Hello! Newbie here, haven't got a clue what all the abbreviations mean on here so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it!

Hubby and I decided at the weekend to try for our first child......eek!

I THINK I'm ovulating now (I get pains and according to my lady timer iPhone app I am!!) so we DTD (guessed that one as did the deed- am I right??) Saturday and tonight.

Anyway I hope some of you can help me along the way.....you all seem to know what you are talking about so I hope I'm in good hands ; )

Well we were coordinating DTD too! Haha. I get up at 6.30 but I'd rather keep my half hour actually.

We were until my H2B got stage fright! Ah well, got it sorted last night and hopeful I may DTD again tonight...fx!

Thanks...I have been off the pill since last september too but I'm not expecting things to happen too quickly, these things take time apparently!

Got to be honest I have never watched any of OBEM, think I need to start tuning in!

Don't fall into the testing too early pit. That's my advice from now on :)

Right, risking no DTD tonight. Both so tired! But prepare for me to blame this night if we don't get pg this month!

We didn't DTD either...the night before's swimmers should still be about and I didn't want to force the issue with H2B! I may try tonight, although I'm not sure it's not too late now. Still got a touch of spotting though. I'll think it's something to worry about if it continues, though technically we're not at 48 hours of it yet as it started about 4pm!

But what we did do in bed is snuggle and have a laugh together. It was nice, and well-needed :-)

Well spotted, lets, let's hope Maclairey's pessimism is unfounded.

And that is my plan for tonight. Last night was lovely, like when we first got together. I rented a room then, and my landlady said all she could hear was us laughing all the time!

And because of his family, I worry that he's dreading the wedding, but last night the Proclaimers were played over something on the TV, and

Mclairey don't leave for Cyprus without telling us the results!!!!

...I went ooh and looked at the laptop (we can choose songs for the wedding online with our DJ). He instantly said, 'Don't worry, it will be played', with a big grin. Bless him. His family are tearing him apart. Utter selfish twats. :-(

Morning all. Sorry to disappoint but not testing until tomorrow as that's when I am off to Cyprus.

On another note...dtd last night and afterwards I went to the loo and there was a tiny brown clot. I assumed that AF might be on her way but this morning, nothing! I also had a little tiny clot after ov which I presumed was ov bleed. Never had any of this before so who knows. 12dpo. How I managed not to test this morning I will never know.

Bless him, was probably just what you needed! Weddings can be sooo stressful, have a friend going through some problems with the future inlaws at the moment! When is your big day?

Hi maclairey - that's my fault - think I've actually lost the plot now, I'd convinced myself it was the 6th today, as I'm on cd6, and its so close to the actual date lol anyway can't believe you're being so good and not testing- will keep my fx for you for tomorrow :)

It's October 13th, lets, so coming round quickly! I cannot tell you how angry I am at his family. His dad is one of the nastiest men I've ever had the misfortune to meet. :-/ I don't want his name, particularly, but can't upset Bri by not taking it.

I know hopefully I do better with the dates of ov lol or I'll be on these threads forever!!! Not long to wait for the wedding then - hope there's no dramas for you in the run up! You can't please everyone, that's what I kept telling myself :)

Weddings bring out the worst in families for some reason! Everyone seems to have an opinion on everything! Do what I did and don't tell them anything or the very bare minimum!

Cd 20 for me today, got a 7 days til af due notification on app this morning please let her stay away!!
