Laura how the divil argh you?! I agree, that dinghy looks precarious....
Well doc was happy to sign me off work and is adamant I shouldn't go back til I'm well and doing all I'd usually do around the house. I'm shattered from even going - the GP practice is in the village where our permanent home is, about 3 miles from here. I'm still needing the strong painkillers so couldn't drive and got a taxi. It's been a fortnight but I really miss driving! Managed to get my eyebrows waxed while I was in the village so I look a bit more presentable! Then MSB picked me up and we popped home. It's looking so nice, all fresh paint, so light and airy. Hoping to be home by the end of the month! Grin
I've started spotting so I suspect Droid is only a day away. Still I have the good drugs to manage the pain. While I'm sorry yours came bugs, a 14 day LP is encouraging! Sounds like your cycles are settling down a bit.

...and I'm officially out of the running for a 2012 baybee :(

Sorry to hear that faithy

[forces droid to walk the plank]

[lines up various rum & gin based cocktails]

FriendofDorothy · 05/04/2012 22:01

Blimey, have we all synched or something?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 05/04/2012 22:15

Weird huh dor? You and I have been synced for a few cycles now I think. I'm trying to see positives - at least I get another cycle when the first couple of days I'm not hobbling round at work. Um...I have great pain relief to hand?!

OP posts:
FriendofDorothy · 05/04/2012 22:27

Well the droid is due Saturday i think so almost synched anyway.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 06/04/2012 08:16

Sorry about the droidal invasion faith and its imminence dot. But I am not sync-ing as it would mean a LP of about 9/10 days. I am due next Tues/Wed.

Nice cocktails, laura me like! Especially on a Good Friday morning. I am spending lots of time with in-laws and own family this weekend, so I hope you all have fab easters (esp the religious types, hope you're well enough to go to church, faithy).

Well done on the normalising cycles bugs

eurochick · 06/04/2012 09:28

Morning ladies. I mean, ah-ha, me hearties.

I am sitting here contemplating a run - my first in a month due to being away on holiday and then having an evil cough when I got back which put any kind of exercise out of the question. I reckon it has gone enough now, to give it a go. I just hope I haven't lost too much fitness. This always happens. Every time I build up my fitness level and increase my speed or distance, I either get ill or really busy at work and end up back to square one.

I'm on CD6 so thankfully evil droid is fecking off.

Northey · 06/04/2012 09:55

Arrrrr, you scurvy wenches.

Shock at droidal syncage.

Hope run goes well, euro. As long as you're properly recovered from cold, the fitness will come back, as you know. But it's still horrid having to get started again. I was going to try to re-learn to run this holidays, but nearly a week has gone, and this morning I am eating ancient leftover quality street in bed...

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/04/2012 13:05

Yes we're a bit like Nuns. Actually, with it being Easter weekend, I'm sure it's time to watch The Sound of Music again!
Well Droid went ballistic overnight. Worst in a long time. Well, I knew chances were slim this cycle. Here's hoping I'm better by the time I lay my egg this cycle.
Must have worn myself out yesterday - I was out for about 2 hours and managed to cook dinner when I got back. I slept for 13 hours Shock right call not going back to work next week methinks?!
Did you run euro? Run for the both of us. I can't wait to get out there again. I'm still walking like a penguin so not ready just yet!

Northey · 06/04/2012 17:29

Trying to decide whether to go to a Good Friday service tonight. I haven't really been going to church since the ectopic pregnancy last year (I tried, but then I get into the building and am overcome with furious and unhappy rage), but I sort of feel I might almost be ready (in the sense that dying on a cross kind of puts a lost baby into perspective). But I don't knoooooow.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/04/2012 18:13

I say go but of course I would! if it helps you. It might help you feel some peace? I'm really keen to go to church on Sunday. I've not been well enough for weeks! It's been at least 5. That's the longest since we found our church 3 years ago. I've been out to the supermarket today and managed ok - I was baking by the time I reached the checkout though! - so I'm hoping I'll be.well enough.
Just sitting watching Breaking Dawn with one of my best friends who came over to visit. Tea and toffee popcorn. Marvelous! :)

OP posts:
eurochick · 06/04/2012 19:24

I did manage to run. Hurrah! And it wasn't toooooooooooo tough. My heart rate was higher than before my holiday though, so I must have lost a bit of fitness (or the last bit of the cough is affecting how much oxygen I can get in me). It was good being out there. It was a nice crisp morning. And I worked out that if I unzip my running jacket, my shadow looks like Wonder Woman. Grin

We celebrated Easter in the time honoured British secular way - by going to the garden centre. A few of our plants had died over the winter and left gaps that needed filling. We took my parents with us as garden advisors. They've played this role before. We are both rubbish and need to be told what will grow in the terrible soil we have in our postage stamp of a garden. It was nice to see them though. And we exchanged easter eggs. [busmile]

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/04/2012 19:29

Good for you euro! My running top only unzips part way so I envy the wonder woman shadow! I will.be significantly impaired when I start running again....
We are rubbish at gardening too. Currently our method has simply been to hack everything back with the ethos if it doesn't survive, it shouldn't be in our garden anyway! [busmile] But I think it will get a lot more attention this year since we'll have nowt to do inside the house!
I bought us Easter eggs today, just because really! Yum...

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/04/2012 20:37

Gah, why do diffedness announcements on t'other place coincide with Droid? Is it the universe taking the piss?!

OP posts:
Northey · 06/04/2012 21:54

Exactly that, faithy.

Went to church. It was ok.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/04/2012 21:59

Glad you went and it was ok norf.
MSB suggested we watch a film Juno of all films! Honestly. Now he's fallen asleep on the sofa and is snoring next to me
After reading that Fred this week about alcohol and conception, he has agreed to cut his alcohol consumption down a bit more to help his swimmers. He has cut down but still drinks way more than the recommended amount for ttc. We've agreed to meet somewhere in the middle.
Aibu to be tempted to rip open the Easter egg I bought for Sunday? I really want chocolate...

OP posts:
KatAndKit · 07/04/2012 06:53

YANBU. I have eaten two easter eggs already.

Northey · 07/04/2012 07:30

Me too, kit. Do it, faith.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 07/04/2012 07:37

I realised I had some gf wafer bars that taste just like kitkats and had one of those. Can't guarantee I won't eat one today though! :) kat you're allowed! How are you feeling?
Grr MSB woke at 6.30 and woke me up. Want to sleeeeeep! Now I can't.

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 07/04/2012 07:50

oops norf I didn't mean to imply you weren't allowed!

OP posts:
Northey · 07/04/2012 08:23

Have got some M&S choc chip cookies in the cupboard, and am going to trough them all as soon as I have made a cup of coffee into which to dip them.

AMNH is off away, so no sechsing today.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 07/04/2012 08:52

I have just enjoyed some gf choc chip cookies with a cuppa MSB made me. No sechsing here either due to Droid. Dull plans for today include collecting a prescription - woo!

OP posts:
eurochick · 07/04/2012 08:59

Morning ladies. Why is it that I always wake up early at the weekends? Meh.

I am making myself wait until tomorrow for my Easter eggs. I am all about the delayed gratification. :)

Northey · 07/04/2012 10:41

My weekend is suddenly a lot happier - I am sneaking off home to visit my little sister. Sod the cost. I can't bear 48 hours on my own in that place.
