Oh Cupcakes, sorry to hear about bloody AF Sad, if there was a line on the test though then it sounds like maybe it was a chemical so perhaps your body is just warming up for next month Smile

Hi Smegs, nice to see you but sorry that AF has made another unwelcome visit Sad Hope the tart was yummy, certainly sounds it!

Meant to say yesterday that please don't worry about being old Whims after your DILF incident the other day. I was only saying the other day about how the junior doctors at work all look/seem so young these days and I find myself trying to mother them whereas 10 years ago I used to want to shag them and sometimes did! Perversely I do occasionally find myself attracted to younger men Did push the boundaries the other day at work though - I was examining a injured rugby player's thigh and was thinking about how my job has some perks Wink Then I looked more closely at his notes and found that the 6'2" hunk was in fact 15 Shock WTF! I'm sure he is very popular with the girls at school! Grin Grin

Right, I'm off to see how Biscuits is doing!

P.s First Response double packs are BOGOF in Superdrug and they have free delivery until 12th so I've just paid £20.98 for 8 tests including delivery - bargain!

I was so busy catching up on the PSEPPs thread I didn't get a chance to say good morning here Grin

Boo hiss to AF cupcakes and smegs hope its the last visit for a long time

whimsicalname · 09/03/2012 08:39

Morning all. Just a quick one. Yay to biscuits.
sparks i always think you notice preggos more at this time of year when the big coats come off.
Busy day with builders here. I'm trying not to watch as the least gifted of them attempts to manoeuvre a wheelbarrow down stairs.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/03/2012 08:49

I am so excited for Biscuits and Too for later on! Just think ladies, this will be all of us in 9 months time Smile

Hope those builders are behaving themselves Whim

I am at home in my pjs. It's bliss! Off to docs later. Now if only I could convince the puppy to sleep too....

GenericDietCola · 09/03/2012 08:49

Hooray for Biscuits' news!

Imps how are you today? Any more spotting? I hope that bi'hatch stays away.

Hi everyone else, busy day here today so will be absent until later.

Imps7 · 09/03/2012 09:38

Whims, I feel your pain - just focus on the fact that they have insurance so your premiums should not be affected.

Maybe I damn well hope that your GP can mend you up good and proper today. Continual illness not big or clever and should not be allowed.

Generic, I'm fine thanks - no more spotting but temps are falling and AF is definitely imminent - I can feel it in my wombly area. However, I am going to have to spend some time today figuring out why I am so stressed - for the last 2 days I've been gagging while brushing my teeth and filling the dishwasher and have had eczema on my inbows (inner elbows) and ankles - both absolutely classic symptoms of stress which I had all through my final year at uni, my legal practice course and when I was a trainee and NQ solicitor. However, I'm trying to remember was when the last time I had it and I think it must have been about 5 years ago. I really can't figure out what is making me so stressed that these things would come back. Job - fine, money worries - ever present but fine, TTC - no worse than usual, family - fine, general health - fine. Really don't know what it is but there is something causing me great concern, clearly Confused

Sorry, that was a bit me me me, wasn't it?

morning al, off for a catch up see y'all in a bit x

ScarlettInSpace · 09/03/2012 09:44

ALL obv Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/03/2012 09:45

Oh Imps that doesn't sound good at all. It's funny sometimes how our bodies know we are stressed without us actually knowing it. Maybe you are run down physically rather than mentally stressed? Are you sure you are not diffed though?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/03/2012 09:46

You can call me Al Grin Grin

Imps7 · 09/03/2012 10:09

I'm definitely not diffed Al, am 100% sure of that - am feeling proper AF-y and the spotting last night is totally normal.

I guess I could be a bit run down as I did have a cold last week, but I've been ill/tired before and not has the stressy signs. Gah, now I'm wondering if I'm stressed because I don't know why I'm stressed Confused Grin

I guess you're right, Moaning Shabby-Looking Zombie, I guess life's general wear and tear is catching up with me. Right, I can stop worrying about it now!

GenericDietCola · 09/03/2012 10:23

I know I said I wouldn't be back, but I had to say something to Imps - I prescribe a right good sicky for at least Monday to Wednesday next week, lady. You need rest - sounds like all the stress in your life is finally coming out (redundancy etc).

Maybe I understood your song reference! Hope you are still in PJs and relaxing!

Wish I was at home today - work is crap at the moment, lots of changes going on and uncertainty about the future. I would be looking elsewhere if I wasn't TTC but I really want to maternity benefits my employer offers goddammit!

ScrambledSmegs · 09/03/2012 10:32

Yay for Biscuits and her little boy! Have to admit to a little at "no-one is this incontinent" Grin

Imps sorry she got you too. Bit crap innit?

Maybe are you still sick? You poor thing! I hope the doctor can give you something to help you feel better soon.

Tart was delicious and very easy to make. It's a biggie (10 inch) but DH, my parents and I managed to inhale the lot. In fact, DH scoffed it in double quick time and informed me that I should buy it again as it was the best he'd ever tasted. He refused to believe I'd made it till I showed him the recipe! Cheeky bugger.

CD1 here, I think, which takes my cycle this time round to 23 days. Not so bad really, and I haven't had mid-cycle bleeds either. Now I have to call the clinic and make an appointment for my HSG (woo-hoo!). I'll go in for my blood tests on monday too. It's all happening :)

ScarlettInSpace · 09/03/2012 10:33

Serves me right for having a RL Grin

Someone want to tell me what's new? Apart from maybe turning into one of Paul Simon's weirder song lyrics.

Who's next to confirm?

I've managed to get through W1 of 2WW, am not expecting pre-AF symptoms to start early/mid next week with the witch landing on her broomstick next weekend - may arrange a welcoming party, lots of people with spears point upwards so she can't park anywhere near me - anyone fancy some witch burning next weekend Wink

TFIF Friday...

ScrambledSmegs · 09/03/2012 10:35

Yikes, I type slowly! Morning, Popcorn and Generic! I second Generic on the sickie front, Imps, sounds like you definitely need a break.

Imps7 · 09/03/2012 10:43

Are you suggesting that we don't have a RL Scarlett, hmmmm? Grin

Progress is clearly being made Smegs - it's all moving in the right direction. Hope that they HSG can be booked pronto and there isn't some ridiculous waiting list. Was the tart you made the one you linked to yesterday? Praise indeed from your DH Grin. I remember when I first made a curry from scratch for some friends - one of them said "wow, this is just as good as a takeaway". Err, thanks. I think.

Thanks for your kind words, all - I think a sicky will go down a treat.

haha not at all imps Grin I was just a bit shocked to discover that having not posted since Monday this is no longer in my Threads I'm On Shock

I'm going to look at puppies this weekend Grin and having sadi to OH that I absolutely won't buy the first one I see, i've seens photos of these little bundles of chaos and already decided which one I want Blush

What's everyone elses plans for the WE?

ScrambledSmegs · 09/03/2012 10:51

Aargh, have to wait till the 20th! I missed the last slot for next week by minutes, apparently. Oh well, it will be CD12 so maybe just enough time to SWI this cycle. And get my post-HSG guaranteed BFP [grin}

Yes, it was the tart I linked to Imps. It was great - I didn't need half as much polenta as the recipe specified though! Maybe my measuring cups aren't US compatible, but it seems strange that it's only the polenta that was out.

PopcornMouseInBoots · 09/03/2012 10:57

Great idea from Generic - I too think a sickie is in order!

Imps and smegs do you reckon it's ok for preggos to eat cold home-cooked quiche? Or would I need to reheat it? Nobody else here will eat it you see, so I'll end up with enough quiche for ten men :o

I've been feeling really down and teary the past two weeks. I think it's just a mixture of the incredibly fatigue (I am in bed at 8pm every night atm and finding it very difficult to concentrate at work) and hormones - I certainly feel happy when I think about being pregnant and about our future iyswim, it's just a general feeling of blah-ness - but I do feel everso guilty for feeling like this. I should be overjoyed. DH is a bit exasperated after all the ttc stress, he says I'm never happy :(

PopcornMouseInBoots · 09/03/2012 10:58

Perfectly timed, smegs ! When do you usual ovulate?

ScarlettInSpace · 09/03/2012 11:01

smegs my hyscosy was on CD10 and the gynae said to go for it like the clappers this month [we duly obliged Blush ]
