So here is another thread. Good luck everyone! baby dust everywhere!

Pop I think I've confused myself to be honest! Looking at it again I think she was on her 2nd cycle. I am now on Cd 62, and because I've had no periods but know when I ovulated I can work out that I've just started cycle 3 this week. If Nut was 8 days behind me I guess that would mean she got her BFP in cycle 2. Does that now make sense? Hope so!

NutBiscuit · 14/07/2012 23:30

Yes, Monday would be the start of cycle 3 if i'd had 2 28 day cycles. so it seems i ovulated in cycle 2 without having had af

Newbie2 · 15/07/2012 08:42

Nut thank you for posting that info. Lately I've been feeling abnormal and concerned that AF hasn't turned up. It's nice to hear that someone else has experienced the same and got their BFP :)

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 08:53

Neither Nut or Maclairey had an AF after the withdrawal bleed.

Seems a nice way to do it as AF is just nasty!

NutBiscuit · 15/07/2012 09:23

I think it's actually quite common to go a long time without af when you come off the pill. the problem is that you then have no idea when you're due to ovulate, unless you pee on ovulation sticks every day for 8 weeks! I had DH on a rigid schedule of DTD every other day for the full 8 weeks Smile. Took dedication but it seemed to work Smile

DulcetMoans · 15/07/2012 09:27

Jeez, that is hardcore nut. Well done! We did a week and a half of every day or eod before we were knackered. If its not worked this month though I am showing no mercy! Haha!

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 09:27

Holy shit nut...that is dedication and you bloody deserve a medal along with your BFP!!

I'm one of the 'lucky' ones who seems to have gone straight into a normal cycle...though this week is the test of that. If I'm not pregnant, I'm hoping it'll be a 28 day cycle this time. Like the old days, ha ha!

Newbie2 · 15/07/2012 09:29

Nicola yes it does sound a nice way to achieve a BfP! It is causing me a lot more then I've ever experienced of bloating though so I'm not completely Scott free :)

Goodness I do hope cycle 3 is lucky! You ladies are fab but I'm not sure I could keep sain with the newbies on cycle 1 asking about the best OV sticks all the time. Seems like the no1 question :) wish I could start a thread for advanced TTC

Newbie2 · 15/07/2012 09:32

Nut I am speechless! Ha no wonder you got a BFP! My DH would know way keep that up. I could but he would cave in early!

Newbie2 · 15/07/2012 09:33

Actually I don't think I could have kept that up! You're hardcore Nut

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 09:45

I couldn't have done that either...and H2B would have needed LOADS of persuading. :-)

DulcetMoans · 15/07/2012 09:53

Might be what we have to do though! Haha! Seems to have worked. My book does say one of the biggest problems is DTD that isn't frequent enough.

You're going to try hold out until Thursday then I saw nicola? That's gonna be tough!!

letsdothisthing · 15/07/2012 09:54

Morning all - congrats to nut but sorry about BFN's .. Still early days though!

Starting to get a bit confused with it now ... Im on CD16 today - based on what i know of my long cycle before i started analysing everything like a mad woman I ov quite late, around CD20, so to be on safe side we DTD on CD13 and CD15 in case I ov'd early

Well..POAS (OPK) on CD11 which was -ve (as expected) then again yesterday on CD15 which was +ve!! Was quite suprised as not really feeling like its ov time, i did have a slight cramping yesterday or did i imagine it but haven't got the Ewcm yet so going to DTD later and carry on just incase! Will POAS again today just to see what's going on ... Sorry for the waffle!! Just don't want to miss the boat this month and then set us back another month without even trying at the right time! How much easier would this be if someone could just tell you when you ov :o

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 10:25

Yeah, Dulcet...no point POAS like a mad woman every day (though that is what I am!). I only have 3 cheapie tests left, so need to make them last. I got past the FMU challenge this morning, so only another 4 mornings to get past.

Still veering towards 'not pregnant' in my head today, which I suppose is best as I don't want to be convinced I am and then have a huge fall.

And I know, lets...thing is, we can DTD at the right time as much as we like, it STILL doesn't necessarily equate to a BFP. So difficult :-(

letsdothisthing · 15/07/2012 10:36

Yeah true! It just takes a bloody miracle :o well done for resisting the urge to POAS this morning! 1 down 4 to go!

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 10:39

I'm rather proud of myself! :-) And the good thing is that I don't really have time on a work morning to faff about with PIATH and dunking tiny sticks!

And it does take a miracle. Though more so for some than others, who get pregnant by being in the same room as their bloke! (Like all of my cousins :-/)

DulcetMoans · 15/07/2012 11:27

I should do what you are doing but I might do a sneaky one in the morning! Good tactic to not have too many in the house. I must have about 10 about the place!!

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 12:13

Willpower goes out of the window, doesn't it?!

Hopefully I'll be too tired every morning to remember that I could PIATH too :-)

DulcetMoans · 15/07/2012 12:15

It really does! Although I am on the 'not pregnant' side. Have been most the week. Just dont feel anything to make me think i could be. Looking towards next cycle already, with the cb sticks. Hopefully give us more of a chance!

Good luck with your willpower!

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 12:18

I sway between hope and no hope! If I hadn't had what could have potentially been implantation bleeding this week I'd definitely be less hopeful. Bloody body playing tricks, no doubt.

I'm not sure I'm going to do the CB thing now, simply because we only have a 2 shelf fridge, which can get really full, so I just don't have room for wee in there!

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 16:10

God...I am suffering such bad cramping today. Every time I go to the loo I'm convinced there will be a LOT of blood as I only ever cramp from the moment I start AF through to a couple of days after. Nothing, though.

Have also felt a bit sick too, but that seems to have passed for now.

I actually hate my body right now. :-/

Popinda · 15/07/2012 18:38

nicola I think is time to test! Grin

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 18:39

I got a BFN yesterday, so want to wait!

DulcetMoans · 15/07/2012 19:39

Is this a bit early for an af cramp nicola or normal for you?

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 19:49

Really early...normally cramp at the exact moment I start to bleed.

Reading another thread about what counts as CD1, I actually had a 28 day cycle, as my first AF after the pill started at 9pm, which changes a few things. Like I'm now due on Wednesday!
