Oh dear, I can just about keep up with the reading (nipping on throughout the day whenever MrGeek isn't looking) but writing... oh my! I'm lucky if I can manage once a day
Forgive the lack of name checks, far far far too much to cover! No offence meant to anyone not listed, I'm thinking of you all and sending you all gallons of sticky bean dust.
maybe glad to hear your temps are finally changing, I can barely get two in a row the same so have no idea whatsoever what could cause such a run of steady temps. Do you always sleep right through/have a good sleep pattern? I wake up loads during the night and found the best way to get the full picture was to temp each time I woke (approx every two hours) then plot on an excel scatter graph (and you thought I was only geek by name hehehe). My 4am - 6am temps gave me a full extra day's warning of imminent ov than my >6am readings (usually 6.50 when the alarm goes off and I finally have to drag myself out of my pit).
Wedding music, oooh such lovely choices! Me and my ex had a Celtic folk instrumental in and a different one out. It was in a reg office and their only stipulation was 'as long as it doesn't have lyrics'. The whole event had a bit of a medieval theme though, so it kind of fitted. We also had a scottish folk band play at the reception rather than a DJ. Unfortunately, everyone enjoyed sitting listening to the music so much that nobody danced
MrGeek and I have never found the right time to get wedded. We've been engaged for about 9 years now. Ha! It's that long, I can't even remember when it was, and my engagement ring no longer fits me! Waahh
My dreams are always so bizarre. The only time I ever dreamt I was pg (aout two months ago), the bump was all floppy and the baby was some weird human/animal hybrid when it came out. I really do watch far too many horror films!
tock thanks for your suggestion about Chinese herbal meds. I did discuss with MrGeek his having acupuncture. He is terrified of needles, despite injecting insulin four times a day, but the thing that made him most dubious was we had just watched Final Destination 5, he now has visions of dying with loads of acupuncture needles in him! It's not cheap round here mind. Would need to check the finances as it's been a heavy few months with the house move and other things.
smegs don't worry about missing my posts, I can only post at random times. Hope your morning/evening/midday/nighttime sickness gets better soon, maybe its confusion about what time it is is an indication its about to pack its bags?
solars [hugs] we're here for you when you're ready.
sparks you are so updiffed and you know it, we know it, even the little pee sticks will know it in a day or two.
Not much to report from the GeekCave. The rain cleared yesterday afternoon, so I managed to get on and pot up all of the plants that were practically climbing out of their starter pots. GeekCave ought to be renamed GeekJungle. My sweetcorn is 18 inches high and I can't put it out for another week and a half to be sure we aren't going to get another frost.
Rain is back with a vengeance this morning but will apparently clear up for the afternoon, which means good weather when we go to look at the chucks. Still in two minds as to whether we ought to build an enclosure ourselves, or buy one. The cost works out pretty equal. So excited that we are finally in a position to get ourselves some girls!!
Well, what started out as a quick post has turned into a bit of a War & Peace type thing so I'd best leave it here. Again, apologies to anyone not name checked. Looking forward to a new lucky fred during which I hope to be able to report my first shag for 2 years and 3 months
