Hello all! I am doing ok thanks, moo. Sorry that you are still none the wiser about what's going on.

dee - boo to blue dye tests! Damn annoying having to sit tight and wait and see though - not good at all!

Hey lil - sorry you've not managed as much SWI as you wanted to. It's all very well this keeping the pressure off lark, but sometimes our men need a kick up the arse, don't they?!

Hi maisie - well done for doing all you can. Now it's just that horrible wait!

I am shattered, and trying hard not to be too excited after last time. Though last time I never really got a truely strong positive, even when af was 4 or 5 days late. Off to see the dentist about my implant later, got a feeling he's going tell me to f off now! In my experience, dentists are the most cautious of the medical professions when it comes to pregnancy. Weird considering they're working at completely the other end of the body!

Hope everyone's doing ok today!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 26/01/2012 11:46

Ok i have finally lost it; somebody please talk me out of doing my CBD!!!! i have lovely concentrated pee just waiting to be dipped into Grin

I know i shouldn't because it's not FMU and it's going to be BFN and I am having some more light brown internal spitting, but why is it all old blood; did i just have a very light AF?? Should I actually maybe be moving onto a new cycle? I just need closure! MY FRERs have arrived, but sadly I was at a meeting and missed them by about 15 mins and I have to wait until the morning to go and get them. My ICs from this morning are BFN, apart from one I just did that may have had the faintest of faintest lines on them (I am actually just peeing on them for fun now, trying to get rid of the evil bastard things!)

Please someone talk some sense into me!!! :)

Bluetinkerbell · 26/01/2012 11:59

Hi ladies!

I'm settling in to the 2ww! According to CBFM I'm 2DPO... I hope we did enough this month! :)
I did have a very obvious cheapo positive ov-stick as well for the first time, so I hope this month is a proper ovulatory cycle.

I still have a CBD test lying around from last year when I was pregnant with DD2, which expires this January, do you reckon it is still ok to test with it in 2 weeks?

Moo thinking of you lots!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 26/01/2012 12:02

Blue it should be ok, but it is recommended not to use them after the expiry date. Maybe use it first!?! Hmm

Bluetinkerbell · 26/01/2012 12:15

I know! it will only be like 2 weeks after the expiry date though... will buy another one on Amazon Wink

Bluetinkerbell · 26/01/2012 12:19

Shall I get a CB 4 days early test 2 for £6.16 or CBD 2 for £7.99?
Or FRER 2 for £5.81?
which ones are the best?

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 26/01/2012 12:28

Well I am well and truly Not Pregnant; I am just going to have to chalk this down to experience, dust myself down and try and work out what this cycle is doing because I am not sure where to start next cycle from considering I haven't had what I would call a proper period. Am gutted but I can't let it get me down, just have to keep going. Am going to take my 2 positive tests and put them down as faulty tests, it can be the only explanation. Don't even know whether to go to the doctors and talk to them, but not sure there is any point.

Ho hum!!

Blue I would go for the FRER to start with and then get a CBD to firm it all up if you get a line on the FRER!!

DeeLite · 26/01/2012 13:08

How do you explain no AF? What about your bbt? Please don't give up as that means I have to give up too if I don't get a positive tomorrow.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 26/01/2012 14:01

Oh Dee you don't have to give up hope at all!! With my whacky cycles I'm not even convinced I ov'd! Yes it doesn't explain the highish temps and the spotting this early on is just weird, but too many negatives now. At 19dpo (possibly 16!?!) I am sure a test would Hv been positive by now!!

Please don't give up :)

Maisie55 · 26/01/2012 14:35

moo I'm so sorry its all going pear shaped! Are there any signs of actual AF yet or still just spotting? it is all very odd indeed!

Blue I was also wondering about which tests are the best ones, I see lots of people think the pink dye ones are more reliable - is FRER pink dye? As yet I haven't even bought a single pregnancy test in the 6 months of TTC as am determined not to get my hopes up too early and then be disappointed!

I wonder if I could ask some advice on my FF chart - link below (if I've done it right!)

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3a0e76

As you can see FF has put ov on day 23 but CBFM would put it a little later and the temp rise is more significant in line with CBFM - what do you experienced FF'ers think? (this is my first time using FF). Am now worrying that we didnt manage to DTD yesterday as DH was out, am planning on DTD tonight just in case but think I'm probably in the 2ww now - what do you think?

For some reason just using FF has made me more positive this month although I havent managed to temp every day as I am often catapulted out of bed immediately to see to DS but I think the temps I have managed do show a reasonable ov pattern. I also felt more positive when I started using the CBFM three months ago however and thats made no difference so far so probably just wishful thinking!

Thanks for your help! Grin

Maisie55 · 26/01/2012 14:39

Just realised it doesnt show when SWI took place, it was ED from CD20 up to and including CD26 (and a few other random days earlier in the cycle but think those are probably the most important to note!)

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 26/01/2012 14:41

Maisie I would put ov at CD36 but to be honest both dates look good.

No sign of AF at all, my reasoning behind def not being pg is the big fat Not Pregnant that was on the CBD I took when I caved in at lunchtime!! I know I shouldn't have done but technically AF is late and I thought it would def have shown up by now!!

Maisie55 · 26/01/2012 14:47

Oh Moo! I dont blame you for caving, I dont have many words of wisdom I'm afraid, are you due another appt with the consultant to discuss the PCOS? I wonder if the spotting was related to that like you read?

Hmm day 26, hopefully we covered it ok then, although probably would have helped if we'd managed it on day 27 as well which we didnt, oh well!

Bluetinkerbell · 26/01/2012 15:34

Maisie your cycle looks good! :) I've given up on temping this cycle and just relying on the CBFM, as I got so stressed about getting up for DD1 and cat just before I had to temp and several trips to toilet during night.
We'll see!

Rusulka · 26/01/2012 15:34

Oh Moo.

I think it would be worth talking to your consultant/doctor person about it- if nothing else it's a medical professional to talk to and maybe confirm ov for you?

Plus, you shouldn't really have pee'd on that shiny CBD with non-FMU. Bad Moo!
Don't forget you can get false negatives.

If nothing else, it's a different cycle to the ones you've been having, and that's the important thing to cling to.

I know how frustrating it is when you don't know what the fuck AF's up to, or where that leaves you, but hang in there and see what happens.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 26/01/2012 15:51

Rightly chastised Rusulka and I know that you are right

To console myself though I am going to the pub. Grin

I just want closure on this now. Either give me my period or an effing positive; at this stage, I am not that bothered which!

I used to quite enjoy peeing on sticks, but now i am mainly just fucked off with the whole TTC business.

If this was a school of TTC, i think I would get a D- for my efforts.

I have also just eaten an entire box of jaffa cakes, which is going to do nothing for my waistline and DH will be very cross as he loves the jaffa!

eaglewings · 26/01/2012 16:12

Pub sounds a good idea Moo, so sorry the CB was not positive.

iloveberries · 26/01/2012 16:13

mooley you would get an A+!!! You will get there, you have to believe, you HAVE to believe. Update me with where you are at in terms of seeing docs etc?

Thanks for the waves girls. I am ok. Still feeling the same on the whole but this week I have been much better. Not sure why, i think it's hormonal actually as AF has just finished so psychologically we're onto another try.

I am trying to be really positive though. It's definitely helped that some of the lovely longtimers on this thread have had their BFP!

I sooo want to come back in as a 'regular' but am worried about getting obsessed again!! bloody MNis addictive!

Countmyblessings · 26/01/2012 17:09

Hi all!
HUGE CONGRATS TO FESTIE!!!!!!!!!! yehhhhhhhhhhhhhh im so very happy for u!
ohhhh MooWoo - what can i say apart from - im so sorry!
Deelite- im sorry but its not over so still hope!
trust me this game of "catch the egg" is a hard game and when your body is not paying attention to the rules its hard!
i guess thats why i decided to step back, as i feel im getting all worked up supporting others( i dont mind) but cant handle the same advice!!!!!!!
im fed up of the "never mind next month" it will be your turn soon, dont give up!
blahhhh blahhhhh blahhhhhh - i guess ciunting days and watching out for signs dont help!
i have entered into another month but am more relaxed and just njoying it rather then wishing when i have finished the egg and the sperm dancing and becoming one!
life and its huge ups and hard downs! im just thankful all bits are in working order and my DH is fully on board as he knows how important another is to me!

Okay, so I did a CB test today - non-digital as I wanted to see how much (if any) a line I got. The line came up quickly but still seems quite faint for my DPO....unless, and this is my new theory, I ovulated later than I thought. I don't use FF but I had pains which made me think I'd ovulated Wednesday 11th but my temp didn't go up until Saturday 14th so maybe I ovulated Friday 13 (eek!) which would put me at 13DPO and explain the faint lines. This would also enable me to more easily put the spotting down to implantation bleed.

FX that's what it is. Testing with CBD tomorrow so I (hopefully) have a nice easy-to-read result to show DH tomorrow evening.

Festie, how faint was your line on your chem pregnancy? How many weeks were you when you miscarried? Sorry to hear you're exhausted - amazing what a difference a tiny bean can make!

Maisie, good luck with your 2WW - hope you don't turn into a mentalcase like I have.

Welcome back Count. Hope the stepping back works for you. I know my bean may not be a sticky one but, for what it's worth, we had really good SWI this cycle - usually it's a bit mechanical mid-cycle as it's usually mid-week and we're tired and going through the motions but we really got into the SWI this cycle and enjoyed it simultaneously IYSWIM (sorry TMI) - and it felt like that made all the difference at the time so that's why I was so surprised and gutted when I wasn't PG this month despite five previous cycles of trying our best albeit somewhat mechanically.

festiemum · 26/01/2012 19:59

Hey chaps! moo - you know CBD s are about the least sensitive tests going? It even says on the pack, "for most accurate results, use first morning urine" ( I know cos I bought one today Blush - haven't used it yet, waiting for fmu /good girl)

Do think as the other clever ladies are right, and you should maybe talk to your GP or something. The spotting and no proper af, combined with +ve tests is very odd and should be investigated. If nothing else, it gives the medical chaps the full picture when it comes to how they treat your pcos.

Thanks for the further good wishes. I'm so touched that so many of you are so generous with your goodwill, particularly considering envy would be a perfectly sane and understandable reaction! Bless you all - the bfp goddess will come your way soon, I know it, and she'll blow the hag whore up with her massive bazooka! :o

festiemum · 26/01/2012 20:04

Sorry dee x posted. When I had my chem, I had a very faint line the day after af was due. A pretty faint line the day after that, and that was as strong as it got. They got weaker after that over the next few days, and then I started bleeding, about a week after af was due. So I was literally 5 weeks I guess, though I think it started to go wrong from the get go.

Your theory about ov being later for you sounds spot on. It would explain everything, and so many of us have had issue with ff and their formula recently! Fingers so so crossed for you tomorrow! Xxx

DeeLite · 26/01/2012 20:49

Thanks for sharing that Festie. I will keep testing and hopefully the line will get stronger as the days go by.

Will keep you all posted - thanks so much for all the support over the past few days.

iloveberries · 26/01/2012 21:01

Good luck tomorrow dee x

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 26/01/2012 21:05

Evening ladies!! You are indeed wise and correct, a trip to the quacks is required! An going to make an appointment next week.

Dee a faint line is a good thing. My second line was faint but there! And it may just be the sensitivity of the test that is giving a fainter line! Hopefully tomorrow CBD will give a definitive answer.

Had a turtle tonight, CM now yellowish and creamy and no more spotting YEY!!!
