In a sharp about turn from Fiji back to TTC and miscarriage, sorry you have had such shit times merc and Lisa. I guess we have all had shit times, that's how we got here. But my heart goes out to other people when I hear of multiple miscarriages etc. I myself have been very lucky with conceiving again so far but I can only imagine combining the two - miscarrying and having difficulty getting pregnant is a devastating double whammy.

Snoopy, that's good to hear you were sick (IYKWIM!) until 20 weeks too! I have never actually been sick but the low level nausea that started at 7 weeks and just made me tired and groggy is still definitely there. It goes occasionally but still there. I can relate to what you say about dreading that part of pregnancy again. And maybe it is because we HAVE had miscarriages that the first trimesters seem to drag longer than anyone elses. I remember with pregnancy number 1 of 2011 thinking gosh my EDD of Sept/Oct doesn't seem long to wait at all! But then three first trimesters later and you're still sick and still tired with nothing yet to show for it (although I realise being in the second trimester is an achievement) and it all feels like a very long time indeed.

free yes I went years ago when I was about 17 and loved it. The people are so friendly and its so beautiful, the golden sands and clear water ooooooooooh I loved to be there now, I'm going to Italy in May so can't really complain

pico sorry I think you asked about cannulas, they are the needles that the put and leave in you vein so they can give you IV stuff like antibiotics etc, if they get it right then its ok but she took 3 attempts and then another nurse came and did it

Send it to me free. I got married on Waya Island. It was like being Robinson Crusoe. Barely anything there, just stunning. The way they live life there is you know so utterly different from ours. After I had stressed about wedding details, when we got there we understood why we didn't get many replies to emails in UK, as they said to me when I stepped off boat "so what time do you want to get married then" ...it' was like meet you down the beach at 5....Fiji time!!
You know what they say about never going back.........just looked at there website and it is now a resort!! What a shame.. hey ho lots of places to see! where do your family live there?

free welcome back! Can't believe you're 17 weeks. Time has flown, from the outside anyway!

lisa sorry you're feeling down. It seems to come and go doesn't it, and I think we all struggle to some extent when someone announces they're pg.

An awful lot of our friends and family have got kids too. I do feel like I'm being left behind as someone said (euro?). I'm nearly 37 but hopefully time is still on my side enough even if it doesn't happen straight away when we ttc again next month(but hey I can hope!), but dh is 41 and I'd always had this idea that he'd be a father by 40.

Enough philosophising... I feel much more human for not being Pred-ed up tbh. The Hydroxy doesn't seem to have much of an effect on me. I certainly don't feel pounded down by bloat (tho I haven't exactly lost much weight/bulk either) or emotionally off kilter. I've got a bit of a blocked nose ATM, first vaguely cold-like thing for as long as I can remember. Maybe that's my immune system duly "tweaked" free are you still taking the Hydroxy?

Mercator great scan news. 8/9 week is a real milestone, fingers crossed!

Is it just me or am I only one slightly addicted to buzz of pred? Off it for couple of days and so tired. Powerful stuff. At first I seem to go for 2/3days with about 2 hrs a night and can carry on, remarkable for me. Although start looking like death after few nights!

I am officially a Super Over from tonight and necking Letrozole too, scary..

I have weaned off the pred now and it has to be said I feel like crap. I am so tired, headaches and sickness. I was going to call in sick today but felt just about ok to go in. I will see what I am like tomorrow. It must be the pred surely??? (by the way - am in no way complaining....if this is what it takes to have a baby then so be it!!)I will post more tomorrow when I am hopefully feeling better!

Ok, I hope I have got this right. It hasn't been updated since Saturday so I have added (hopefully correctly!) 5 days on the dates of all pregnant folk and put TBC for next scan for those who don't know. Lisa I have added you but not sure if I have got your details right as I have forgotten whether you are TTC first child and other details such as high or v high NKC and what other issues there might be - eg thyroid etc.

If you are not on there or need to add/change details do so now while you don't have to go through the day adding thing! Or obviously if you so it another day add the appropriate number of days to the BFPs.

And yes Battery I felt shite when coming off the Pred. I think it take a few weeks to get out the system. I still feel shite quite a bit but have been told by a few further down the line that hopefully 20 weeks will be a 'feeling better' milestone. Mind you, they said that about 12...

lisa i know its hard to focus on the positive , i can do it some days and others i dont make it, its pretty normal i suppose but exhausting .
free you have made my day re pred and moon face, i swear it feels bigger with the weaning off but i havnt been eating as well this week with fruit and veg, i was hpoing not to look like a mess when i go home.

i was wondering about the egg quality, has everyone been checked for it ? maybe mine are rubbish as well. i heard there are a couple of tests that can be done , besides ivf, i may look into it .

still nothing but slight spotting on this side , story of my life ! ate a whole pineapple last night, which was yummy so didint mind but looks like erpc on the cards, im ok with that now and will tell them on wed if nothing happens by then.

free i was born in bombay, we moved to Bahrian when i was 5 and then sydney when i was 15, i cant wait to just go home and sit in the yard!! sorry person that i am.

im just wondering if my fsh test i didnt last year was testing for egg quality, i cant believe my doct or the miscarriage clinic hasnt tested for this, it must be somewhere in my results .

CLA -ovulation likely but not certain with values >10 but 10 but

pico I don't think they test egg quality as a matter of course. The fish test gives an idea of ovarian reserve, ie. amount you have left. You can have egg screening privately. Not sure how much it costs.

Next time the list is updated can someone put in that I'm on Super Ovulation cycle 1 too please? I don't know how to cut and paste on iPad.

kittens you hold your finger on the text for a couple of seconds click select then move the pegs to what you want to cut/copy and click copy. Then plonk your finger where u want to paste and click paste when it appears. Simples. But Not recommended for the list as its too long!! leave that to someone on a pc/laptop I would.

dunnitt how did your scan go today? I hope there has been some growth since the last one.

Hi all- have moved myself up to waiting ot ovulate as I am now on day three of letrezole so we shall see how it goes.

I am currently feeling knackered and dont know if it is maybe the metformin making my blood sugar quite low or that and the letrezole together. Or maybe I just need some early nights. Maybe the pred will wake me up. ;)
You pregnant ladies are probably thinking you don't know the meaing of tired!

Lisa I know what you mean about feeling left behind. I am now officialy the only person amongst my friends who doesn't have children (apart from Free but in her case it won't be for much longer and am keeping literally everything crossed for her).
It can be very hard watching everybody else go off and get pregnant and unfortunately have been in that situation for years. I am 38 and feeling like if it doesn't hurry up and happen it never will......

Pebbles, I say knackered all the time but have been nervous about it since a thread on here were lots of people said they'd been told it meant "worn out from sex"! Actually for those used to ttc that might be true! Poor DH has finally started muttering about our complete absence of sex. I think he would be scared to do "it" too, so is probably looking for some other form
Snoopy I too loved the pred buzz - I'm sure taking it was why I got my last job interview! I probably shouldn't tell Free that in some cases energy doesn't get any better - still knackered and puking at 25 weeks. My last pg was the same, I'm just not cut out for it. But it's just an endurance test to get the baby I try to think.

Glad it's not just me iggi Bring back the pred all is forgiven. Pebbles I reckon it's the Letrozole, although only my first tab last night. I have just had to go back to bed and shut eyes I feel so tried. DS up in night but got to sleep fairly quickly again. got DH grannie over in bit so had to get up and got to do dinner and be sociable. then got dinner party tomorrow night, so already started doing things for that. Just want to curl up under duvet. Hope this wears off so can drag myself down to Amersham sunday. Don't want to miss the meet.

Starting IVF ad CGH next time. As for symptoms - pred since September- Letrozole since October and metformin since November. Not even preggers yet and I've been rattling around. Am glad to be off everything for a while. Very best of luck to those ladies out there still trying to conceive it is so draining month after month on top of rmc. Anyway on a positive note looking forward to Sunday meet up. Hello all

Glad it's not just me Snoopy could have gone to sleep on my desk today felt so shattered. I am out for dinner tonight and at a friends for dinner Saturday night and all I want to do is spend weekend on the sofa and sleep!!

Yes, I remember people saying that about the word knakcered when I was at school (it's surprising I can actually remember that far back!), but not heard that since then until just now, funnily enough.
