wow, you're the early bird.

How are you preparing? Are you well topped up with folic acid and getting everything in your life in order before (fingers crossed) the pregnancy progresses.

I'm planning start to ttc in mid/late march. Imagine if things went according to plan it would be a christmas baby. Would that be magical or what? Very exciting.

Hi westerngirl the april thread is a bit of a mistake. It was a long day for me yesterday!
We are all on the march thread come on over, there is also a chat thread too which is also very friendly but sees more action in the daytime.
There is usually someone around to chat/ moan at or get sympathy from. We are all in diffeent positions trying for 1st, 2nd and 4th babies. The last two threads have been very supportive someone will know how you are feeling AND we have had three BFPs on the Feb thread!

I have wanted a positive March, February, January, December.............. but only now decided to join a thread about it!
Let's hope its a lucky one eh?!
me and dh 34 and we've been TTC since June 05 and getting a little bit fed up every now and again - like most I guess.

Can I join too? We've been TTC no 2 since Feb, although having posted a question on here about my very long cycles (42 days), I'm starting to doubt whether it will happen naturally.... can always hope though! Lots of good luck vibes to everyone else - here's hoping for a heap of BFPs in April x

welcom pinkpip100 and coggy :).

Pinkpip100 it sounds as if you are having a rough time there with long cycles. Have you been to see your gp? he/she may be able to refer you to a fertility expert to see why your cycles are so long. Although if you're having problems with ovulation it may not be possible to achieve a pregnancy totally naturally, there are drugs that can be prescribed to assist ovulation and these may work for you without you having to go down the route of invasive ways to conceive a child. Don't give up hope :).

Coggy you are not alone in waiting for a while to conceive. We've been ttc since May and so I understand the fedupness only too well. I have actually reached a stage now where we're not actively trying but just bd on a regular basis in the hope that we will conceive. It took me 13 months to conceive my DS who is now 3.4, so long time taken to conceive doesn't necessarily mean you won't conceive.

Thanks wannabe1974. I haven't spoken to GP yet as I thought she might tell me to leave it until we'd been trying a bit longer. May have a chat with her though, especially as I have a history of polycystic ovaries.

Wannabe - I have also decided this month that all the testing and stuff can go out of the window for a couple of months. It gets a bit heavy after a while doesn't it?
Thank you for your encouragment. We actually took almost 5 years to get pregant the first time (which is why I am DESPERATELY trying not to get stressed about it this time). It's just soooooooooo frustrating.
I seem to wait and wait before doing a pg test and then do one and lo and behold half an hour later af arrives!!! Why is that?!!
I think someones having a laugh!!
Reading through all these threads - clearblue must be rubbing their hands with glee!!
Oh well....still won't stop me from doing another I suppose! :)

Been ttc since 2002 on clomid at the mo 4th cycle. just waiting for the dreaded af next week as do not feel it has worked this month. lets hope april will be a good month for everyone. trying to remain positive but think i am getting too stressed about it all cant put it out of my mind. just need a big holiday to take my mind off things.
Am going to try eve primrose oil next month as have heard this can help
