So settle into the mosh pit, we have special VIP area's for those on the 2WW, the new bumps metalling with segregated areas for the first/second/third trimesters and the club class cocktail bar for those who have just got AF and can get-pissed let loose for the first two weeks!

And we have a recently refurbished Mosh Pit Nursery for the graduates IQ Manda and Blue, we are currently running a rota for babysitting so those three can go and get-pissed have some rest! I have done my bit this week so i need the next volunteer!

Hello ladies, do you mind if I lurk along here for a while? I miscarried last week, went for 12 week scan and there was no heartbeat. Opted for medical management, I'm sure you all know how horrible it was. I am still bleeding, have no idea how long this will last, nor when I'll be fertile again. I am due at the hospital for a follow-up appointment on Friday.

I don't know what any of these abbreviations mean - I know dpo and BFP but what are 2WW, BESH, CM, and WTF (thought I knew that one, but doesn't seem right in context)?

I think I might be the last on this thread to get a BFP! am out this month, bfn this morning and due on tomorrow. am ok though, what will be will be and we didn't even try this month, just had the sex at the right time once and ten days of shitty fucking PMT! It will be ok.

hey donkey! so sorry to see you here. But welcome, welcome. I had medical management too but thought it was ok (I was utterly dreading it). Afterwards the whole thing hit me like a train though.

2ww - 2 week wait after ovulation

WTF - what the fuck month - the cycle after your miscarriage (mc)

donkey, I had medical management after my first mc. I bled hard fie 2-3 days, period like bleeding for a further week, and then about 5 days of light bleeding. Unfortunately, I had retained products, so just when I thought it was over, some more bleeding came back. I don't know how common that is. It will be something they will monitor you for though. So sorry you are going through this, it is very tough and sad x

I had the scan follwed by medication on Monday afternoon, was due to go back to hospital on Wednesday morning but it all kicked off Tuesday evening. I had expected bleeding but it was so heavy, to the point where I couldn't leave the bathroom as I was flooding pad after pad. I started to panic as it just wasn't letting up, so DP took me to the hospital and I stayed there the rest of the night.

So, I guess this is my WTF month. I will just have to see how it goes for the next few weeks, after bleeding stops. Hope that's soon.

Congratulations to those with happy news, I hope I'll be joining you before too long!

Thanks Jaffa as well. They scanned me on Weds morning before I left hospital, they didn't think there was any retained product, just a bit of blood. Thanks for the info about bleeding, it is getting less, I'd just like it to clear off and stop now!

my bleeding lasted for about a week but wasn't too bad donkey but I think I was lucky. Sorry to hear it was so worrying for you, sounds awful x

Sore head for me today, still on AF so had a tad too much to drink last night . Completely lost the alcohol tolerance while pg and therefore not drinking and still seem to be affected by it more post mc.

Ms Rumpus - there is still a chance for your BFP, will cross my fingers for you. I fear I may be out this month too - I caved and tested at both 10 and 11 DPO. Both BFN. I've now got lower abdo ache and feel like I'm coming on. I'm staying out tonight and so won't be able to get to my sticks until at least 13 DPO which is a blessing.

This is a new frustration for me - I got pregnant immediately after coming off the pill with my daughter and then too with both miscarriages . We had sex so many bloody times too. Now I'm paranoid there's something wrong down there.

HOWEVER, I am totally with you in being miffed jolly! I got pg while technically still on the pill with DS and concieved 5 days after a random sex sesh! amazing :) Expected to be like that this time but no... Though only properly tried one month once realised we have to put a bit of effort it and did make another bubs that I mc'ed... so think 'yay am fertile!' and expect it to just happen again but obviously need to put effort in again! I just hate SWI though. But then, if you want to create actual LIFE I suppose you have to try a bit?!?!

We will make our babies jolly, never fear.

Welcome to the thread donkey - obviously sorry you are here, but tis a lovely thread and everyone has great advice. I bled for just over a week after my mmc, it was heavy to begin with, but was very light the last few days. I then had a period exactly 28 days after the medical management...

I made an appointment with an obstetrician (got a recommendation as am moving cities the second week of July ) as didn't want to wait too long in case I couldn't get in with him, so its all feeling very very real now.... ....

Thanks everyone :) I am obviously sad about the MC but have one DD already and no reason to think this was anything other than "one of those things". So we'll be trying again soon, but my birthday is next month so I won't mind if I'm not pregnant by then - !!!

I've just been swimming for the first time in ages so I'm retiring to bed. It's our last day at work tomorrow (our office is closing) so I've done nothing but eat cake all day, and tomorrow won't be much better! I really should be cutting down but this doesn't seem like the best week to do it....
