Argh, and be welcome to our new pirate Fred. Be finding yourself a parrot and a wooden leg and hop on board for the trip of a lifetime. Argh.
If ye be new and wantin' to join our motley crew, be filling in the BESHtionnaire application below. Argh.

  1. Do you like gin? (This is compulsory, you must say 'Yes')

  2. Men - are you a gold digger or a cradle snatching cougar?

    a) weewee
    b) poopoo
    c) foofoo
    d) none, you just pray to the baby Jebus.

That's a "c", right there...

  2. Is R2D2:
    a) an adorable robot from Star Wars.
    b) the source of all evil.

  3. Number of pets?

  4. Inappropriate (read: weird) crush of shame?

George Michael. He'd be off the drugs and on the straight and narrow ('scuse pun) if we ever met...

  1. Lesbian crush?

  2. What are your views on camping?

  3. How much money have you spent on sticks you then urinate on?
    i) Oh nothing, I'll probably catch first time and then get the doctor to confirm it.
    ii) Over 100 quid
iii) I opened an account on ebay solely for the purpose of purchasing sticks

Finally, tell us how you found the BESH and why you'd like to join us pliz.

Fanks for the support, norf. I really don't need to save them, cos they like to do their IUI testing by blood test anyway (16 days after IUI, which I cannot imagine ever reaching, but hey). And OMG it is IUI from next week...

Job stuff sucks. I may have had cake with the coffee.

Northey · 13/03/2012 15:08

As soon as AMNH buggers off on his field trip (twenty minutes time) I am straight off out to the local coffee place to have cake of the large squishy sort I normally regretfully pass by.

Will you get any sort of payout from current job?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/03/2012 15:24

No payout, as it is budget cuts and I am on a temporary contract. Plenty of warning I have to admit, so I should be able to line something up when it comes to it...

Enjoy the squidgy cake. You might already by halfway out the door...

Northey · 13/03/2012 15:57

Indeed, I am sputtering crumbs over my phone as I type. It was carrot cake in the end. With frosting an inch thick. And I'm not going to the gym either. Fuck it. I'm going to buy a bag of Maltesers, get into bed and watch old episodes of Frasier on YouTube.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 16:19

Whatever makes you happy norf.
Have just driven past a house fire near me :( bad memories. Bad traffic while they deal with it.
I'm still minorly droidal, back still aching but not as bad. Have been troughing down chocolate today - medicinal you see.
lemony boo about the job. Are there similar posts around? Do you fancy a change?
dor have you crawled out from the desk yet?

OP posts:
Northey · 13/03/2012 16:22

Oh no, faithy, are you ok. It must have been a nasty jolt to see that.

Northey · 13/03/2012 16:33

Also, please talk me out of torturing myself by going to an NCT nearly new sale this weekend. Just to look at things...

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 16:34

Very weird. Was trying to decide if it was worse than ours...maybe, looked like they took some of the roof tiles off. Tried to decide if day or night would be worse then realised it's shit regardless! At least we're moving forward now. It's been three months now. Agreed on kitchen redesign yesterday which is good :)
Just having a cuppa and waiting for Glee to come on. May have a gf chocolate muffin in a minute...

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 16:37

I really wouldn't Northey....that's just torture. I tend to search the co-op ads, such good deals for second hand stuff. But no. Can't do it.

OP posts:
Northey · 13/03/2012 16:43

I will be sensible. Sigh.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 16:51

Crap, isn't it? It's getting me down lately.
My diffed friend put on fb she was pram shopping with her Dad which of course she is perfectly entitled to do I was Envy

OP posts:
Northey · 13/03/2012 17:19

I am going to have to hide some more recently diffed or delivered friends. I've just had enough for a while.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 18:11

It's just too much isn't it?
Bleurgh. I feel like I should exercise. I am instead eating rather stale doritos and watching Big Bang :)
I'll go running tomorrow.....Hmm

OP posts:
Northey · 13/03/2012 18:15

I'm feeling heavy limbed and in need of vegging as well. CD 34, so I could be premenstrual, if we go by the cycle before last.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 18:18

I feel rotten :(
Howling was the cycle before last northus?

OP posts:
Northey · 13/03/2012 18:29

34 days. And last one was 74. Sigh.

Rotten how? Emotionally down? Or physically grotty?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 13/03/2012 18:34

Afternoon fellow crew.

Crap about the job drizzel

Sorry everyone's feeling a bit delicate. This TTC malarkey is so bloody drawn out and gets soooo boring.

Anyone seen the post in aibu- apparently mn is full of ladies using foul sailor language...

Am determined to drag myself out for a run in a little bit. Turned down a takeaway with ghj. V proud of myself. Unfortunately, he's now sulking.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 19:11

All 3 Northey....for some reason I'm more disillusionef with ttc than normal. Keep thinking it's like failing and resitting an exam over and over again.....
Good positive attitude sinking

I have just about crawled out from under the desk. I then went to acupuncture and as soon as the pins were in I slept solidly for about 40 minutes! :D

Just packing as we are away for a few days tomorrow :) We need time just the two of us.

Obviously, I have to have a little bit of poking around from my favourite gynecologist to see if my tubes are blocked in the morning though. Lovely!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 20:26

What a nice holiday treat dor. I hope it goes ok. Not sure if you've had the tips already, I took painkillers before. I took a pad - I put the one they gave me to walk to the loo - I spotted most straight after. Then I binned that monster pad! and popped my own on to travel home with. The staff were luffly and sweet to me. They also turned the screens round so I could see it. Find it weirdly fascinating to see my insides on screen!
Enjoy your holibobs. Get him to buy you some pearls! :)

FriendofDorothy · 13/03/2012 20:31

Handy hints indeed. I am sure I will be fine - my luvverly boss has said I don't need to go back to work afterwards so I can have a little nap before we get the boat. We are just going to jersey for a few days (mainly because The Mister wants to go to the zoo!) but I am just looking forward to a couple of days away!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 20:38

My friend lives in St Helier and my and our housemate went to stay for her 21st. It was ace :) The zoo is brilliant. The Meerkats were my favourite!

Just back from run and ghj is out of his funk and cooking me dinner. Excellent.

Hope holibob lovely and relaxing dor. It sounds like you could be doing with a rest.

You can have whatever positive vibe type things you can rub off me faithy. I'm all about the PMA today

northey- I feel your pain- the only thing worse than droid is a droid that can't keep to a plan. Stupid droid.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/03/2012 21:33

Thanks sinky! Hopefully I'll feel up to running tomorrow. Think my pains are actually droidal in nature...
Glad to hear ghj is feeling chirpier.
We're just watching Big fat gypsy wedding, featuring a family from near us, MSB and I have met some of them!

OP posts:
Northey · 13/03/2012 21:40

I have stuffed my face all evening and am feeling happier too. Now googling romantic things to do in Paris (the eventual conclusion of my earlier posts about where to go for a romantic holiday - thanks all!).
