Ooh yes, me too! Despite lack of shaggage. No EWCM at all today and, despite frequent prodding boobs are not hurting so who knows if I've ov-d yet or not.

To answer your question purple no I'm not temping. Tried a bit last month but am seriously crap at remembering to do it before getting out of bed / taking a big gulp of cold water / at the same time each day. Was disastrous and just made me worry. Might try again next month but we'll see. The OPK also weren't ideal for me as I drink loads of water and can rarely go an hour without needing the loo.

Woo, you ladies have been busy.

Moo my boobs felt like rocks the week leading up to AF both the month I conceived and the month before that. Never noticed it before then.
Also, one of my pumpkin 'seedlings' has shot a full 6 inches in the air without sprouting any proper leaves yet. WTF? Slightly concerned I've bought a climbing variety by mistake- lol!

I have to say, I have never heard of that particular cough medicine. Can we get it here?

It's a gorgeous day here for no reason, was supposed to be icky, so am going to take full advantage. Might see if I can drag FiL away from his painting this afternoon to take me to B&Q and get the stepping stones I want for the garden- they're 4 for 3 at the mo, so feel it would be most stupid not to take advantage.

Here's to newly conceived babies, whether Christmas or no. Don't forget, a due date of 25/12 means you could be 3 weeks earlier or 2 weeks later (according to my consultant)- so either beginning of December or nearly mid January!

In other news, I was laid in bed the other night, and it felt like someone had flicked me from my insides. Hmm. It may be what I think it may be, or it might have been bizarre wind. Either way, I'm monitoring it...

11 sleeps til we find out if Peanut is a He-nut or a She-nut! (also til we find out whether they have some hideous malformation incompatible with life, but trying to ignore that bit, lol.)

Hope you're enjoying the Easter weekend. We've just been out for a long walk along the river, enjoying the nice afternoon.

Rusulka - how exciting, not long to find out whether it's a he-nut or she-nut! I've had a number of friends who have had or about to have DC, and have chosen not to find out. I'd so want to know!!!

Keeping FX that we have three BFPs this month for three Xmas babies!!

Oooh Rusulka tummy flicking sounds very much like bean activity!! Are you hoping for a he or she-nut? Or are you just happy that it's healthy whatever the sex? I know I'd be happy with either as long as it was happy and healthy. But I think secretly we would both like a boy.

My plants are not doing very well at all. I hope when we move that gives them a good kick up the butt!! My tomato that had started to sprout seems to have given up and although I know my peppers have started to sprout they have not yet poked through the soil. It was not this hard to do last year, although I did start a little later, so maybe I need to give it more time.

Alex any idea when your due to ov?

Well temps still really high which I'm bloody we'll pleased about. Feels a bit more real this time (when I supposedly ov'd in Jan my temps were never that convincing and the following AF kinda echoed that). Boobies still sore but nipples getting more so. We go to Bruge on the 16th so think I might test on the 15th (it's also DHs birthday on the 16th). Bruge was supposed to be a boozy few days so best to know if I can or can't before hand. FF is telling me to test on 22nd (day before our anniversary) but will be in London then as well so really want to know before that week takes place!!!

My parents are here, going into Liverpool today and maybe show them the new house. Very excited!!

Rusulka well, peanut gender question... very exciting. I guess it will be good to know, I would def find out, can't imagine not if you can.

Moo glad to hear temps still looking good. Wonder why FF is giving test day of 22, that would be dpo 19, right? very late ( FF doesn't give my test dates because i dont pay them so it's one of my punishments).

flour I hear you on the OPK, I tried but couldn't hold pee and have a life (and I'm crap at drinking water at that). Temps worked out for me in the end, but I'm surprised. There is a good argument to say that lots of sleep and being well hydrated is better for TTC than peeing on sticks and waking up to temp. I even read a thing by some fancy specialist who actually said you should sleep in on weekends, even if you try to temp because the sleep was more important than getting the temps right. Now if someone could just have a chat to my toddler 'bout that whole sleeping late on the weekend, that would be great......

Moo - I think I should ovulate around CD17. That seems to fit in with last month and even the month before that (although FF seems to have been around CD10 but I'm convinced that was wrong - there is also a dip and then temp increase around CD17 on that one, it was just that I wasn't checking anything else so FF perhaps wasn't interpreting as well as it could).
My temps seem slightly higher than usual for the start of the new cycle though - weird.

Purple - it made me laugh about the sleep ins especially with a toddler around! That's the part I'm sure I'll miss most (but very willing to trade for a healthy happy baby!!). It seems to make sense though that good quality sleep (and sleep ins for that matter) would be more important than temps....

Alex for this first time this month I didn't 'believe' FF, even though they have 10,000s of charts to use for analysis and I have a handful of my own. They put me a few days early at a small rise, my temps rose again 'the real rise' to my eye; anyway after three of those FF changed their interpretation which then fitted with mine. Crazy isn't it? Doesn't make us any more or less pg but we kind of need it all to fit.
Btw, high temps at the start of cycle is fine and quite common, I believe; sometimes it takes a bit to get the previous cycle LP 'out of your system'.

Purple because I tend to have anovultory cycles, FF needs at least 2 cycles to determine my usual luteal phase. In 11 cycles this will be cycle 2 for ovulating!! FF suggests waiting 18 days after ovulation because if temps are still high and there is no AF it's a good indication of pregnancy, given that the longest a LP can be is 16 days.

Moo, makes sense I guess. Sound advice that I can't see anyone following! The early test is so tempting....

I need to test before the 16th due to going on holiday. It would be nice to know either way, although 15th would still only make me 11 dpo so I know any negative result might be false.

Moo wow, congratulations on the ovulation! That's brilliant, maybe the HSG reminded your ovaries what they had to do?!

Purple I didn't get on with OPKs either, they were too inconvenient for me, all that pee holding and not drinking...bah! I do love temping though, 6am I take my temperature, don't look at it, go back to sleep and check it when I wake up later. All I need it to do now is rise to around 36.20 degrees c and stay there for a few days!

Hmm, what's going on with me...well, the spotting has finally stopped (thank fuck, 20 days of bleeding/spotting was really getting me down!). I'm continuing to the get the faintest of faint BFP which is vexing. The last one was on friday, 22 days after miscarrying. Other good news is that cm is watery at the moment (woo!) and we are managing to have some good quality lovin' every other day. All that's missing now is ovulation...I'd normally have ovulated about three days ago but I guess the rules are out of the window for now.

Morning ladies - hope everyone had a good Easter and bank holiday. I had a lovely time with my parents. It was really nice. Only one day in work and then I'm off until the 23rd :)

Well 7dpo here. Temps are way up. Have had some mild cramping in the uterine area since yesterday afternoon. Sometimes more intense but generally barely noticeable. The boobage area is excruciatingly painful though. Hurt a little in the shower but hurts more when my dressing gown went on afterwards. They had kinda calmed down yesterday but back with a venegance this morning. Have also been really gripey. Had a meltdown whilst playing Trivial Pursuit on Saturday night, to the point where i was almost in tears and again on Sunday for something else that I would normally not get so worked up about. It's very irrational. I am trying not to SS but it is really hard. I know I shouldn't but I am thinking of testing tomorrow, just because it feels different this time. If nothing then i need to wait until Sunday because i am going away on Monday and it would be nice to know before I go away.

Any news from anyone else?

Moo I'm not ss-ing this cycle! I made a (mental) list of all the things that were "symptoms" in my last (batshit) cycle to remember to disregard them this time. I'm allowed to take notice of any "symptom" that is not on that list of course. That said, I haven't found one yet...it was a long list.... It's actually working at the moment and I feel less batshit.
You know the craziness of testing on 8 dpo, so I'm not even going to tell you.

If I'm honest, apart from the sore boobage and mild on/off cramping, there's not really much else to spot.

I know, the thing is once you start taking notice of your body, there is all kinds of crazy stuff going on.
As well as testing when you shouldn't you could also waste tons of time exploring pg test stats of the Internet when you should be working...just saying, :)
