Popping in to wish Far a happy scan. I am brooking!

Olives hope the lap and dye went well.

Beedle it is hard to talk about such things, but my attitude would probably be that it is better to know if there is a problem (and there probably isn't) so that it can be fixed. Appeal to his logical side.

Tock glad the dentist went well! DD's dentist is a beautiful Solars lookylikey too. Solars are you moonlighting as a dentist?

Pip sorry about AF, but hurrah to day 1 of your pregnancy!

Sparks you make me laugh!

Whim hope your teeth look beautiful after 2h - there's no way I could endure that!

Imps, lovely to see you back!

Think egg might be popping today, so if I go quiet that's because I'm busy (fnar, fnar).

GenericDietCola · 25/04/2012 11:17

Ooh my SIL is in labour RIGHT NOW!

ScrambledSmegs · 25/04/2012 11:28

Good luck to your SIL Generic!

Off to practice my face.

x

Morning all!

I am sore and windy Sad Lap & dye showed a nice clear tube but I do have a small fimbrial cyst on my Rt ovary but they don't seem to think this should be a problem. I'll have a proper follow-up appt in a couple of months. So I've just got to get better quickly and get on with the rat-smacking in earnest over the next couple of months! Smile

Hello and welcome to all the newbies and big waves to everyone. Not back at work for a while so will be able to catch up properly over the next week.

TTFN

GenericDietCola · 25/04/2012 12:00

Olives glad it went well and your tube is clear. What's a fimbrial cyst? Hope the pain and wind eases off soon and you can get back to rat smacking!

Yay olives that's good news - your BFP is winging its way to you now, I'm sure!

I love morning SFF. It's my favourite. Possibly because it's a rare and unusual treat... :o

Kind Regards,

Mrs McFluffyPop Wink

Oh absolutely. I couldn't SFF if I didn't get up and pee etc first! :o

clickingtock · 25/04/2012 13:01

Great news Olives - hope that's lifted your spirits and given you inspiration for some very enjoyable SWI?

Laughed a lot at scarred Whims and swapping places.

Thanks Maybe for the complement.

Gen - how v exciting. Good luck to her. Take it as a cue to have some great synchronistic SWI.

Purple - I'm sure conceiving is much harder once you've got a LOL banishes from mind friend who has 4DC, between ages of 31-37, all conceived around 1y after birth of previous DC.

Beedle - Gen is right that men respond well to logic (their logic). Any news?

Fluffy - SFF and preggers. Good on you. I was quite keen, DP less motivated. Not sure why. I didn't get stretch marks or nowt. TMI of course.

clickingtock · 25/04/2012 13:04

Scarlett - nice link, made me smile. Bit freaky as one of my DS's standard answers is 'Little bit'. I shan't ask him if he pissed on my shirt though.

BartletForAmerica · 25/04/2012 13:28

Enjoy all the SFF in the morning while you can, Brookers! DS gets up about 7am so that's all stopped since he was a toddler. When he was a baby and had a morning nap, there was still a bit of time (if we had the energy) for it.

Green, great news from your scan. Hopefully that's given everything a bit of a shake ready for your BFP next month.

Another vague line on the OPK yesterday lunchtime. Didn't even mention it to DH, but as soon as DS was in bed, he was raring to go. Good man!

GenericDietCola · 25/04/2012 13:49

Tock you are right - I am assuming the rule is one in one out i.e. one family baby born today/tomorrow leaves room for one pregnancy in the family. Brooking that it is true! I enjoyed preggo SFF too - everything seemed much more sensitive!

Bartlet good on your DH! Must lure mine into bed later.

Solars · 25/04/2012 13:51

Helloooo fellow brookster!

Click you made me blush Blush, dear! By the way is there any secret to not getting stretch marks?

Oh Generic how exciting! and in answer to your qs no i'm not a dentist but my older sister is!! Good luck with all the swi. I've been getting positive opks for the past 4 days now? So not sure if i'm still due to pop or it could be something to do with clomid(??) so we're still at it too [exhausted]

Good on your DH Bartlet

Olives so glad to hear all went well with the lap & dye, although sorry you're feeling sore, feel better soon and get onto that smacking!

Grin @ Sparks & Scarlett

Waves at the blazing trail that was Imps

Also waves at everyone else too...

Generic The fimbriae are the feathery bits at the end of the fallopian tube which waft about and catch the egg. Apparently they can get cysts on them and those cysts can attach themselves to the ovary. That is what a fimbrial cyst is I think according to Dr Google I may find out more at my follow up appt!

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 25/04/2012 14:03

:o tock
DH is not not keen, but I am being treated like a bit of a ming vase when all I want is a good seeing to Blush and I guess it must be hormonal because this week I'm all over him like a rash Shock Blush

Brooking that's the case too, generic - you'll have to rub up close to her and try and get some pregnancy germs :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 25/04/2012 15:42

Olives great news that your tube is fine and dandy. You are on for a BFP now, fact.

Fluff 'ming vasr' Grin I told DH that when I am pregnant, I fully expect sex. Luckily he looked at me as if to say 'well, of course, I wouldn't expect anything less' so hopefully we will be fine in that department.

I don't know what is going on with my body temperature. I have virtually been in tears the last few mornings cos I have been so so cold. And then come this time I am like a furnace.

I love pineapple Sparks

NoMaybeAboutIt · 25/04/2012 15:42

'ming vase' of course

BeedleTheBard · 25/04/2012 16:04

Thanks for all the good advice ladies. I haven't seen him yet but hopefully we'll find time to talk over the weekend (its a nice long one here)

I think I also need to explain that even if its bad its not the end of the world and it doesn't make him less of a man!

Anyway nuff about me

olives hope you're not feeling too uncomfortable so you can get on with the SWI

imps lovely to see you

forgotten everything else I wanted to say

PipIsOutNow · 25/04/2012 16:12

Hello girlies just popping in to ask about OPK? When do I start using them? I'm 2 days preggo now :o !!! And SWI? When to start that? xxx

BeedleTheBard · 25/04/2012 16:36

pip I agree with sparkle , day 8 should be fine as long as you don't have really short cycles. if you're using cheap ones it won't matter if you start to early, its always good to POAS :o and sex every other day is always a good aim (if your DH isn't going to run out of energy)

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 25/04/2012 16:48

I agree with beedle and sparks it largely depends on your cycle length - I had 33ish day cycles and would generally ov CD18+ so would only use them CD15 onwards x
