Thought I would take the plunge and start the June thread! I won't be getting my May BFP as my cycles are sooooooo long. Who's. With me?

christelle I'm the same, although my DH obviously knows I was using OPKs he knew nothing about the true extent of my POAS obsession, early testing etc! Although this month I'm trying to be more laid back - no OPKs and I will not POAS until af is due! (if I keep saying that enough will it make it true?!)

Sorry about no second interview winkle. But maybe the job wasn't right for you. I'm a firm believer that the important things - finding the right dp, finding the right place to live, finding the right job etc - do fall into place at the right time. You "know" when it's the right one, it's just waiting for it to come along that's frustrating!

Not sure whether this theory holds good re having kids as well - ask me in a few years!

DS is off to the in-laws for a sleepover 2nite so me and DH can go out with our friends for his b'day (which was y'day but we had a family night last night) but i am so wrecked i could just zzzz and also wondering how many i'm really allowed to have?? I have a feeling I OV a couple of days ago (just based on ewcm cos i haven't been temping and i don't usually get spotting or cramping or anything like that) tho FF predicts i won't OV until Monday. If I haven't OV yet, then should be ok but if I OV a few days ago then perhaps not...ho humm....

Christelle - its impossible to have pg symptoms after ov. The symptoms women think they have is due to an increase in progesterone - something we all get after af. Pregnant women erroneously attribute this to pregnancy no doubt forgetting they had it every month before.

Also they won't have implanted until at least 13dpo so the body doesn't even know its pregnant yet! And if thy did have symptoms, those symptoms would be caused by the pregnancy hormone hcg which is what tests pick up.

So if anyone had symptoms just after ov, the hormone would be in their system and we would all get positive pregnancy tests.

Any symptoms up until well after a missed period is sadly as a result of the increasing progesterone that we all experience :)

. That's not a positive. The manufacturers say that its impossible for his them to make s completely foolproof test. That's why they say you shouldn't squint or look for something that isn't there

an evaporation line only picks up various chemicals. Not hcg. Never hcg.

A positive pregnancy test will be clearly a line in either pink or blue.

There are stories but they are not the norm and more than likely self fulfilling prophecies.

Yep its not a positive result. Its an error.

When is af due?

af due 7th june line was pinkish but hard to tell

If its not clearly a colour and clearly a line then do another test in a few days

Its very rare to get a positive result 5days before.

Not saying youre not pregnant but its very early

Did a cb hpt -not digital this morning. 14 dpo today. Got v. faint bfp. I haven't done a test this early before so not sure if it is positive or if not a good sign. With other three dc strong bfp lines a bit later on. Not sure what to think. Help me wise ladies!

Congrats. 14dpo doesn't seem that late to test IMO. Faint line sounds like a BFP to me. Is your period late? Did you use first morning urine?

Agree. 14 dpo could produce a positive result. Test again in a couple days to make sure. :)

Hi. Another bfn but still only 12 dpo. But was with an expensive first response one. They say 98%accurate result but that could be bs???

Will wait to see if Af comes on Tuesday. But not that hopeful. Although no chin zits yet. Tummy griping as it does before Af.
