Wet room is a very grand name for what is, essentially, a damp cupboard.

And you have to be careful how you stand in the shower or the loo roll gets wet.

And we do live in a really dodgy area!

Shock Shock What's a Lock 'n' Lock? What's a Lock 'n' Lock??

These Pops are Lock 'n' Locks. You need to introduce them into your life. Once you do, I assure you that no other Tupperware/plastic food storage solutions will cut the mustard.

Tsk. What's a Lock 'n' Lock indeed.

Imps7 · 28/03/2012 15:21

I'm intrigued to see if any marmalade is pregnant...

farfallarocks · 28/03/2012 15:31

maybe I am in optimistic today, less mentalling, brooking that everything is fine. Les mentalling but I am not sure it will go fully until the magical 12 weeks.

imps sorry to hear about the sex fail and your DH, they really do feel the pressure and often don;t talk about it. It won't happen tonight, you mark my words, but I understand your frustration all too well. Its very very common when you have been TTC for longer than 1 month it seems.

I am loving all the antics on here :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 28/03/2012 15:31

We have Locn 'n' Locks too Imps they are my favourite forms of tupperware Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 28/03/2012 15:34

Glad to hear you are feeling more optimistic Far we are all here when you do have a wobble Smile

GenericDietCola · 28/03/2012 15:35

OK, so you all think I'm posh but I live oop north in a Victorian terrace and we all have cellars up here so there! Soon it will be posh though as it will have a wet room (copying Whim) and spotlights and the main bit will become a playroom-come-guest room-come-office. Hurrah!

Far and Shiny I had similar cravings in pregnancy and it's totally normal and fine, plus it keeps the nausea at bay. Brooking for you both and your babies on board. I do need to know the knicker checking methodology though.

GenericDietCola · 28/03/2012 15:38

I've got some copycat lock 'n' locks from Poundland Imps and I luff them.

Maybe my DH has a man room. The attic bedroom is all his. OK, so now I sound really posh because we have a room we can devote to DH, but really it is the 3rd bedroom and for now we don't have anyone to sleep in it, but in 9 months' time that's all going to change.

Imps7 · 28/03/2012 15:41

Glad you're feeling more optimistic Far - and so you should - Farfette is there to stay!

Generic I bet you permanently wear a tiara. You do, don't you? See? Told you: Posho!

OH has a shed and a garage, but he isn't allowed any storage of his own (other than for clothes (and I was reluctant to even give him that)) in the house.

GenericDietCola · 28/03/2012 15:47

Now Imps we don't even have a garage, so we're not really all that posh. We have to park our car on the road with the common folk.

McPopcornMouseNFries · 28/03/2012 15:47

Ohhhh I had cheapo rip off lock-n-locks (obv not called that for legal reasons) but they're poo, the locky bits snapped off after 2 uses :(

Maybe instead of a drawer, DH has what is known as a "crap bowl" but I still find random tubes of glue, stray screw drivers and pairs of glasses in random locations - but at least I can shove them back in his crap bowl. Tbf I'm just pleased I managed to get him to keep his bike in the garage instead of the sodding effing dining room after three fecking years - I can cope with glue tubes!

:o :o at damp cupboard, sparkle

NoMaybeAboutIt · 28/03/2012 15:57

Wow, the men in our lives all sound rather similar.

Grin at Generic wearing a tiara. Ooh, and I bet she has those silk full length gloves too. Hang on a cotton picking minute. We don't happen to have royalty in our midsts do we....

I too would like to know how to sublty pant check. Oooh, and how to subtly pull up tights. I haven't mastered that one.

BeedleTheBard · 28/03/2012 15:59

beedle makes note never to mention the cellar or the wetrooms for fear of being considered posh. Maybe the possession of lock 'n' lock tubs will ensure that I don't get thrown off the thread before I confirm my BFP Grin Probably also a good idea not to mention how many man rooms DP has (because they're in the cellar).

sparkle do you think whims wanted to check her damp cupboard whilst in the queue at Primark? Grin

Time to go to the gym, will be back for more giggles later

Imps7 · 28/03/2012 16:03

I may go and check my damp cupboard now in order to give OH a CM update.

GenericDietCola · 28/03/2012 16:08

At damp cupboard!

Ooh and Beedle has cellars and wetrooms - wow!

Maybe you guessed it - I am royalty, but which one hmmm?

Imps what do you put in the subject line? Pant snot update? Damp cupboard update?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 28/03/2012 16:10

'Damp forming, hurry home and attend' should be the message subject Grin

Generic I have you down as a Sara Phillips. One of the normal ones.

But seen as Beedle has multiples of all things posh...

whimsicalname · 28/03/2012 16:10

Omg is generic Kate middleton? They must be trying by now.

GenericDietCola · 28/03/2012 16:31
Imps7 · 28/03/2012 16:31

Generic are you Prince Charles??

Subject for work emails = "Update", for personal emails = "CM Update". Henceforth for both is shall be "DC Update".

Grin
NoMaybeAboutIt · 28/03/2012 17:21

Brilliant Sparks Grin

I would love to see the look on your OH's face Imps I now really want some marmalade nom nom

BeedleTheBard · 28/03/2012 17:25

Love the new code sparks , we'll have to get that in the title of the next thread Grin

I do feel the need to point out that we only have one cellar, and that all bathrooms here are wetrooms, so we're really not that posh Blush
