Normally between CD12 and CD14, I think, although it was CD16 one cycle.

Well, the eggs are cooked Popcorn so as long as it's stored correctly you should be fine Smile

Go for it like the clappers, scarlett?! Interesting medical terminology!

PopcornMouseInBoots · 09/03/2012 12:23

Cheers smegs - Freezer Queen Imps is it freezable?

Imps7 · 09/03/2012 12:33

Pops I have very succesfully frozen quiche in the past, so I say go ferrit. Also think it's perfectly okay for you to eat cold - everything's cooked to no nasties should be harboured.

Crushing fatigue + raging hormones = total emotional chaos for which no apology/guilt is needed, you poor poppet.

[he also said we should 'get on it as soon as possibkle, but please wait til you get home as the hospital frowns on you doing onsite Grin he wasn't the most conventional Grin ]

ScarlettInSpace · 09/03/2012 12:44

popcorn I must say the whole preggers lark looks like terrible hard work, some women like it but I am doing this TTC malarky to have a child, not the in-between bit oh and the time off work haha

PopcornMouseInBoots · 09/03/2012 13:36

I can't even begin to tell you how much I'm looking forward to 9 6 months off work scarlet !

Thanks Imps :)

BeedleTheBard · 09/03/2012 14:23

I think me and DP will be fighting over who gets what with the parental leave, we have 2 months each - the rest we have to fight over is shared equally but can be signed over to the other parent Grin

Imps7 · 09/03/2012 14:34

Happily I don't think OH will want to take over my mat leave. Although if he tries to, I will punch him in the face.

Luckily I earn much less than DH so it's a non-subject :o

His holiday runs April-April though so he's going to save a lot of it til after I pop in October

TheLittleFriend · 09/03/2012 19:58

Hi everyone

I'm knackered today, we had emergency gas man out at midnight as we could smell gas when we went to bed, and ended up having a new meter fitted in the middle of the night as there was a leak! And then someone drove in to dp's car this morning (he wasn't in it, it was parked outside house). Not a great start to the day!

Sorry to not remember what everyone wrote, but me head's not screwed on tonight. I'll try and catch up properly tomorrow.

xx

(oh, very exciting about all the goings-on on the grads thread)

beangrower · 09/03/2012 20:15

Oh Imps - that's just crap isn't it? Why oh why. As ever, you bowl me over with your positive attitude.

Great about Biscuits - so that's DS2 for her is it, or did she have a DD first time round?

Scarlett - have to admit I was one of those weird women who loved pregnancy and birth, although I wonder if I'd be quite so exuberant second time round while looking after my LO. I know a couple of women who have found it much harder with second/third pgs.

Pop - you get that 9 months leave if you can and have a ball. Surely all long-term TTCers should get longer mat leave?! Wink

Little - sounds quite a shocker of a day. I'm betting you're glad it's over.

CupcakesAndCocktails · 09/03/2012 20:54

Evening all,

So exciting about Biscuits baby boy, it doesn't feel so long since her BFP.

Little what a rubbish day, hope you and DH have a nice weekend after all that.

Imps I'm very cross at AF on your behalf. I'll be having a word about her despicable behaviour of late

I can't remember anything else that's been said Blush

I didnt mention it last night as it felt a bit wrong while Biscuits was in labour but I'm quite sure I had a chemical pregnancy. The bleeding stopped yesterday evening for a few hours so I took another test to torture myself even more it had a faint positive. The bleeding then started again and has been like a normal AF since. I retested today and it was negative. I've felt a bit down today but it's made me even more determined to get my BFP this month.

Hope everyone has a great weekend

beangrower · 09/03/2012 21:08

Oh Cupcakes - how supremely disappointing. But hopefully a sort of boost - you are getting there and surely a sticky bean is in the wings? Must be v frustrating for you though.

My acupuncturist tried to pass off my early AF (very dark blood, which is a bit unusual) as some kind of fertilisation but no implantation. I'm not convinced but didn't even test so won't ever know. Actually I suspect an annovulatory cycle myself...

I really hope SWI goes well for you this month. Here's to your BFP.

ScarlettInSpace · 09/03/2012 22:25

Umm has anyone else read the ttc month one thread? Op reckons she dtd on cd6 and now got BFP a week later? Am I the one who thinks this smells a little of BS?

GreenOlives · 10/03/2012 08:11

Oh Cups I thought it sounded like a chemical. I'm so sorry, it sucks Sad. However, like Bean says, sperm is meeting egg so it's only a matter of time before you get one that burrows in and gets comfy. I know how disappointing it is to be so close though, big hugs to you.

Great news about Too on the grads thread too, what a busy 24 hours. Purple is next I think. We need to get filling those gaps ladies! Grin

GreenOlives · 10/03/2012 08:14

Meant to say hope you all have a lovely weekend brookers!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/03/2012 08:57

Oh Cups I am so sorry to hear that, it does sound like a chemical. As the others say though, it is a step closer to a full on sticky BFP. Look after yourself today x

That does sound strange Scarlett Hmm

Bean maybe your lady is right, a step in the right direction? Another 'healthy DH' cycle, and that BFP will be yours.

Little hope that boilers ok today. Was much damage done to the car?

How you feeling today Pops?

Imps I jokingly suggested DH should become a house husband. The look on his face was priceless Grin

Back to the GP yesterday, eyes still infected, and throat is now badly infected. Strong course of antibiotics and more eye drops prescribed. I wish Otis understood so he could let me stay in bed. Unfortunately he is deciding to have a made one and bunny hop all over the sofas. If he wasn't so cute.... Wink

What are everyone's weekend plans?

shinyblackgrape · 10/03/2012 09:02

Hi everyone.

Can I creep back in? Not been on for a few weeks as work being mad. In the interim, have had what looks like two chemical pregnancies. Trying not worry about it but feeling a bit disheartened amend worried something is wrong.

I have 28 day cycles and feel (could be imagining) implantation cramps around day 11 or 12 and worried that's too late in the cycle.

Hope you're all well. Off to catch up

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/03/2012 09:19

Hi Shiny welcome back. So sorry to hear you have been having a tough time of it at the moment. When you say day 11-12, do you mean after ovulation?

shinyblackgrape · 10/03/2012 09:22

Yes - post ovulation. Now worrying that this is too close to AF day ( as would be). Not consulted dr google so this could, of course, be nuts!

shinyblackgrape · 10/03/2012 09:31

Sorry - being unclear. I ovulate on or around day 14 (per opk to verify) them I think I only feel what might be implantation cramps on day 25 or 26 of my cycle (I.e 11 to 12 days post ovulation) I'm worried that as I have a 28 day cycle, this is a bit late in the day.

However I could be completely clutching at straws. W
However, it's happened 2 months in a row so praying in my mind. Not googled as worried I'll find out that I have some progesterone problem and freak myself out!

shinyblackgrape · 10/03/2012 09:33

Oh phew sparkle - I think I luffs you! You've really out my mind at rest. But if you have 28 day cycle and implantation is 14 days post ovulation, AF could be just about to start. So annoying
