

chuckle - that's great news. Don't know if you remember when I went for that private scan at 8 ish weeks, the mw scanning me mentioned that crucial time of 7+3 - 7+6 weeks or so when often the placenta doesn't take over from the yolk sac, hence many mcs occurring at this stage even if undetected. Am really really pleased for you. and secretly thrilled that you too head off for MacDs Grin

icequeenkate · 15/08/2012 16:04

To clarify message below because I have an addled brain and forgot to type before, and have re-read my post Blush thinking I didn't say it very well at all: it is great news that you and your bean have successfully negotiated that stage! Grin

Did anyone else hear the piece on news this morning that today is the day parents wish the holidays were over and school was back? Personally I was at that stage at least a week ago...Wink

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 15/08/2012 16:18

Just checked where I am in cycle. If AF hasn't arrived by end of weekend will be officially excited,

although I got excited yesterday when I couldn't finish my cup of tea, but that was because in hindsight it was disgusting, not because I was pregnant Grin
