Hi digitalgirl. Thanks for adding me to the list!

You asked about scan. I had one last week, fetal heartbeat detected, 7mm embryonic pole. Next scan this Friday (10th) and continue to be terrified.

Suemays do you mind me asking where you live. Just that I am in Bucks and have been told by my GP that NHS will not cover any of my drugs. If this pregnancy goes well it will be no thanks to the NHS as they have done nothing to help me! Grrrrrr!

lisacn · 07/02/2012 14:14

Hi Digi, no I was regular 28/29 days, I'm not sure if its my body settling from my last mc or the steroids, I didn't have this problem after my first mc. I'm really hoping he says yes

picolina123 I use the cbfm, I think its great, I sometimes use the temp thing but I don't find that not too accurate. This month I had AF for 2 days then went from 1 bar to 3 bars on CD12, this was 3 days early, i'm a late ovulator never before CD15. Its hard to dtd when neither of you are keen and its kind of sprung upon you. We are not trying this month until I see Shehata to see if he can explain the pains and nausea. Roll on March :-)

PQ77 · 07/02/2012 14:59

just a quick one, bit flat out at work -

free hehehe you've got it in one about "no I am not having a sad, deluded, phantom pregnancy, the room full of baby stuff is for a friend I , uh, met online" Grin

battery good work with booking in at FMC. They are great but as I have mentioned earlier on this thread they tend to run really behind time. Take War and Peace with you to read. Friends have told me that when the NT scan gives not so good results they also give you quite a clear steer on whether they think it is worth doing an amnio or CVS.

Hi everyone else and welcome lisa and greenolives (if I haven't said hello already)

igggi · 07/02/2012 16:41

Hello, back at work today and instantly feeling sick and exhausted again! I have reached 24 weeks today which I think means I can't have a 5th mc? (Though obv can still lose the baby Sad ). There is something significant for me in being able to say that! I am so fed up with 2nd trimester though, wish I could move a bit faster.

Nice to see some new people, hope you get as much support from the thread as I have done Smile

Stogan · 07/02/2012 16:49

Awwww igggi sending u massive hugs. I know what u mean when I was in 2nd tri I just wanted to be in 3rd and now I'm here I'm constantly in pain or suffering heartburn so honestly enjoy 2nd tri it's fab coz 3rd. totally "kicks your head in" as we say up hereGrin

mercator · 07/02/2012 17:48

Hi Everyone

Thanks for adding me to the list Digi

Iggi sorry to hear you're so exhausted! But what a great milestone!

Wonder if I could pick anyones brains I'm around 7.5 and having some little twinges just behind the pelvic bone - which is worrying me. Next scan not til next week but I have always lost them at 8 weeks so probably paranoid. Anyone else had this or am I just imagining things or being neurotic - probably one and the same!

mercator · 07/02/2012 17:49

Also welcome to Olive & Lisa and anyone I may have missed.

igggi · 07/02/2012 18:34

Mercator I'm inclined to thing twinges (as opposed to big throbbing pains) are always a good sign. Lots of stuff going on down there, even now it's starting to stretch a bit.

Stogan I agree physical side even worse in 3rd T, but it's like the last mile of a marathon - the finish line is in sight! Hope you get some sleep tonight.

igggi · 07/02/2012 18:34

think twinges

Coconutfeet · 07/02/2012 20:28

Evening all.

Battery ? I missed your message yesterday about the scan results. I can completely understand why this is a worry, but try to hold on to the fact that it?s still only a risk of 1 out of 110 people. I really hope the next scan is able to help you relax. I?ve heard great things about FMU so you?ll be in good hands.

Free ? Hurrah for being free of the cyclogest. Has Mr S said how long he wants to keep you on the hydroxy?

Mercator ? I found that I had lots of strange twinges and stabbing pains all the way through the first trimester (and even now sometimes). It?s perfectly normal and is probably just the LO settling in nicely and things stretching to accommodate it.

Digi ? Glad the building work?s nearly over. I think you always forget how stressful living in a dusty and disorganised environment actually is until you?re in the middle of it again. Very exciting that you?re thinking about getting the baby clothes out and packing your bag.

Hope you get a decent night?s sleep Stogan. Those last few weeks are really tough, aren?t they?

Well, it seems I spoke too soon about the house. Got a call today from the estate agent to say the vendor is pulling out, as he?s decided not to sell. Grrr. Shame he didn?t think that one through earlier. Fortunately we managed to get to the surveyor just as he was putting his coat on to head out and do our survey so we get our money refunded. Gutted though. I had a decent night?s sleep last night because, for the first time in ages, I wasn?t worried about where we were going to live when the baby comes.

mercator · 07/02/2012 20:42

Thanks Iggi and Coconut its helpful knowing this is probably normal. Think this week is just going to be one of those tough weeks you have to get through. Not that it strikes me reading the posts that anyone can ever completely relax after rmc.

Coconut sorry the house purchase looks like it's fallen through - frustrating.

Battery mean't to say thinking of you too with your results but I think the suggestions about FMC/U? sounds like an excellent one. I don't know anything about it but if they can do some more in depth scans that may help alleviate some of your concerns. I'd be interested myself in knowing more about in depth scans.

Congratulations on your scan Dunnit

Stogan I remember the heart burn from my lo and it was awful so really sympathise.

Pico Good luck with your scan this week.

Free Congrats on 16 weeks that is an amazing milestone - Enjoy the holiday.

Good Luck to all the TTC/WTT ladies! Fingers crossed some more good news.

hopefulfor2nd · 07/02/2012 22:02

Hi all newbies! A quick update from me before I zonk out. I decided to postpone my scan for another 2 weeks due to worrying about ice and snow to get there, we've a 8hr round trip as it is.
So, had a local private scan tonight locally. And its looking ok! Good strong heartbeat, but measuring a few days behind my dates. Something for me to worry about but scanner said no worries at all, its only mm to measure at this stage and it'll even up.
Right, to bed. Love and hugs to all and good luck to all x x x

picolina123 · 08/02/2012 07:14

picolina123 · 08/02/2012 07:21

suemays · 08/02/2012 08:13

Dunnit I live just outside of high Wycombe. My gp has been really good as said she was happy to do the cyclogest and steroids on nhs but not superov drugs. Where do you live?

OP posts:
suemays · 08/02/2012 08:16

I was told I could get referred to the miscarriage clinic on nhs but waiting list was about one year as I live outside the area.

picolina123 · 08/02/2012 10:45

hi everyone , bad news on my scan. No heartbeat. i feel like crap. they want me to wait for another scan next wed to triple check but she couldnt see anything but the sac, nothing was in it . i dont know what happened and to think im going to have to go through another miscarriage and then start this all over again had me hysterical and sobbing.
anywayi dont know if i want to do a d & c , im just about to call bupa to find out if can do it through them , i would prefer to do it naturally but it was so painful the last time.
do you think me not taking intralipids made a diff?

picolina123 · 08/02/2012 10:46

Just wanted to say everyone wating for scans , im sure everythng is goignt o be fine , i know reading about this stuff always made me nervous

snoopygirl · 08/02/2012 10:53

Oh Pico i'm so so sorry. You must be devasted. I know it's no consolation but a couple of the ladies on here have mc'd on treatment and gone on to have sucessful pregnancies. I don't know about the Intralipids, this is all so experimental anyway. Again there are a couple who are trying different methods and some who are say just trying one without other [with] success so try to keep that in mind.
Let us kniow what you decide to do and we are all here for you. ((hugs)) x
