Have you had them before? Are they particularly aggressive? My local ones are quite sweet, and respond quite well to a polite but firm "thank you so much for calling, but I already attend x church and am happy there at the moment. Thank you though" and then shutting the door.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 07/04/2012 12:15

Good for you Northey. Hope it's fun. I luff a spontaneous visit!
bugs tis awful isn't it? They have an answer to everything. Generally nice but once they've targeted you they just keep coming!
Well we've popped out - seen my sister who is poorly - donated unused eye drops since she's picked up conjunctivitis - I had when in hospital. Got a dvd boxset to chill out over the weekend. MSB looked at me at the shops and suggested it was time to head home since I looked like I was flagging! All building my stamina up though :)

Hello BESHes. Hope all is well.

I am ok but a bit knackered today. Had an early start this morning and went and did a carboot sale. Didn't make much cash but managed to make more than I spent!

The droid still hasn't made an appearance. I definitely feel like it is coming but I have quite a lot (for me anyway) of creamy CM and my temps still haven't got a clue what they are doing! All very odd.

The Mister and I are off to see Peter Pan at the theatre tonight with my cousins and their hilarious kids so it should be fun.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 07/04/2012 18:20

Well sounds like a moderate success dor, making more than you spent is a always good! Did you temp pop back up then?
Well we hired The Walking Dead I am peeing my pants a bit scared! Insisted I can't watch any too late at night, I'll be dreaming about zombies! But I am enjoying chilling out with MSB! :)

eurochick · 07/04/2012 19:01

The Walking Dead is good! I watched it last year. KFZK (as his name suggests) loves zombie films. So I have watched quite a lot of the genre and that is one of the better ones.

I have spent most of the day sorting out holiday photos. I have done my project 365 for March and uploaded a selection on to facebook. I just have the photobook and some hard copy prints for frames to sort out now and then I am done. I've also done a load of ironing as there was far too much for the cleaner with all the post-holiday washing and we've planted most of the plants we picked up yesterday. Oh, and I have baked a chocolate orange cake to take to the friends we are visiting tomorrow. I would have preferred to do it in the morning so we don't have to smell the cake and see the cake without being able to eat the cake but we need to leave too early for that so we will just have to resist!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 07/04/2012 19:33

Well we've sat and watched all the first season with me requesting mini breaks due to the intensity! and MSB was all set to run back to Blockbuster to hire season 2 til I pointed out it's not been on our tvs yet! They're showing season 1 on channel 5 again in anticipation of showing season 2. Since they're showing it late at night and we have no means of recording we thought we'd hire season 1 and should be able to watch season 2 from home :)
I admire the project 365. Such dedication!
euro you sound like a domestic goddess with all the ironing and baking! That cake sounds amazing! x x

OP posts:
eurochick · 07/04/2012 22:37

I am very far from a domestic goddess! I haven't picked up our iron in months but there was no way the cleaner could cope with everything this week! I enjoy baking but I am not sure this cake makes me a domestic goddess - it caught a little. :(

Season 2 is on Sky at the moment I think. I'm hoping it will be out of dvd soon.

FriendofDorothy · 07/04/2012 22:46

I am doing project365 too and I am really enjoying it but finding it a really big challenge. My pics are in a variety of places including the 365 website, my blog and fab if anyone is interested!

I had a lovely time out tonight with my cousins and their families. The show was an amateur one but was really good.

faithy - my temps have popped up again a bit - guess I have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.

eurochick · 07/04/2012 23:30

On busy days I sometimes completely forget about it Dor. I have had to cheat on about 10 days so far and use a photo I took a few days ago instead. But I am still enjoying it at the moment.

eurochick · 07/04/2012 23:33

I will message you my 365 project so you can have a look if you are interested.

FriendofDorothy · 08/04/2012 09:17

Thanks... I have followed you.

What's everyone up to today?

I am off to church in a bit and then we have lunch at home and my sister and the kids and my aunt and her son & his fiancee are also coming.

CaveMum · 08/04/2012 11:30

Morning all, no news to report here. CD20 and still no signs of egg laying Sad

No real plans for the long weekend, probably more house sorting/tidying! I'm going to bake a carrot cake this afternoon, but other than that bugger all is intended [bugrin]

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 08/04/2012 14:50

We made it to church [busmile] first time in 6 weeks. Took Dnephew so my sister and bil had some time to get sorted - she'd volunteered to do lunch but hasn't been too well. He seemed to enjoy himself anyways. Just finished dinner, now relaxing with a drink - them with booze, me with a cuppa!- watching Man U. All in all, not a disagreeable Easter Sunday!

Northey · 08/04/2012 15:00

Have had a v healthy and ovulation-encouraging 5 hour walk in the woods with sister. Now having bacon sandwiches for lunch before heading off to meet AMNH at Newport (which, as a place, must surely be the least arousing in the world. But hopefully we will manage a pre-bed shag anyway).

FriendofDorothy · 08/04/2012 18:16

Ooo so you know what's a bit freaky? In my precious post I said that my cousin and his 'fiancee' were coming to lunch - well I wrote this without thinking and should have written 'my cousin and his girlfriend' as they were not engaged yet... except today she had a big sparkler on her finger after he proposed on Thursday! I think I must be psychic!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 08/04/2012 18:43

Spooky dor!!!! Well that's lovely news [bugrin]
norf walk sounds good. I can't wait to be well enough to get out and about like that! Let's hope it kicks your ovary into gear! Did you ever see that music video send off of New York by Alicia Keys, Newport? Google it, tis hilarious!
We we've feasted on turkey and cake. Delicious! Dnephew was a bit whiney til he was fed but was then being adorable playing pee-pow and doing Buzz Lightyear impressions To infin and BEyond! then leaping bmfrkm great heights! Watched some tv and have now come home. We're chilling out in bed watching NCIS revelling in the knowledge that people with dcs would envy us! Luff that I get another day off with MSB tomorrow.

Howdy folks. Back from hen doo which involved 600miles+ of travel and being nice to several smug preggos. But now home and enjoying the rest of Easter with ghj. With a glass of my expensive, lovely birthday red wine. Wine for all partaking.

Got home to a letter to arrange my clinic appt to discuss ivf. Shit bags. And this time, I don't get an appointment, I have to ring to make it. I assume to weed out those feckers who have won a baby.

So... Last chance for a fufc success. And ov day, by calculation, was yesterday. When on hen doo 300miles from ghj.

Grump grump grump grump. Glad you're feeling better faithy, congrats on the v healthy walk northey, [bushock] at dors psychicness, and cavey- I'm kicking the crap out of your shitty cycle as I type. Hope that helps..

Northey · 09/04/2012 07:03

Let's hope i am equally psychic, dor. I just had an incredibly vivid and detailed dream about you getting a bfp.

Argh at ivf appointment-making, flamey. Fingers crossed for a miraculous ironidiff, despite the missed ov-sechs.

FriendofDorothy · 09/04/2012 07:49

oooo northey let's hope you are right .

FriendofDorothy · 09/04/2012 07:49

ooops... didn't mean to send then.

So on the basis of my most recent chart today here - what do you think I should do? POAS?

Northey · 09/04/2012 08:08

Heavens yes! Have you already weeed? Or could you squeeze out another fmu drop?

FriendofDorothy · 09/04/2012 08:34

I have already wee'd! I have to locate a chemist that is actually open today so I can go and buy a test! In guernsey most shops are shut on bank holidays!

Northey · 09/04/2012 08:43

Gah! So would you be planning to test tomorrow? Or would you buy two for a random bonus wee today as well?

FriendofDorothy · 09/04/2012 08:45

I think I might accidentally do one later. I don't want to feel hopeful though in case it's a BFN.
