My DH best friend...2nd child (20 mth gap). Only good thing is DH is now totally ready and steamed up for DTD this week lol

Nicola do you think you will be able to wait to test at the weekend? I'm confused, are you saying AF is now due Wednesday so these could be AF cramps?

No, just that as my cycle is actually due Weds, I'm now on a 28 day cycle.

I get cramps literally as I start to bleed, hence expecting AF to appear today, what with the strength of the cramps. They've calmed a bit now though.

And it moved my ovulation day too...stuff like that.

I may test tomorrow now. No willpower.

dulcet you made me laugh! That's what I was going to advise! nicola THREE STICKS ARE NOT ENOUGH! I had like period cramps and lower back pain couple of days before my af was due and I thought that I'm out and then I got my bfp! And someone at the beginning of this thread said that there has been many people who had period cramps of the period what never came. if that makes sense! When were you originally expected your af to come?

I am due AF on Weds, but never cramp in the lead up. And today's cramps were like the worst cramps I ever get when I'm at my heaviest flow. Odd!

Just trying to stay calm and remain cautious right now.

I realised today that what I thought was a +ve OPK wasn't actually a +ve! So on with the DTD! We've DTD CD 13,15 and 16 so far and expecting to ov next Friday ish so agggeess before I can test yet!!

Ugh I'm so confused. My friend made me feel her bump (literally grabbed my hand!) and it felt rock hard. It felt just like my stomach. Why is my stomach so hard and bloated? Surely my stomach wouldn't be hard from not having AF? I might buy a test and join you tomorrow hah :)

OK new plan for me...now on high fertility alert (earlier then normal) so will start EOD DTD tonight! Told DH of new plan and he's like right let's do it now...Urr no, cannot be late for work again :)

Question: Has anyone read that OpK sticks can pick up pregnancy? I still feel pregnant lol

Nicola forgot to say don't give up yet! Read last night that someone got their BFP at 4 week wait! Crazy!

I've heard you can Newbie, so if that's your only stick, then wee away!

And I'm officially out and onto cycle 3...ERTD made an appearance after a 26 day cycle. Bit short, but better than long. And the good thing is that short cycles now mean I should be fertile on my honeymoon rather than taking AF with me! :-)

If I keep to 26 day cycles, I should ovulate on the first day of the honeymoon. If it is 28, it'll be towards the end of it. Works fine for me!

Such a short cycle though, my last one was around 39 days so almost a fortnight longer than yours! Still crap though!

I'm fine...actually quite excited about the potential of a genuine honeymoon baby! :-)

And at least I'm having relatively normal cycles after almost 2 decades on hormonal birth control. My body deserves a pat on the back!
