Evening all!

Sweetie cramps can be a good sign. How long is your LP normally?

Beedle you are making -2 look positively balmy! Hurrah for sore boobs Grin

Thanks Generic, I am counting on you lot being my first customers Grin

Cakes bet you can't wait for your appointment!! So exciting!

The snow is now sheet ice on the roads Sweetie and thick on the grass Hmm skating rink in the morning me thinks!

Whims I am excited by these tea cups Smile

Sweetie the beauty of handmade socks is that they are super warm without being too thick!! I can easily get my boots on over the top. They are suitable for all purposes! I love socks. Can you tell?!

Hope you are ok too Far

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/02/2012 22:26

Scarlett cross post, took me forever to write that post!! What business are you looking at starting? I really want my baking business to take off, it would be great to be my own boss Grin

I too am having a little glass of red tonight. With a very rare steak. It's good for the blood Wink

BeedleTheBard · 07/02/2012 06:37

scarlett and stasi I'm brooking no argument that your HSGs will be fine and will be swiftly followed by a BFP each

maybe i saw a sock knitting kit in the random stuff at lidl at the weekend and nearly bought it, but whilst i can knit I don'tknow how to cast on so i didn't. Now I'm thinking i should have bought it so i can join in with the excellent craftyness on this thread.

Hope everyone gets safely to work this morning

SweetieDoesIt · 07/02/2012 07:35

The pee sticks got me this morning as expected BFN, at least I am warned for AF now. If she hasn't shown up by weekend Thursday I will test again.

It seems sore boobs is a requirement for brookers, I don't get them every cycle which makes me extra hopeful when I do. Blush

Maybe I have sock Envy without a doubt, you really are a very talented lady, almost Phd, Master Cupcake Baker, Dog trainer to Otis and sock aficionado rolled into one.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 07/02/2012 08:59

Oh Sweetie sorry the piss stick didn't agree with you. It is by no means over though. What did your temp do this morning? Thanks for your very kind description

Beedle go and get that sock kit, I will post a link when I get to work of an amazing site that will help you with the basics Grin

DH managed to get me to the station today, so am on the train now. Think I will be taking it easy today. Am attempting the gym later too. I smell like an onion. I had a craving for french onion soup last night, so whipped up a batch. Looking forward to that when I get in!

CupcakesAndCocktails · 07/02/2012 09:02

Boo to the disagreeable pee stick Sweetie give it a few more days. It's strange you only get boob ache some cycles. About a week before AF my boobs get really sore. How I didnt notice this before ttc I don't know.

I'm day 10, not ovulated yet but I'm covered in disgusting spots. I'm obviously already preggo Grin

I'm off out for lunch with some work friends. I'm ridiculously excited obviously have no life apart from mn and work
Now I just need to pick out my most crazy outfit in order to detract attention from my spotty face!

Hope everyone is getting around ok in the ice

GenericDietCola · 07/02/2012 09:10

Sorry about the pee stick Sweetie but at 11dpo I'm sure you are just testing too early. I agree that cramps and sore boobs are a very good sign.

beangrower · 07/02/2012 09:10

Sweetie - you got the wrong stick. I really hope so.

T-cups with trifle in was a throwaway comment but maybe it would be rather lovely.

Yes - where's Far; she seemed to be having a v tough time so I hope she is ok?

Thanks Generic - mostly feeling positive because I feel like we have an idea of why it's taken so long to conceive (SA results). I'll try and get through next AF in + spirit. Toddler AF will be ignored! I certainly hope your AF doesn't last 5 weeks! A BFP coming your way I sense.

Advice welcome on reprogramming my new (old) CBFM. It asks for a peestick to be inserted when you turn it on to reprogramme. Do I have to pee on it (I'm thinking probably not)? So is that peestick binned after you've used it to reprogramme?

PopcornMouse · 07/02/2012 09:30

I've no idea Stasi - some people are saying it won't start til 8 weeks? I like your theory much better though :o Not long til your HSG!

Olives your consultant sounds super, and well worth the extra wait.

Whims my parents rented their house out through a proper management company and it was disasterous. So I think there's a lot to be said for renting to someone you trust :)

You never know, sweetie - some people don't get implantation dips at all! I bet AF is currently running for the hills screaming :o (and I agree with Beedle's excellent advice re not looking at one temp in isolation)

Ohhh cakes my norks are mega itchy, and the wind is atrocious Blush glad it's not just me. I'm munching my way through a packet of tums at a rate of knots.

:o scarlett I can think of worse things to overindulge in than SFF!

Minus 15 beedle ? Shock

I love my steak rare. I am so glad you can now have it mooing when you're pregnant according to the NHS or I think I might cry :o

Have a lovely lunch cupcakes and tell us what you order so we can drool from afar :)

bean the instruction booklet can be downloaded here ? I think you use a clean one to reprogramme it, then you can reuse it later iirc.

Biscuitsandtea · 07/02/2012 09:48

Say what popcorn - we can have rare steak??????????

Imps7 · 07/02/2012 09:50

Sweetie I am more than happy to punch that peestick of yours in the face if you want me to. How dare it mislead you like this. You are clearly and obviously pregnant and I am brooking no argument on that one.

Being preggo is all about glamour, isn't it Pops and Cakes Grin. Hopefully the windypops will ease off soon and you can concentrate on glowing and looking fabulous and effortlessly trendy with your beautiful neat bumps :)

Maybe, you do indeed have many fantastic strings to your bow, you clever ol' thing you. You will be a fabbo mother, having all these wonderful skills to pass down to your DC. I'm okay on the cooking side of things but that's as far as it goes - craft and I do not get on, so there's no point me even trying tbh! I don't want to pass my legal skills down to DC - in fact I would prefer to tell them to avoid going into law like the plague (of course I won't, it's up to them, but it's a crap career to get into and I wish I hadn't).

Whims it all sounds like it's coming together nicely for you! My friends used a "professional" letting agency and had more problems with them than with the actual tenant. It's definitely worth going with a recommendation if you know any landlords already.

AF is deffo on her way here - spotting and cramping this morning. I'm, like, well over it already innit and focussing on the lovely beautiful cycle 8 wot's coming my way. Oooh cycle 8 you're so pretty and lovely and wonderful! So much better than all the other cycles!

Right, I'm going to sharpen my arrows, polish my bow, mount my trusty steed and go AF hunting - who's with me??

Imps7 · 07/02/2012 09:54

PS Far - hope all's well out there.

beangrower · 07/02/2012 10:16

Imps - we crown you Queen Smacketeer, of the most positive vibe. Cycle 8 is the one. Innit, innit, innit.

Pops I have the booklet. But it's unclear as to whether this reprogramming stick should be wet or dry. I'm assuming dry. And yes I damn well will use it again.

Loving pg = glamour. It really isn't, is it? But I did feel quite marvellous even when I was bigger than a house. I remember being 7 days overdue and waddling around Borough Market feeling like I could take on the world. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. But try not to go overboard on the tums if you can help it! You won't get sickness Pops - that's because you were made to WAIT for your BFP so you have won the perfect pg as a consolation.

xxxxx

PopcornMouse · 07/02/2012 10:17

Yes Biscuits ! Not sure when the advice changed but we can definitely have mooing steaks, as long as it's well done on the outside - Link!

PopcornMouse · 07/02/2012 10:19

Aww bean that's a really nice thing to say :) A perfect pg would be lush :o

Imps I had cramping at 12dpo donchaknow, it's not too late! :o

whimsicalname · 07/02/2012 10:27

Morning all. Busy busy. Will catch up later.

From quick squizz through, it looks like people are cheery today!

Have a good day everyone.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 07/02/2012 10:49

Oh Imps I'm sorry if she really is on her way

You lot all say such lovely things about me. Thanks for saying you will buy my cupcakes. I really need to get my arse in gear and find out how to do all this.

Pop this is amazing news for the steak. I am so pleased. So in reality, I must already be pregnant as I had it last night. And my temp went up again this morning....

Beedle here is that link

Imps7 · 07/02/2012 10:52

Is it wrong to be craving a steak at 10:52am?

beangrower · 07/02/2012 11:17

Steak, mushrooms, fresh brocc and couscous with pine nuts, Wine optional...

Back to book.

I like Maybe's supportive sidesaddle riding. Grin Have you ever actually tried it? Really hard! I had a pony as a teenager and rode bareback, all sorts, but sidesaddle always felt really wobbily. Yikes. If I got a horse now he'd be as wide as a department store and v slow-moving. I ended up having my spleen out when I was 12 after falling off.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 07/02/2012 11:22

Not wrong at all Imps, this simply means you are up the duff!!

Bean I have never tried it, I rode horses a bit when I was younger, but in very much the conventional way Grin

A ruptured spleen? You poor thing. Yes, you are lucky to be with us, and you will be even luckier once DC number 2 comes along Grin

beangrower · 07/02/2012 11:31

Ah thanks Maybe. All in good time eh?

Phew - just looked on FB and all normal. My mates are too old/finished with having babies so there's no pg news. I shouldn't be happy should I?

Yes - one to add to your 'sympsum' Imps!

How are everyone's boobaloobs today?

ScarlettInSpace · 07/02/2012 11:33

I never really got socks (I always wear heels iykwim) untill I bought some angora pairs half price in next Xmas sale, now I love them lol

Is post and run btw, have a nice day!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 07/02/2012 11:51

Exactly Bean that's the spirit. My boobs are maybe a tad 'fuller' shall we say. And the left one is definitely a tad tender Grin

I know what you mean Scarlett but I have gotten progresively worse at walking in heels! Plus, some do wear socks with heels.... Grin

PopcornMouse · 07/02/2012 12:05

Ooo scarlet I am very impressed, I cant walk in heels! Shock Blush
I also get very chilly tootsies and have been known to double up on socks.

I am getting intermittent boob cramp bean :o Very impressed at your equine skillz btw. Very lucky escape with the spleen Shock

Imps7 · 07/02/2012 12:11

Thanks for asking, Bean - my boobaloobs are a little tender - I keep jogging up and down on the spot and leading up and down stairs extra-enthusiastically to see if there is pain. I think they were a little worse last week so the decreasing pain is deffo a sign of impending AF.

May I ask you to direct some brooking power to my SIL today? She should find out today if her second round of IVF for DC2 has worked or not. She has had a torrid time of TTC - DC1 was conceived after 5 years and 4 IVF treatments (after the second round she was told that there was simply no way that IVF would work and that it was the end of the road for them - imagine being told that? How horrendous. Anyhoo, luckily that consultant was wrong and she successfully conceived 2 IVF treatments later under another consultant). I am so hoping that it has worked, will be truly gutted for them if it hasn't.

Oooh lunchtime! Now, where can I get a medium rare ribeye to take away?
