You are all braver than me. 23 weeks. Total purchases zero. But I have discussed names. Get me.

StateofConfusion · 27/06/2012 08:11

Ooh get you midge our names discussion got as far as 3yo dd saying, "we are calling it super rabbit".

MrsPear · 27/06/2012 09:03

Good morning everyone.

I glad i am not the only blanket buyer! Names are sorted if it is a girl as we had a ds last time! Buggerlugs i am glad your scan went well. Pebs hope you are feeling OK after your op. Day one of potty training today. 2 accidents(one on lap) and 3 potty trips. Not too bad i think. Been up since 6. Is it too early for chocolate?!

StateofConfusion · 27/06/2012 09:37

good luck potty training, I have to say I am daunted by all the 'stuff' I'm slowly realising I have to do again, my pfb is 5 in just over 2wks! And my 'little one' is 4 in november, I suddenly feel like I'm starting all over again and a bit clueless! Excited still ofc.

Hope your doing ok pebs x

pebspop · 27/06/2012 10:20

i'm back!

the op went well. i was back in work today as i feel fine. no bleeding or pain.

the consultant confirmed i had a heart shaped womb. an epu nurse told me this ages ago but other sonographers/consultants/nurses have said i didn't since. he said it doesn't cause miscarriage. from googling when the epu nurse told me i know dr google says it can cause mc but i am not going to google now and just trust my consultant. lesley regan says it doesn't cause mc in her book so i will believe the experts. the epu nurse also said it wouldn't cause mc but can cause problems later in pg with prem labour but will cross that bridge if i get to it.

i also had a bit of afterbirth from last years late miscarriage in there Shock which may have been causing my constant spotting. they have now took that out.

he said i could ttc straight away!!! yeah!!! i am going on holiday around ov time this month so fingers crossed! if it works first time i could be 6 weeks at my appointment for blood test results - perfect! if it doens't work first time i am no worse off than if i had waited for results.

glad everything was ok bugger

MandaHugNKiss · 27/06/2012 10:34

Haven't back-read, sorry... so, from this page, I say:

midge Get you indeedy! And can I one more week until viability!

state but super-rabbit is a fab name! Bunny for short? Only really works for a DD, mind. Grin

pebs Shock at old, lurking pieces of placenta! Glad it didn't cause a nasty infection. And, must say, that if they're saying your heart shaped uterus doesn't cause an issue, then it makes me smile; a place where a much loved and wanted baby grows is heart shaped? Almost too lovely. I guess a heart shaped uterus might be the very least severe case of a bicornate uterus? Is it missC who has one of those?

pebspop · 27/06/2012 11:28

i think it's just a slight indent at the top of the womb. it sounds like it shouldn't cause a problem with mc's. i will not google though!!

twolittlemonkeys · 27/06/2012 11:47

Congratulations confused :)
Great news about your scans state and bugger
pebspop glad your op went well and you can start ttc straight away!

I'm loving all the positive news on this thread right now :) :) :) (Kind of embarrassed to put a dampener on it but here goes...)

Well I'm on CD31 today, didn't test this morning as I was feeling pretty negative and can do without a BFN making me feel worse. Plus I have no idea when or if I OVd. I don't feel as if the drugs worked this month, which would mean I need to go back to my GP, get another referral to the fertility clinic and ask them to prescribe 200mg Clomid which they may or may not be willing to do. Probably not. I think I will have to accept the fact that I'm never going to be threelittlemonkeys :( Sorry for all the wallowing. Who knows, I might have been lucky this month, but don't feel it right now. I am going to try to hold out til the weekend before I POAS.

wilderumpus · 27/06/2012 11:50

morning!

glad you are getting sorted pebs, sounds great you have some answers already and can ttc :) don't google! google will tell you anything and everything! erk at old placenta but if it stops your spotting that would be such a relief!

yay on buying things for your babies ladies.

good luck potty training mrspear! we are nearly two weeks out of nappies now and it really hasn't been bad at all. Do need another part of your brain solely dedicated to your child's toilet habits switched on at all times though don't you, is knackering but is anothet thing you just get used to. Atm DS loves going for his daily poo when am in the shower so I have to get out and clean him up etc covered in soap! Oh the joys :) (love it really!)

Am a bit sad about AF today but trying to keep my chin up and look to next month. Really thought this was my month and feel tired thinking about going through it all again :( Takes some fortitude this ttc malarky eh.

twolittlemonkeys · 27/06/2012 13:44

wilderumpus I feel the same - tired about thinking about yet another month. All the obsessing is exhausting!

MrsPear · 27/06/2012 14:08

Hello everyone

pebs good news about the op but Shock an old afterbirth. Have a lovely Wink holiday

sorry if i misunderstood but sorry to wilde and two for afs.

state and wilde if i say "do you need a wee" once more i may go mad! Two accidents so far and they were really my doing. Won't wear his pants though; just trousers Confused I don't feel pregnant today - very strange but that is OK right?! 13+3 i think. It is not the blankets thought is it?

StateofConfusion · 27/06/2012 14:14

mrspear I have 'non pregnant' days where I worry, don't panic!

My ds didn't love pants straight away, I trained him in pj bottoms and joggers as they're easy for him to get up and down, and easy for me to wash and dry, plus no chaffing on dangly bits :) sounds like he's started well.

wilderumpus · 27/06/2012 14:26

mrspear after 12 weeks lots of symptoms start to chill out and you will have on off days till you get the kicks, then they make you feel tres preggo of course :) It is not the blankets .

Nah, my poor DS is nekkid from the waist time most of the time he is at home! Makes it easier for him to just wee or whatevs in his own time. Sounds like you doing just dandy!

MrsPear · 27/06/2012 14:31

I spoke too soon another accident poor love looked upset so i gave cuddles despite the wee. See good mum Grin Thanks for the raised brow wilde.

kirrinIsland · 27/06/2012 18:17

great news pebs

Quicksie · 27/06/2012 21:21

StateOfConfusion you made me laugh out loud at Super Rabbit...what a brilliant name! A friend of mine let her daughter name the new baby, but she picked Lucy...not quite as dynamic as Super Rabbit.

Just wanted to say I read the posts on here every day, and it makes me feel so much better.

wilderumpus · 27/06/2012 21:37

two am SO sorry, I just read back through the thread and i posted this morning at the same time as you, but look like I totally ignored you :( I am sorry.

please don't be feeling like you are bringing anyone down or wallowing, you are on clomid, you don't feel like you've made it this month and you feel blue about it - is completely understandable. ttc is really hard work, pyschologically if nothing else.

You will be threelittlemonkeys! you might be right now!

here Brew x

StateofConfusion · 27/06/2012 22:59

Quicksie she is deadly serious, I told her today if its a girl we'Ll call her Lily, she replies, "yes mummy, Lily super rabbit" ds just laughs at her, he's meant to be my sensible one! She sat looking through a catalogue tonight and looked at a baby being bathed for sometime, "I'll wash it ok mummy, you must buy my baby this bath" I explained slowly babies are very small and fragile but she can help get towels and gently wash the tummy etc.

I am in for some interesting times I think.

Well the preggo tiredness is deffinatly hitting here, crashed for 3hrs this afternoon Blush

CheapTarnishedGlitter · 28/06/2012 08:07

Morning all! Hugs for Wilde and Two - it will happen...

Felt a bit stabby in my tum yesterday and told myself it was definitely implantation Blush I can't remember feeling anything last time but it's so easy to convince yourself! Will try to keep fingers crossed but hopes not too high just in case...

Hey bugger, there is a stats thread. It hasn't been updated for ages though. Think you are right. Can't do fancy links on iPhone but here it is:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/1406311-MOSH-PIT-stats-thread

JaffaSnaffle · 28/06/2012 09:16

Urgh, not worked. If you go to the first page of this thread, it is the 2nd post.

wilderumpus · 28/06/2012 11:07

oooh I like lists :) I shall add myself to a list. Oh yes.

I am definitely on CD1! shiny new cycle and this time pregnancy will be MINE! we haven't tried properly yet so this month we are going to do lots of shagging :) I hope... I think DH has a stressy work deadline around ov time so will need to sort of sound him out about his month and manage my expectations from there.

I adore the name super rabbit state!

my heavily preggo friend jibbed out on our pre-baby cake date this morning and I was (secretly) most upset. who turns down cake? I am being unreasonable I know. I think it just resonates because I am suffering with a bastard heavy post-mc AF and she can't come because she is wonderfully about to have a baby... Am a grumpy, selfish sod!

Oh well, I have coffee, m and ms and my work to do instead.

sorry about the whine!

wild i think i may be joining you on cd 1 today. finally i can ttc after mc in march. that has been a long few months.

i am going on holiday at ov time so loads of swi for me!

it could be fate this month as when i started ttc DH wanted us to wait until after his 30th birthday. as i was two years to wait i said no way - guess how old he will be when we go away....

glad i didn't wait as i would never have guessed the amount of problems i was going to have.
