Fab thank you so much for the advice girlies!!! Well last cycle was 36 days but that is unusually long for me but I'm a bit all over the place from the pill. This cycle was 31 days. Bit more normal!!! So, I'll wait for evil AF to bugger off then wait a few more days and POAS? Where do I get the internet cheapies from? Can anyone recommend somewhere? I'll get some now so they arrive in time. DH works nights which is not ideal but I'm sure we can sort out some SWI ;)

Doing this should hopefully help me understand my cycles a bit better too. DS was conceived accidentally while I wasnt taking the pill properly so all this is very new to me!!!!

hope its ok to butt in, im not really sure where i fit in atm. i mc'd 5 wks ago. the doc said to was fine ttc straight away so we havent wasted any time. i have had af, so no luck the first month but maybe this time. since im struggling to be positive i want postiveness around me to help get rid of the negative nelly in my head

Oh, Cartoon I am so sorry for your loss. A few of us here have been there too, there is lots of moral support and more positivity than you can shake a stick at. So pull up a pew

Pip I am no expert with OPKs, but I wouldn't stress too much about them. Lots of people here have never got positives on them, but are still def ovulating. Maybe start testing around day 10? And unlike preggo tests, most people get better results peeing on them in the evening

Took my temperature again today. Still very low (lower than normal) so I don't think I am ovulating anymore. Not getting up differ is one thing, but now that my body is deciding to break, it's really got me down this morning. Have decided I am going to try and see the nice GP when this cycle decided to end. Stuff the 16 month rule, if my cycles are messed up again then I am going back

I suppose my low temperatures would explain why I have been so bloomin cold every morning this week

Long time no see, sorry I've been AWOL but I've been having a bit of a stressful time in RL. I was in hospital for a scope yesterday due to my chemical pregnancy and all the bottom pain I had. Luckily all is well, no problems found. So am very pleased about that. The main reason I've been absent is that I developed this massive lump on my neck. It's a cyst in my thyroid, I've had it all checked out and it's been drained (the bloody thing came back only a few hours later ). I'm waiting to see the specialist as I may have to have part of my thyroid removed. So have not been ttc this month and have been a bit preoccupied with all that.

I'm hoping for a very ironic BFP this month as I've not been taking my vitamins or my iron recently (I had to stop my iron for a week before the scope) plus I've worked out my cycle day this morning for the first time in ages and we have had SFF on day 15 and 18. I normally ovulate between days 16 to 20 so it is possible .

Right what else have I missed?

Aw Cupcakes lovely to see you back! Sorry to hear about your health problems and am brooking that things are now on the up and you will get your not-even-trying-BFP this month!

Maybe get to the doctor and that's an order. Something is not quite right and I think you need to get it checked out as it is obviously stressing you out. I am brooking that it is easily solved and you will have your baby in next to no time.

SPARKLE, we were quite lucky i think, it took around 5months. we just decided to shag and see. i didnt really bother with temps and cm and god knows wot else. not sure wether to take the same approach again or get me some ovualtion sticks

Pop (sorry can't get used to your new name yet!) I've had TSH & T4 levels checked and they are fine apparently. I'm just waiting for an appointment with the ENT specialist which will probably be 3-4 weeks.

Maybe I think you should go get checked out as well. Make sure you see the nice GP though.

Generic I'm up for a virtual bacon butty! I started weight watchers a few weeks ago. I don't think I look overweight but my BMI is quite high. I think it's cos I'm very short. I'm hoping that by getting my BMI down to 25 I will boost my ttc chances.

Thanks for your kind words everyone. Have just tried ringing the surgery. My GPs have the weirdest booking system. You can only book a week in advance. So I called today for an appointment for next Thursday with Lovely GP. Fully booked. So rather than letting me try and get an appointment for Friday, I have to call back tomorrow to see if there are any available. Ah well.

Something definitely isn't right. And you are right Gen it is stressing me out something chronic, which in turn, is making upduffing harder
