Welcome to the 2.30 from Mumsnet Towers. The fillies have been groomed to within an inch of their lives and are raring to go.

Late entries for the race are required to locate and fill in the BESHtionnaire so that their form can be assessed.

Bring on the stallions!

I'm watching Casino Royale with the cat. HWHNN has gone back to base as he flies off for a work thing tomorrow morning. I won't see him again until 3rd August (CD 20) so just watch me ovulate on a "normal" day now Hmm Angry

When we found out he was going for such a long time I stopped taking the left over Clomid, so I've still got some left for the ne t cycle if need be.

Good idea to save the clomid cavester.

I am feeling rather bleurgh. Didn't get up in time for church. MSB has agreed to come for a walk with me in a min which is good. I'm glad it's Sunday, I wouldn't want to work in this mood.

On a cheerful note, I have started a chat thread that might be taking off - chip in! its here

HaveALittleFaith · 22/07/2012 21:29

Crikey, do the BESH go into hiding when the sun comes out?!

We went for the walk (about 5.5k) and I got a bit of gardening done. Think I've caught the sun! BBQ tea (mmm kebabs) and we've just watch The Inbetweeners movie again Worst of the droid has passed now thank goodness.

What have you lot been up to?

CaveMum · 22/07/2012 21:37

I've been checking in through the day to see if anyone's about but didn't post as I suspected I'd be chatting to myself!

Today I have worked out on my Wii, weeded the flower beds, striped round the edges of the lawn and generally pottered around the house. HWHNN flew at 10.30 this morning so should be arriving at his destination fairly soon.

Really hope this weather holds out - I've been in shorts all day! [scaring the neighbourhood with my pasty white legs]

CaveMum · 22/07/2012 21:39

I have strimmed round the edge of the lawn.

Striping would, I suspect, leave the neighbours in need of therapy Grin

Stripy lawns. Interesting! I really hope it holds out too. We go camping from Saturday!

Northey · 23/07/2012 05:56

A crappy night's sleep :( Too hot and airless. And full of weird dreams whenever I did get some sleep. And I miss AMNH, though frankly he would be an unattractive bed partner in such heat anyway. And I don't want to go back to work today.

FriendofDorothy · 23/07/2012 05:58

I have been woken up early by the idiot cat. hot here too tho.

Northey · 23/07/2012 06:57

First proper day back today. Am trying not to fret over blackberry on the train, and instead admire the fields and think tranquil thoughts.

HaveALittleFaith · 23/07/2012 07:04

I don't want to go in either norf. Work is in turmoil and I'd rather just not be there!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 23/07/2012 07:28

Sorry about the bad nights of sleep and the stressful days at work. As everybody is on holidays, I am working from home. And we decided to take an impromptu day off tomorrow or Wednesday because it is SUNNY.

Sorry about my absence yesterday, I went for a swim (YAY first since broken bones, still sore, how unfair is that!?!?) and an hour cycle ride. In between we had a friend for brunch, who was treated to massive amounts of lovely food. And I have rediscovered crochet, which combines badly with MN-ing in the everning.

I did wake up at 5am though, and then SB proceeded to get up at early o'clock as well, although he gets bonus points for making fresh OJ and things.

Some bad stuff happening as well, just to make sure you don't think everything is perfect in the lemon-household. We went to IKEA, although we didn't fall out we came home with precisely nothing we needed. And the dishwasher packed it, after aforementioned extensive brunch - not good. and at risk of TMI I am very windy, which freaks me out, since it is the only clear side-effect I have from the hcg trigger shot, which I didn't have this month

LauraPalmer · 23/07/2012 08:40

I just woke up from a dream during which I met Cavelina - and you were making a life-size wall hanging of Frankel! You were really lovely (and also TOWIE tan...Hmm )

Sun sun sun has been amazing...visiting inlaws has included a little stress (going out on the sailboat has saved us).

Sorry for a wham-bam-thankyou-m'am post without proper hellos, but running off to a MW appointment.

Hope everyone is having a happy Monday!

KickTheGuru · 23/07/2012 10:32

I am home today as well. Well, I will be until I get a proper job. Have another second interview tomorrow and need to do a presentation. Goodie.

We're back on the TTC wagon end of August - unless my levels haven't managed to drop like a measly 3 points in 6 weeks (would be doubtful). It would make me slightly on the higher side but it also means that I get an extra month in. I don't really care what anyone says - I went out on Friday night and we walked (fast - because we missed the boat - long story) for an hour, then I had some whiskey and a two course Thai food and managed to keep my sugar under 7.8 the whole night. So BLEURGH to control!!!

My husband said that's what happens when you give something that needs controlling to me. He then did a weird Michael Jackson dance move and an "awh" but I got his meaning... Grin

How are we all?

CaveMum · 23/07/2012 11:24

Grin @ LP. I am luffly, but defo no TOWIE tan. I'm saying nothing about the Frankel wall-hanging Wink

Are you lot out again???!

I'm feeling very pleased with myself, I've worked out twice today - Shred DVD this morning then a run on my Wii after work. I'm going to ruin it all by eating ice cream this evening to cool down!

In all seriousness, I'm trying to use these 2 weeks that HWHNN is away and the lovely weather as motivation to tone up my body. Plus getting fitter can only be good for my baybee making chances, right?

CaveMum · 23/07/2012 19:38

Hello?!

[echoes]

HaveALittleFaith · 23/07/2012 19:39

Well in essence cavey, yes! I worked late (outpatients clinic(, popped to supermarket and had tea. Cleaned the kitchen - that's cardio, right?! Once dinner has settled (and painkillers kick in) I'm off out for a walk.

Droid/Druid still lurking at the mo - heaviest I've had for a while! - but reckon we'll be back on it soon, especially since I've got more energy now I'm walking :)

Happy anniversary bugs!

HaveALittleFaith · 23/07/2012 19:40

Oh and yes getting fitter will definitely win us all baybees. Project BMI baybee! Whoop!

Northey · 23/07/2012 19:49

I have been working hard all day! Apart from the 15 minutes I spent In front of the mirror in the disabled loos, practising telling in laws of my (so far mythical) pregnancy.

Project BMI baybee a go go here. I have walked for three hours and avoided snacking on any crap at all. And booked a riding lesson for tomorrow.

eurochick · 23/07/2012 20:08

Evening BESH (and the odd PESH who is still around). I survived the Christening weekend. I'm glad I didn't do it on the IVF 2ww, tbh. Lots of babies (of course) plus hanging out with a preggo might all have been too much. At least I could have wine to help me through. The only bit that got to me a bit was last night when we were out for drinks with the couple we went up with (preggo) and the parents of the christened baby. At one point the conversation split into girls and boys and the other two women were chatting about pregnancy. And I realised I wasn't part of that conversation at all. I ended up chatting to the blokes instead. On the way back and KFZK commented that he feels that they've all moved on whilst we are left behind. It's true - and we're a year or so older than all of them too.

But it was generally a nice weekend - time with friends, lovely countryside and a chance to bomb about some fantastic roads in my pocket rocket. Grin

Northey · 23/07/2012 20:58

I hate the "they've moved on" feeling. Ugh. I'm glad that overall it was bearable, though.

When is your next meeting with the foof doctor?

KickTheGuru · 23/07/2012 21:35

Northey - what was their reaction to the (mythical) pregnancy.

I did the same thing walking back from the shops. My in-laws got very angry with me for befouling their son, my mother started crying - but my brother was happy for me Grin

HaveALittleFaith · 23/07/2012 21:41

I've stopped practising :(

I feel like that about some people too euro. Two of my old friends from college have babies about 6 months apart - they never really had anything in common at 6th form but now they're best buds and go to baby stuff weekly and meet for coffee fortnightly. They are both very 'Mummy-ish' and I feel I have little to say to either of them. Some people I don't imagine may invite us to more stuff if/when we have a baybee. Almost waiting in the wings. Might be able to tag in with their second

I have done a walk tonight of about 6k need a shower now!

eurochick · 23/07/2012 21:48

Well done on the exercise, wedding dress purchasing and droid kicking ladies. Just been catching up with fred.

Norfy gynae is in 10 days to discuss what happens with my abnormal cells. We've got no more fertility appointments lined up now. I have one IUI in my back pocket, already paid for, and we could presumably resume our NHS IVF cycle once I get a clear smear (although I think it is unlikely that we will ever want to given what happened last time). And we need to decide what additional tests we get with Gorgy. I still have no signs of ovulation and no cycle to speak of, which is getting a bit old now. I want to know that everything is getting back to working order after the drugs of evilness.

Northey · 23/07/2012 21:49

Amazing, fee! Walking briskly (from shade to shade) or ambling in the sun?

They were delighted and supportive, gnu :) Such nice people!
