So settle into the mosh pit, we have special VIP area's for those on the 2WW, the new bumps metalling with segregated areas for the first/second/third trimesters and the club class cocktail bar for those who have just got AF and can get-pissed let loose for the first two weeks!

Got everything crossed for you mrspear

Welcome to the mosh pit Pixie

JaffaSnaffle · 12/06/2012 17:51

Oh the wetness (and ensuing madness). we could form a knicker/ cushion sniffers anonymous. I have started changing my knickers a few times a day, so it can't get quite so bad.

MrsPear · 12/06/2012 17:54

jaffa thanking for my first smile

Welcome Pixie sorry you find yourself here but we have been there so we all understand.

Thanks for the messages of support. I keep thinking of my nan .. she is 91 and so excited about having a second great grand child. Oh and the bloody pain is back again Sad

wilderumpus · 12/06/2012 19:42

thanks for your comments state. I am sorry for all you have been through and that the edd was at the weekend. But yay for good times now and in the future :) x

wilderumpus · 12/06/2012 19:43

welcome pixie, and sorry for your mc... and good luck for this month!

CheapTarnishedGlitter · 13/06/2012 05:34

Welcome pixie and saffron - sorry you're joining in but hope it proves to be a helpful place.

Mrs Pears Fingers crossed for your scan - hopefully all will be well

state I'm a bit slow but just wanted to say yay on the pops. That must be so exciting, especially as you're starting to feel more positive

I can't believe how quickly the metalling starts... Spent yesterday feeling really sick in exactly the way I do just before AF comes, but MC was less than two weeks ago. Surely to God I can't have had that quick a cycle?!? There's wtf and there's WTF???? Probably won't feel anything today and it was just a settling thing but my goodness how quickly these things make you stress!

If only someone could invent a cheap to produce and run home scan machine that would tell you exactly what was going on at any given moment...

(Starts putting out some coffee and croissants and begins munching to shut herself up for a bit)

MrsPear · 13/06/2012 07:26

Morning hope all is well

I think it was tom cruise who bought a scanning machine when his wife was expecting! Well today is D-DAY noon i will find out. MCs and AF always start the same for me - cramping for a couple of days then wham! i hope it is nothing i hope i have a nice picture instead of a bloody leaflet. still cramping but no blood. no sleep last night either. Bare with me for news as i don't even own a mobile but i will be back.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 13/06/2012 07:32

Good luck pear. I'll be thinking of you. ((hugs))

Midgetm · 13/06/2012 07:32

Good luck Mrs pear. I've had 2 terrifying bleeds and hideous cramping in this pregnancy and it's been innocent. Here's hoping for the same result for you.

Ok so I nearly knicker checked on the escalator at St Paul's tube station last night. I managed to stop myself and made it to the bar I was going to but I was very close....

JaffaSnaffle · 13/06/2012 08:29

MrsPear, I'll be thinking of you today. Hope it goes well. X

MarthasHarbour · 13/06/2012 09:15

hope it goes ok today mrspear.

i went for my private appointment yesterday at liverpool. they are going to re-do all the blood tests and give me a hysteroscopy in the next couple of weeks so i should be ready to ttc again in about six weeks. i am happy with that as i thought it was going to take forever.

i was a blubbering wreck at the apointment though. i am usual quite good at telling my story without the tears but i just couldn't help it.

kirrinIsland · 13/06/2012 10:39

Good luck today mrspear

Glad to hear the appointment went well pebs - think tears can sometimes help at those kind of appointments.

wilderumpus · 13/06/2012 11:20

nom criossants, thanks glitter

good luck today mrspear, will be thinking of you with all fingers crossed.

great news about your appt pebs. Am not surprised you were emotional at the meeting. I was very upset at the drs when I went to get help for the depression/mc shite, more upset than I even knew I was and i put it down to the fact that she was my hope, she could help me, and I felt quite childlike in the face of that. I still think she is my surrogate mother!

I def have a pos opk this morning... and dtd in the early hours - we couldn't sleep for stress and so he jumped mah bones! Grin Sooooo, expect to ov tomorrow and am in with a wee chance now this month accidentally! so am happily, serenely, looking forward to a 2ww (DH doesn't have a clue!). Going to keep myself busy getting back to work, exercising and getting well. Have no piss sticks in my house and will not test till AF late! (cp phobia)

i had a go at a scally letting his dog shite on the pavement today. He was veer rude!

wilderumpus · 13/06/2012 11:21

croissants (nom)

StateofConfusion · 13/06/2012 11:50

Thinking of you today mrspear x

pebspop · 13/06/2012 12:20

i think the crying did help as the consultant sneaked me into the next clinic rather than make me wait for the usual appointment on the system. that could have taken 6 weeks.

he also put my surgery in his personal diary so i can get booked in for that without waiting.

he was a really nice guy.

feel a little bit guilty that i have pushed in the nhs queue but we have to do what we have to do eh?

twolittlemonkeys · 13/06/2012 12:28

Thinking of you today mrspear

Well, I should be OVing if the Clomid has worked but haven't yet had a positive OPK. Does anyone have experience of these not working in conjunction with Clomid? Or not ever getting a positive but definitely OVing anyway? Driving myself to distraction with this - currently on CD 17 and have been doing OPKs - and having SWI regularly since CD11. Nothing....

Trying to take my mind off the ttc side of things by doing a load of DIY today - I've been regrouting sections of the bathroom floor and sanding down a wall in order to paint it. Can't quite decide whether to PVA the wall first or not. I can't really be faffed with any of it but it needs to be done. May just slap the paint on then go and have a nap until it's time to pick DS2 up from kindergarten!

ConfusedMumDotCom · 13/06/2012 12:53

I am very confused.

TMI alert

EWCM what's going on? I thought this month was over? Poor DH isn't going to know what hits him tonight, particularly as ha spurned my advances last night. Wink

wilderumpus · 13/06/2012 12:56

two don't know about clomid but my very pregnant friend never got a pos on an opk :) Go with what you know and don't rely on them - she got preggo (and then so did I) when they ditched the sticks and dtd eod - as you are doing! :)

ConfusedMumDotCom · 13/06/2012 13:39

Pregnancy announcement at work Sad

(hides under desk)

gothinrecovery · 13/06/2012 13:42

Hi,

Thanks for the good wishes pixie - hope you are okay.

I am coping I guess, feel okay sometimes and other times it just all hits me, yesterday was hard as would have been going for first ante-natal. Very tired physically as well. Will probably drop in and out of here rather than be on here lots - I want to try not to get too obsessed with it all (while obviously hoping that there is a decent egg still left somewhere despite having hit 43 last week). I am increasingly convinced this was actually MC no.2 as had a late period and symptoms back in October, though never tested (would have been about 4+4) so will never know for sure. Got a follow up appointment with the NHS next week to see if there is anything they can do/ suggest, so fingers crossed - just trying to stay as positive as possible in the circumstances, really.

gothinrecovery · 13/06/2012 13:42

Hugs to everyone as well - hit post too early!

ConfusedMumDotCom · 13/06/2012 13:55

I knew about this pregnancy before the announcement it still really hurts. Sad

Midgetm · 13/06/2012 15:17

Great news pebs on speedy service. Just a quick an flippant post to say that there is a mosh put in the opening ceremony of the Olympics. I am expecting we shall all receive personal invites from Danny Boyle so we can take our rightful places in them.

Any news from mrs pear
