So here is another thread. Good luck everyone! baby dust everywhere!

Newbie hubby did cheer me up, he knows me too well and got it out of me what was wrong and then we had a good chat. I think he feels as disappointed as me but tries not to show it. It's taken him a while to get his head around having a baby but now he has he's as excited as me

I feel better about it today though and just going to take each day as if comes and try not to get my hopes up. Think that's the only way I'm going to stop myself going mad.

I know people still have periods so don't know they are pregnant, but would imagine they only have light periods, there's no way I could be pregnant with the periods I have!

I think I'm trying to be more philosophical too. Otherwise I'd go insane.

My spotting continues. It can't be ovulation bleed now. Apparently it can indicate hormonal issues. But Google isn't always the best place to hunt for info without scaring yourself!!

Nicola Hope the spotting stops really soon! They do say spotting is a side effect of coming of the pill? Don't they? I thought they did.

Morning all! Off to a wedding today but my theory is ov this weekend so have to fit DTD in somewhere.

There's a thread somewhere from this week about people who didn't know they were pregnant. One lady went to hospital with appendicitis and left with a baby! Imagine the shock!

Sorry people been feeling down by sounds of it. We will all get there eventually and in the meantime, we have each other to moan to!

Wish I was off to a wedding! Got a 2 year olds birthday party today and baby shower tomorrow...wish me luck!

The good old hormonal chin spots are creeping back...deffinately a sign AF is on its way!

Sounds like the worst kind of weekend for somebody TTC, Newbie :-/ Hope you get through it with your sanity intact.

I've decided that I hate hormones. Much prefer the blandness of hormonal activity of the injection!

On the plus side of stopping hormonal BC - I have lost weight without trying!!

I survived!!! Was only asked 5x when is it your turn? When are you joining the baby club? and doesn't that look suit you (while giving friends baby a cuddle) uuuuhhhh!!!! I so wanted to reply with 'well even though I've only been married for two months I am soooo desperate to have a baby, probably more desperate then anyone you've met' but resisted and kept quiet :(

Newbie you should just say it to see the look on their face and the awkward silence :D

My friend (with the baby) was nice about it and said she got loads of flack from people when our other friend has just had a baby (I figured she must have been trying at that point too). I guess everyone gets the comments...it's never nice though

I got them just after we got married as well. No-one asks much anymore (except one friend who is just obsessed lol) so either they think we don't want them or can't!

Morning, finally worked out how to not cave in and POAS...don't keep them in the house! I always learn the hard way :)

I keep wondering how long I'll last. Though I'm convinced I'm not going to be successful, so that may help me abstain.

I don't keep any in the house either newbie although haven't got rid of my poaos obsession yet I know I've ov'd but I still keep peeing on them, just in case, although just in case of what I'm not sure!

Lisa luckily my stash of OV sticks dont look so appealing right now...they will soon though if AF arrives!

Nicola if there is a next cycle I'm going to order Preg tests just a few days before AF is due to arrive. My new cost saving plan :)

You girls are going to have to be more controlled if CB start sending you sticks. You don't want to have to confess your addiction to them

I think the antibiotics are working! Already experiencing less pain!

The thing is, they give us 20 OV sticks a month, I think! That's just encouraging us to POAS almost all cycle, just for fun!

They also send us pregnancy tests, but not sure how many. But I think we would have to be more restrained with those. We have to log all our tests!

I think we get 2 pregnancy tests.

I survived the wedding too, although feeling the effects of the wine this morning. And I only got one 'when you getting married then?' so all round really. Had a great time!

Now on with the TTC although not DTD this weekend yet. There was a failed attempt yesterday, missed the vital part!!

Ooh...wine hangovers hurt!

Shame about the DTD. I think you should get an afternoon session in today. All in the name of recovery! :-)

nicola not sure how many pg tests they give us but whatever the give us doesn't stop us buying cheapie ones and poas

I'm hoping I can teach myself to wait until it's worth testing though. We shall see.
