Welcome to the 2.30 from Mumsnet Towers. The fillies have been groomed to within an inch of their lives and are raring to go.

Late entries for the race are required to locate and fill in the BESHtionnaire so that their form can be assessed.

Bring on the stallions!

Morning norf. Why up so early?

Am v proud - when for a horrible run last evening, but now feel suitably jelly legged and virtuos.

Only cd 63 here, miscounted at my last cycle-watch update.. Blush. Still not heard any thing from hospital. When I rang last week the lady said ring back if. Heard nothing. Does a cancellation letter count as something? (something to menkul about in absence of 2ww)

Northey · 27/06/2012 07:40

I'm a hopelessly early riser, sink.

CD63?? Is this appointment your first, to start considering what to do?

HaveALittleFaith · 27/06/2012 08:30

Does this mean I'm still on the running with my guess/bet?!

I would ring again. Look at me when I pushed got an appt a week later. Make a nuisance of yourself til they get you sorted to shut you up

Worst of droid is over (CD1 always bad) and the cramps are ok when I'm taking 30mg codiene anyway! Could just put head on desk and sleeeeeep.....

eurochick · 27/06/2012 11:36

Morning BESH. I am properly mizz this morning. I am more Eeyore like than Fury today. I fvking hate these drugs. I fvking hate this process.

FriendofDorothy · 27/06/2012 11:42

I am at a conference about attachment theory. Who knew there were so many ways to fuck children up?!

Poor euro. An it's awful dealing with it all at work as well. I wish I knew what to suggest. Can you get away early and cry like a loon on the tube?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 27/06/2012 15:39

Sorry you feel so crap euro. Much sympathy. Any chance of an early finish?

dor, I had to walk past a gaggle of 5 heavily pregnant women smoking at the hospital entrance this morning. I gave them a stern stare then ran away. I really don't like the feeling I get that I deserve a baby more than them. Bad thoughts.

norf- this is me waiting to go to a different unit, I've exhausted all the previous had to offer. Irritatingly the clomid plus drilling seemed to have me on a regular, if long cycle. This was to be my last clomid cycle anyway, but seem to have got stuck. Have a supply of Provera, but it seems a little pointless, so going to stick it out till the clinic.

faife, think I will ring, if I can find a private corner..

HaveALittleFaith · 27/06/2012 19:35

Sorry to hear you're feeling pants euro no advice really just sympathy. Hmm misspelt that and it came up as sunbathe, sunbathing might help?!

sinky I totally sometimes feel like that. Almost worse being a Christian and believing everything is part of a big plan - why do people like that get diffed and often without trying or wanting to? When likes of us want to get diffed and could provide a stable home and don't?! may be struggling with my faith a bit

Well my cleaning mission continues on with the living room. I do feel better about that side of things!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 27/06/2012 20:03

faife, I'm an atheist through and through, but have a couple of really good friends, one being catholic (Spanish catholic no less) and the other church of Scotland. Both are gay. And that threw up a massive can of worms, with all the extra levels of acceptance they had to work through. Both v happy now however, and both still have their faith.

In my very non-religious brain, is that a similar situation? You know what you are/ you are going through, and just can't reconcile that with the deity you thought you knew?

HaveALittleFaith · 27/06/2012 20:12

Yes it kind of is although I would see our circumstances as transient obviously sexuality isn't! I'm frustrated that we've been finally stable for a while, desperately want a baybee yet every time we get over a crisis - sometimes not even before! - another one comes along. MSB is wondering if God's really there, I just feel like He's not interested in us! Confused I know we'll get through it, it's just wondering how much we can take?!
I actually work with a chaplain who is a Cannon at the cathedral and is gay and lives with his partner. I often wonder how the church reacted to it - he was married and has children.
Oh wow, I am watching Supersize vs Superskinny. Make me feel a bit better - I can't wait to be well enough to exercise again!.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 27/06/2012 20:14

I'm watching it too, but also eating chow mein...

HaveALittleFaith · 27/06/2012 20:28

I'm still doing Paul McKenna. Only eat half my pizza! Cut off a quarter for breakfast before it got to my plate too! :) he's influencing my brain. There's a bit on the CD that says your mind is becoming open to my suggestions Hmm! I'll be interested to weigh myself when the droid has left town! Mmm chow mein...we rarely eat stuff like that, MSB isn't a fan and it tends to upset my digestive system. Shame cos I really liked it!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 27/06/2012 20:32

Not sure I agree with all the anti-tea chat on supersize/skinny!

HaveALittleFaith · 27/06/2012 20:36

Mmm I luff tea. Try to restrict myself to 3 a day!

alwyn · 27/06/2012 20:48

I luff tea and don't worry about restricting it!!

HaveALittleFaith · 27/06/2012 20:51

It's so that when I'm diffed I won't be traumatised by how much I'd have to cut down. To be fair, the woman on Supersize is drinking 12 sugary teas a day!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 27/06/2012 21:01

Just making a cuppa now. I have a secret stash of decaf tea, which is ok-ish, for that potential diffage, and also when I'm at home all day and can easily get through 6+ before midday

Brew
alwyn · 27/06/2012 21:10

I will possibly think about decaf again when I'm diffed, but not fussed for now (and have a massive bag in the cupboard to drink).

I didn't really notice the difference, TBH.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 27/06/2012 21:39

Ditto. I honestly think I'm immune to caffeine, or at least the caffeine in tea.

The result of years of hard drinking tea-training.

HaveALittleFaith · 27/06/2012 22:03

D'you know I only started drinking tea at about 15? Before that it was hot Ribena all the way! Blush I like my tea really strong which is why I find decaf a bit lacking. I try to have red bush or peppermint at times for variation.

alwyn · 27/06/2012 22:03

It's been a long process, but I would say I'm probably ready for the Tea-Drinking Olympics. I'd deffo have a good chance of getting in the squad.

ShredniVashtar · 27/06/2012 22:19

Mmmm tea. I only drink about 3 per day, but find myself getting a bit angsty and headachey if I go too long through the day without one. Only takes me one glass of wine to get pished these days, too. Just call me a lightweight.

Buzzwam watch: more normal today. Have been wearing one of my bras from when I was on the pill and boobs were at least a cup size bigger

Sending happy thoughts to eyore's euro's place of gloom Smile

Northey · 27/06/2012 23:16

Extra handful of oats for euro.

Spent all of today in a training course. Ho hum. No new buzzwam news.

CaveMum · 28/06/2012 00:05

[staggers in sideways, shoes in hand]

Evening BESH, how you feeling this evening [checks watch], morning euro?

Faif, I know what you mean about, er, faith. My mum is a JW, and while I've never been brought up JW she did talk to us about God, etc and I always believed in a higher power as a teenGer, but these days, like you say, it feels harder and harder to believe in anything when you believe you lead a good and honest life but don't seem to get anywhere.

[drunken ramble over]

[leaves half finished bottle of gin in the tack room before passing out face down in the hay barn]
