The last couple of threads got lots of people pg. Let's hope this is another lucky one.

OP posts:
SweetieDoesIt · 02/05/2012 22:31

We had an Elvis impersonator so did our first dance to "The Wonder of You" - I think there may be a video of it on my FB.

Classy chick me WinkGrin but I loved it.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 02/05/2012 22:34

That's the way I like to play it Sparks. I hate my photo being taken Grin

Thanks for looking for my temps. I am obviously a medical miracle Wink

My mum made me a cd so I could choose the wedding music. I love it. Our first dance was a cheesy KCi and JoJo 'All my life' but I love it.

I wonder what CD30 will bring for my BBT......

ScrambledSmegs · 02/05/2012 22:41

DH and I had You Said Something by PJ Harvey for our first dance. It has a waltz beat, is a beautiful song and has enough credibility to satisfy even our most die-hard muso friends. I love it as it's both deeply romantic and non-schmalzy.

Some of our friends had One Day Like This by Elbow. Lovely song, but I guess they hadn't listened to the lyrics Confused at least it wasn't Grounds for Divorce!

BeedleTheBard · 03/05/2012 05:39

Morning all

solars hope you're feeling better today, come and tell us about it if you think it might help (or stay away to avoid mentalling if that's better) :)

generic hope DD is feeling better soon

maybe I have no idea why you might be getting exactly teh same temp every day, its a bit odd for me getting the same temp 2 days in a row, and I don't know what causes extra low temps either - though I'm sure I've read something now I start to think about it. I will think harder :o

I ordered a new bumper supply of OPKs and preggo tests from amazon this week. To get the free delivery I had to buy 50 preggo tests - how am I going to use 50? Even if I say save 10 to confirm when I finally get a positive and then even if I use 3 each cycle (thanks to smegs I'll have to check after my period as well!!!) that's still enough for another 13 cycles wwaaahhh I want to be pregnant before then :o

I keep dreaming of bfp's!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/05/2012 07:39

I've had a few twin dreams in my time too Sparks, but last night it was just the one, a girl as a matter of fact Grin

I'm keeping everything crossed that that bbt behaves itself for you. I had my thyroid checked last year, was completely normal. Temp up to 97.9 today! Get me!

Beedle you're going to be differ soon, so you will be giving them away Wink

Morning Cartoon and all other brokers. If you're reading Bartlett hope all is well. And you Imps hope the gymnastics haven't exhausted you and the twins

SweetieDoesIt · 03/05/2012 07:49

Maybe I know everyone is different and what might be low for you is normal for others. My pre ov temps are 97.0 - 97.3 and post ov are 97.8 - 98.1, but that is pretty consistent each cycle since I started temping

Sparks I will have a look at the hen night fun and frolics this evening when I have chance to get onto FB. And twins you say, I wonder how Imps twins are getting on these days??

Beedle stocking up, obviously an ironic BFP coming your way in a "won't be needing those" as determined by the Law of Sod.

iPhone has arrived - AMAZBALLLS Grin luffly postie always seems to come extra early when it is something exciting, do posties have a sixth sense? Will set it up play with it tonight!!

Catch you all this evening, you will probably have a new home by then. Bye for now brookers.

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 03/05/2012 08:02

Olives those song choices are amazeballs! I'd have been in fits of giggles over "lets get it on " :) we didn't have a first dance which is a good thing as we had a very small reception indeed.

I had horrible dreams last night Shock am comfort-mning :o

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/05/2012 08:05

Oh Fluff you poor thing. We are better than a comfort blanket

Sweetie my pre ov temps are normally high, around 98 ish, think that's why I'm baffled

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/05/2012 08:38

I have to vent. I am so so Angry walking to the station and a twunt swerved deliberately into a puddle big enough to be a lake to cover me in water. I've been splashed before, but this is bridget jones style. I am soaked and deaf in my right ear cos of the water. Vent over. As you were

Geeklette · 03/05/2012 08:43

Oh dear, I can just about keep up with the reading (nipping on throughout the day whenever MrGeek isn't looking) but writing... oh my! I'm lucky if I can manage once a day Blush

Forgive the lack of name checks, far far far too much to cover! No offence meant to anyone not listed, I'm thinking of you all and sending you all gallons of sticky bean dust.

maybe glad to hear your temps are finally changing, I can barely get two in a row the same so have no idea whatsoever what could cause such a run of steady temps. Do you always sleep right through/have a good sleep pattern? I wake up loads during the night and found the best way to get the full picture was to temp each time I woke (approx every two hours) then plot on an excel scatter graph (and you thought I was only geek by name hehehe). My 4am - 6am temps gave me a full extra day's warning of imminent ov than my >6am readings (usually 6.50 when the alarm goes off and I finally have to drag myself out of my pit).

Wedding music, oooh such lovely choices! Me and my ex had a Celtic folk instrumental in and a different one out. It was in a reg office and their only stipulation was 'as long as it doesn't have lyrics'. The whole event had a bit of a medieval theme though, so it kind of fitted. We also had a scottish folk band play at the reception rather than a DJ. Unfortunately, everyone enjoyed sitting listening to the music so much that nobody danced Sad

MrGeek and I have never found the right time to get wedded. We've been engaged for about 9 years now. Ha! It's that long, I can't even remember when it was, and my engagement ring no longer fits me! Waahh

My dreams are always so bizarre. The only time I ever dreamt I was pg (aout two months ago), the bump was all floppy and the baby was some weird human/animal hybrid when it came out. I really do watch far too many horror films!

tock thanks for your suggestion about Chinese herbal meds. I did discuss with MrGeek his having acupuncture. He is terrified of needles, despite injecting insulin four times a day, but the thing that made him most dubious was we had just watched Final Destination 5, he now has visions of dying with loads of acupuncture needles in him! It's not cheap round here mind. Would need to check the finances as it's been a heavy few months with the house move and other things.

smegs don't worry about missing my posts, I can only post at random times. Hope your morning/evening/midday/nighttime sickness gets better soon, maybe its confusion about what time it is is an indication its about to pack its bags?

solars [hugs] we're here for you when you're ready.

sparks you are so updiffed and you know it, we know it, even the little pee sticks will know it in a day or two.

Not much to report from the GeekCave. The rain cleared yesterday afternoon, so I managed to get on and pot up all of the plants that were practically climbing out of their starter pots. GeekCave ought to be renamed GeekJungle. My sweetcorn is 18 inches high and I can't put it out for another week and a half to be sure we aren't going to get another frost.

Rain is back with a vengeance this morning but will apparently clear up for the afternoon, which means good weather when we go to look at the chucks. Still in two minds as to whether we ought to build an enclosure ourselves, or buy one. The cost works out pretty equal. So excited that we are finally in a position to get ourselves some girls!!

Well, what started out as a quick post has turned into a bit of a War & Peace type thing so I'd best leave it here. Again, apologies to anyone not name checked. Looking forward to a new lucky fred during which I hope to be able to report my first shag for 2 years and 3 months

Geeklette · 03/05/2012 08:44

Geek you are a trooper. In every sense of the word. Thanks for the towel.

Sparks I am addicted to the logo quiz. No witnesses which I suppose saved the embarassment. I take my temp at exactly the same time every day, and I sleep through mostly. Even the nights I have got up for a wee, my temp has been the same!

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 03/05/2012 09:01

Omg maybe the bastard! Shock As an ex-boss once told me when I walked out of my crappy job, "the karma will come back and get [him]" :o

Geek a scottish folk band sounds amazing!! My engagement ring doesn't fit anymore either, we got engaged when I turned 18 so it was a looooohng time ago!

GreenOlives · 03/05/2012 09:11

Morning ladies!

Beedle You can never have too many preggo tests! Smile

Maybe Angry What an twat! Hope you are drying off now and I hope that being splashed by a giant puddle has the same good luck as being shat on by a bird apparently has!

Fluff Boo to bad dreams - that was one of my preggo symptoms, really weird and vivid dreams. I had a dream last night about my friend's newborn baby (who is coming to visit this afternoon) She was dressed in boy's clothes and had a beard (at 3 weeks old!) Random! Grin

Geek That was indeed an epic post Smile Fingers crossed for an epic shag soon too! Wink

Sweetie Ooh an IPhone! Enjoy your playing later. I need to upgrade soon and have been looking at them but I think I will go for a Samsung S2 because I am too tight to pay out more money It really annoys me that MN doesn't have an Android app though, I need to appeal to them so I can keep up to date with you lot while I'm out and about! Grin

Sparks Not really any good with charts but nausea = preggo and feeling normal = preggo and being a Rat Smacker = preggo. Just got to find the right stick now Wink

I'm off out for dinner with the girls tonight then to see Dirty Dancing at the theatre - can't wait! Smile

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 03/05/2012 09:20

:o 3 year old with a beard!
