The last couple of threads got lots of people pg. Let's hope this is another lucky one.

OP posts:
FluffyJawsOfDoom · 28/04/2012 11:45

Bartlett I used to have that problem, and it turned out I wasn't bothering to sift the flour?

Smegs I'm brooking it's nothing major - I think you should phone your MW or the EPU though, see if you can get a reassurance scan or at least some advice?

Ninja you can use muffin/cupcake tins, or you can buy mini cases in tesco/etc readymade (pretty sure I've seen them in the freezer aisle, they're made by the puff pastry people...)

Hi munx! Sorry to hear you're having a hard time, brooking for your appointment.

Solars · 28/04/2012 12:20

Smegs I really hope this is just the bean making itself comfortable, lots of brooking your way, is it you who has a scan tomorrow or am I completely mistaken?

Bartlet I know weak willed that I am I succumbed :( but yay I get to friends with all of you :)

Munx you're always welcome here and I really hope we get our BFP this month. We didn't quite manage everyday and I think the run of + ve opks was something to do with the clomid perhaps?? Lots of brooking your way too and let us know how you get on with the scan.

Hello and welcome Calamity

SweetieDoesIt · 28/04/2012 13:39

Smegs sorry to hear you are having a few troubles, hope things return to normal soon. {{{big squishy hugs}}}

Munx sorry too have had a few probs too, brooking so hard it hurts for your 20 week scan.

Lovely to see all the PSEPP popping in -

My HSG went ok yest, the ladies doing it were so lovely. It took longer for her to get everything ready than actually do the procedure. It did smart fecking kill when they squished the dye in, but that really only lasted tops a minute. She could see my tubes are all clear and the dye came out the other end very quickly. All very positive, she did say that I may have heightened fertility for the next few months, and lots of ladies fall preggers after HSG - bring it on fx!!!

Going back tomorrow for internal ultra sound and pelvic exam things (one where you have to drink loads of water beforehand), I will be CD9 so am hoping they will be able to see the egg ripening as I usually OV CD10-12.

Sorry for me me me post. Oh and can I join secret FB group too?

clickingtock · 28/04/2012 13:51

Hello Ratstalkers and Ratkillers too.

Brooking for Munx and Smegs.

Sweetie - I hope this is it for you now. Bring on that BFP. It's your turn. And everyone else's. Grin

Solars - walking like John Wayne?

Welcome to newbies.

We've been supporting the Big Ride near Hyde Park. Soggy but DS loved the bikey bustle.

TTFN.

cartoonface · 28/04/2012 14:15

BeedleTheBard · 28/04/2012 16:17

Oh and its lovely to be able to put names to faces - not that I can remember who is who yet so there is no need to worry about using anyone's real name here by mistake :o

jenfraggle · 28/04/2012 16:35

cakes82 · 28/04/2012 16:43

Hi Sweetie glad all went well with HSG, def hope post HSG BFP is on its way :o
Hope everything ok Smegs

Calamityboo · 28/04/2012 16:46

What is HSG please?

cakes82 · 28/04/2012 16:54

I forget what the letters stand for but basically they inject dye into you and take an x ray so they can see if your tubes and womb look normal. Within the first few months after an HSG a fair number of ladies who had previously been struggling to get pregnant do get pregnant!

Shock I had that done!! I had it done for fertility tests we were having (completely forgot the name of it till now), I had it done in October 2008, and was preggers by Xmas Shock, I had no idea.

Calamityboo · 28/04/2012 17:00

Your fine sparkle! Look up, I was preggers by Xmas, but didn't know until the middle of Jan when I sobered up Grin DS is fine :)

cakes82 · 28/04/2012 17:10

Calamity I guess if your GP referred you back to fertility specialist they may consider doing another if they felt it was needed. Have vague recollections of someone saying they sometimes did them again after pregnancies and mc to make sure anything that needed clearing out was. Can anyone else remember?

cakes82 · 28/04/2012 17:12

Sparkle I was really naughty I knew I was newly pg and still had half a bottle of wine on a weekend away (thats a lot of alcohol for me so was def tipsy minimum) Have had only one glass in the 12 weeks since.

Calamityboo · 28/04/2012 17:12

Well we have only been ttc since August, so I will have to wait a bit any way, will keep peeing on the smiley sticks till then!

SweetieDoesIt · 28/04/2012 17:17

Oh Calamity how exciting, quite a few brookers have had similar positive post HSG results. Am very much keeping my fingers crossed.

Cakes I think it may have been Olives but she had lap & dye which is similar done key hole under a general. I think that is the case.

Sparks you are totally forgiven for enjoying yourself at the weekend, and at 7dpo mini Sparks would not be sharing your blood alcohol stream.

So please chare the secret FB group with me - who do I need to PM?

cakes82 · 28/04/2012 17:23

I have a feeling the length of time ttc is longer before referral if you already have a child, is that right? If your lucky and you have a nice GP its a year when ttc first. Calamity can I suggest keeping an eye on CM as well ff have helpful lessons on what your looking for.

Calamityboo · 28/04/2012 17:24

Good luck sweetie I was not an MNr last time so I didn't realise that test could have that outcome :) I am pleased it did though, FX for you! (what does DPO mean?)

cakes82 · 28/04/2012 17:25

days past ovulation

Calamityboo · 28/04/2012 17:27

Sorry I keep x posting with everyone, cakes I have a 14 yr old DS (from previous marriage) and we had been trying nearly 2 years for ds2 (now 2) when I saw my GP, he is lovely and has tretaed me for ages for my various troubling troubes. Who or what is FF?

jenfraggle · 28/04/2012 17:44

FF is Fertility Friend, a website that helps you to track your cycle

cakes82 · 28/04/2012 17:48

Fertility friend the website you can put temp and opk into and it will work out when you ov, altho I think you pay for that bit. I think I used to use a different website but I forget what it was called.

SweetieDoesIt · 28/04/2012 18:08

Calamity Fertility Friend is free for basic membership, this includes temp tracking and OPK results etc. You only have to pay for additonal features, such as overlay charts for each month. They sometime give you a VIP trail for a week or so of the additonal features before you sign up.

CupcakesAndCocktails · 28/04/2012 18:33

Sweetie glad the HSG went ok, can't wait for your inevitable BFP!

If you PM me your real name I'll try to find you on Facebook. I'm difficult to find so it might be easier if I add you
