We want babies the good old-fashioned way - through drunken, spontaneous shagging at any time of the month . All you need is a man, , ramekins and a batch of cheapo pregnancy sticks, and you're good to go! (Shag-capes and actual Sex optional)

The group is so successful that you can see the results for yourself in our graduates thread full of mamas who JSed their way to motherhood. Getting a BFP within a few weeks is known as "doing a kitten", and due to the secret and magical powers of the Just Shagging thread, this happens from time to time.

We have our own TTC language - EWCM is now known as "pant snot", AF is now "ERTD" (Evil red tide of DOOM!), OV is ovulation, and of course, JSing is Just Shagging!

Viroids is our name of choice, the reason is long since lost in the annals of time. If you really feel the need to take a test, Gu Ramekins are what all the classy birds are using. And of course, drinking is essential. Sometimes, we even remember to have sex

top, it does sound like one (I think I had one back in Nov 2010, walking down the street, massive pangs, hobbled into toilet & everything was soaked bright red & clotty)....of course it's a good sign about your fertility!
And if it was a mc I'm also very glad it was a very early one..IYKWIM!
Have you told DH you think that's what it was?
Also, if you're quite sure it was, will you still get him to the wank bank?

horse I did discuss it with DH and he feels the same, kind of upset but bizarrely a little positive as well. It's the closest we have managed so far and does prove that our new healthier regime has had an effect. Not sure about the wank clinic now, may give it a few months after holiday with no drinking and JSing and see how it goes :)

Nothing new to report, test line was still just as faint, grrr. Might get dd ready and head to morrissons, times like these I wish I could drive, I'd definitely be more motivated to go if it wouldn't take me out of the house for about two hours with a toddler demanding to not be in the pushchair and walk at snail pace.

Topbanana I think that this happened to me a few years ago, I rarely get periods, that year id had 2 and it was October. I was about to come home from my hols, horrendous period pain, really heavy and clotty, which depite the lack of ovulation when I had periods they were always light. I think that was a chemical preg too - but the good news is I was prego 2 months after and wasnt even trying.

But it does give you hope that you can get pregnant and that your body is ready for it.

something your SIL sound like a shocker!! I think your right to disown her. At the end of the day, your better off without the hassle and your kids will be spared the atmosphere. My friend has a similar problem with hers, no one I know can stand her, she outright rude and ignorant.

I've already ovulated of course, but I hear you can occasionally ovulate twice in a cycle? Might that be what's happened to ne? Can't ov sometimes but rarely cause a false positive?

Apparently you can get false positives on the OV sticks with pcos and stuff. A line's a line babylann Get yourself a digi so you can see those words looking at you and test in a couple of days so you can get a good increase in hormone. Oh exciting times. I would say have a nice cuppa to celebrate but you'll have to go steady on the tea and coffee!!! Fizzy water perhaps??

I agree with ribs - didn't you say you've tested quite early anyway? Maybe sit tight for a couple of days and then do a digi to be absolutely sure.

Hehe, weeeeell, imagine my dilemma when I was pregnant with DD, "oh I don't tend to have much caffeine anyway". But of course I craved full fat coke from start to finish. And it had to be in a can, which made it expensive too.

God I hope I don't have cravings next time, I went from a 12-14 to a 22 with DD... Only just got back to a 14-16 and was intending to carry on my healthy eating regime during pregnancy!

Horse - I had a simulate experience around this time last year (actually it was bank holiday a year ago today!) we weren't ttc, woke up early with terrible cramps and then like a 'pop' feeling inside really painful dp woke up as I was all 'owww!!' I went loo about 5 minutes later and (tmi) there was a lot of blood but it was very dark and there was a lot of stretchy mucus mixed with it, carried on for a almost a week and very heavy lots of clots which never happens, worked out it had been 46 days since my last af

Dp said 'do you think it was an early mc?' I didn't read too much into it but looking back it was very odd perhaps that or a cp

OOh flutters. I had that with my DD. When it happened I remembered when my friend had icsi she said she felt it and it was implantation. I wasnt ttc at the time and dismissed it - it bloody well was tho you know!!

Don't want to put a downer on things something but I had this last cycle and it was just ERTD. Although googling says it can be implantation. I guess you've just got to wait and see. Fingers crossed though. When in ERTD due?

baby if it's a cheap test don't read too much into it not getting darker. Apparently the way they are made is just to tell you yes or no, so although you may see it getting darker, it not doing doesn't necessarily mean anything. of course if I was you I'd be reading into it left right and centre

top it does sound like it might be. Not sure if that should change your wank clinic plan or not.

horse I totally agree on hot weather and ERTD, for the same reasons.

Nothing new here I'm afraid. I'm 4dpo on the most conservative estimate but may be as much as 9dpo had a few tummy twinges briefly yesterday but they've now gone. Boobs sore today on and off but as I am not symptom spotting I'm sure it's all just due to the 2ww hormones.

I have to say I've also had the flutters and tingles for the last couple of days, and at best estimates ERTD should be due Fri/Sat, so I did think it was the witch on her way. Fx though something, you never know!

horse and persuasion omg i thought it was just me who worried about that!! I get especially paranoid on hot, packed, commuter trains where you have to stand in the aisles with everyone's head at hip height

well with the stress of planning iv lost weight since getting measured for it so maybe it wouldnt be a bad thing :)
