Ps if anyone with a computer feels like updating the list please do so! Just change the date to today and move dates (gen for the pregnant people) forward by however many days it has been since it was last updated

Cheerfulcharlie · 08/01/2012 13:27

Lol at Warming up and thongs looking more positive!!

eurochick · 08/01/2012 13:34

Good idea, PQ. I used to do that with Taggert when I was younger!

free I'd love a local meet up but weekday day times would be impossible unless you meet in the City (so I could slip out for a coffee), so I might have to pass this time.

cornflakes30 · 08/01/2012 13:39

Hi thanks for the reassurance guys, I'm still having discharge and some period like pains, I wouldn't have thought twice about the pains if itnwasnt for the discharge. I'm booked in for wed afternoon for a scan but I don't thinking can wait that long I may go down to the epu in the morning. it's just such a horrible experience waiting around to be seen.

Happy birthday to mrdigi and air... I hope your being spoilt rotten.

igginezerscrooge · 08/01/2012 13:46

Our EPU is open on a Sunday - have you checked that yours is actually shut? (I know how long one night of waiting can be!). At least you have had nothing so far that can't be explained positively (as well as whatever you are imagining). Last time I had a murky coloured discharge (as seen by doc looking inside me with a torch!) I had thrush.

freelancegirl · 08/01/2012 13:47

Lol! Did naughty iPhone say thongs? I think thongs are the last thing on my mind at the mo :)

Oh cornflakes we can all probably relate to not wanting to go down Epu, it's not a nice thing to be doing at all. I hope things just calm down on their own and you can hold out until weds. How many weeks are you now?

Arianrhod · 08/01/2012 17:00

Hi ladies .. Sorry for the absence and thank you all for the birthday wishes. Unfortunately with DD's birthday being 2 days before mine and her party one day before (ie yesterday), my birthday always ends up being a mad clear-up and taking-down of decorations.

kittens Happy birthday for tomorrow! Sorry to hear about the bust-up with DH but no wonder your emotions are running wild right now and as has been said already you certainly already SWId within the right timeframe so don't worry too much.

free rolled on the floor at the accidental thong comment! I needed a laugh, that worked!

cornflakes hope you manage to get some reassurance, these scares are a real bugger.

/waves to everyone, hope you're all having a good weekend.

batteryhen · 08/01/2012 17:13

cornflakes God I hate all this scary stuff :( if it helps in my last pg I had full on bleeding twice and baby was Ok. ( I know I mc but not until weeks later and the bleeding was just implantation). Would you be due AF around now? sometimes you can get some blood and discharge around this time.
ari happy birthday :) January is a good month for us - it's mine next week too.
I think 3 of us have a scan on wednesday and free on Thursday..... I will have a go at updating the list next.
DP has just left - he works away from home during the week and this is his first week back since xmas. :( Feel a bit teary.

Hi ladies just been reading back.

Hope ur ok cornflakes, sure u are but go and get check for ur own piece of mind or ull drive ur self mad ! X

For those saying they feel no glow, huge etc I am now starting to feel like a whale !!!! 31 weeks and everyone says I look so well (heartburn is eating me alive) and my bump is so neat (I have gone from a size 10/12 to an 18!!!!!) nice for people to say nice things but I feel wretched from I get up until 11am then I'm fine til about 6pm rest of the time it's heartburn city !!! Great thing is tho I am sleeping the clock round, 11.5 hours last night and 10 hours the night before, and I'm making the best of it while I can as I'm sure babes will change that in 9 weeks time, OMG 9 weeks the reality is only just now setting in, been too scared to admit it and now sooooo much to get sorted !!!

Sorry for the HUGELY self indulgent post but this is all actually just sinking in now and OMG it's actually happening !! Mr S I WANNA KISS YOU !!! X

Coconutfeet · 08/01/2012 20:25

Bloody hell Stogan - 9 weeks isn't long at all. How exciting!!

Cornflakes - I really hope you get some reassurance tomorrow.

Happy birthday Ari and for you tomorrow Kittens.

I've just remembered I've got a scan tomorrow actually. It's a specialist scan called a uterine atery doppler which checks the arteries around my uterus and is apparently a good indicator of late pregnancy complications. They are going to use the results of this to decided whether to keep me on the clexane or switch me back to aspirin. I assume I'll get to see the baby as well but I'm not sure.

Which day are you ladies thinking of meeting up? I'm working Mon - Weds but could possibly do Friday. Only thing is, I'll have ds in tow, which doesn't make it easy to just sit down and chat. Let me know your plans and I'll see if I can fit in.

batteryhen · 08/01/2012 20:35

coconut I will be interested to hear about your scan. I am a clexane injector too, and MR S said to have the doppler scan at 23 weeks too. Are you having the scan with him?

Stogan · 08/01/2012 20:47

Hopeeverything goes well tomorrow coconut x

Coconutfeet · 08/01/2012 20:57

No, I'm just going to my local hospital, Battery. Mr S suggested that I should have this scan and the consultant was absolutely fine with it. I'll let you know how it goes. Although I've got the scan tomorrow, I'm not seeing the consultant for another couple of weeks so they won't make a decision about my treatment until then.

digitalgirl · 08/01/2012 22:26

cornflakes I had similar - blob of brown jelly like substance at about 9 weeks I think. Had a scan the next day and all was fine - hope it will be same for you. A few of us on this thread have had some spotting the day after sex, sort of puts you off from doing it even though it's supposed to be harmless.

free yay on permission to fly!

kittens happy birthday for tomorrow - and I agree with others that you've timed it well this month so you're in with just a good a chance as any.

Happy belated birthday to ari

battery thanks for list update!

Am totally worn out after this weekend. DH's hip hop 40th went really well despite loads of cancellations - our teeny house still managed to feel busy! Loads of people made an effort with fancy dress and my mum (sooo pleased we're speaking again) went all out and catered an amazing feast, then put ds to bed for us, then helped tidy up! Hooray!!! Then we had to get up early this morning and finish returning the house back to normal ready for the in-laws. Feed them lunch. Deal with a totally bored ds who we've neglected for most of the weekend. Back to work tomorrow...groan.

Happy birthday kittens and a belated one for ari.

I hope you can see someone soon cornflakes so that you can be properly reassured. The only pregnancy (out of seven) where I lost some brown blood is this one which is working - fingers crossed all ok.

Good luck to all scanees this week - I'm seeing consultant tomorrow so hopefully get to hear heartbeat and anomaly scan Thursday.

Dont like Monday's .... have a good week everyone!

Stogan · 09/01/2012 08:16

Good luck to anyone having tests/ scans etc this week, mine is Friday. Hope everyone has a nice week xxx

freelancegirl · 09/01/2012 16:34

Hi all, finally got my laptop back and working although been sat here for hours now trying to transfer my backed up files to no avail. Will get there eventually!

Now I am here it is very quiet... I hope quiet means good and everyone is just getting on with their lives rather than feeling miserable about ttc/pregnancy etc etc. I was lurking for a while hoping that someone would post to distract me, but maybe no news is good news!

PQ and I met up earlier, which was fab! She made me tea and fed me some nice treats :) Both of us are happy to do a South East evening one day at a suitable 'after work' time for those of you who are local too. We can talk some dates!

Digi, it sounds like you organised a super star weekend for DH's bday well done! Glad you and your mum are on good terms again. You must be tired though. In the scheme of things it's not soooo long until you finish work I guess. When will you be gracing the dizzy heights of the third trimester section on the list? Can't be long surely?

Coconut that scan sounds really interesting. I can't wait to hear all about it. I think it is especially interesting to all of us as, once we have got passed the difficulties of ttc, potential early, mc, nuchals etc, I am sure we will all be a bit paranoid about what else can happen. So that scan sounds really intriguing. Good luck with your scan too Comedy.

Kittens I hope your birthday has gone as well as expected in the circumstances.

No news from me apart from starting to really worry about this nuchal on Thursday, and before that on Weds I have an appt with my GP to try to persuade her that it is ok to refer me to Epsom rather than any local hospital. Am hoping Mr S was right and that this is indeed something she can do. I am sure he is right, it is just will she know about it! But I guess I need to get over the potential hurdles that the dodgy nuchal results might throw in my direction first.

Hope everyone is ok!

duggs1976 · 09/01/2012 18:07

Hey free hope you and PQ had a lovely time. Sounds like it. I'm supposed to be "out" this month waiting for my hystersocopy on 23 jan but just picked up the smiley face clear blue ov sticks. [never used those before seem better than a faint line. I hate faint lines all lines tbh].

Some thoughts to add to your dr s list of questions. Why are some people here obviously conceiving so so easily with unfussy wombs and some can't get pregnant for love nor money? ( it is a bit like asking why do some people like red wine and some White) there is probably no definitive answer I know. But with nk cells surely they either attack v early ( no pg) or later after hcg shows. Looking at our list now the majority of people have had a bfp since being on dr s programme - although not all have managed to keep the pregnancy and are starting over. But some can't seem to get a bfp and I keep wondering why not?

Just babbling. These last few days I an starting to accept I probably will experience not holding my own baby and I am trying to justify that as just life abs there r many worse things to go through. I've not really felt this way before but I am starting to now as I'm so tired after 2 years ! I met DH 4 yrs ago today . . and 2 of those years have been ttc. How sad is that?! We need to get a life and it is slowly dawning on me.

I sound morbid, so I must pull myself together. I hope this week Flies past for everyone. Wishing time away that is what this journey is about. Sad

snoopygirl · 09/01/2012 18:55

Oh duggs I know what you mean and feel exactly the same way about wishing life away and I have just got too much I want to do/experience to keep counting the years away doing this...but it is much easier for me to say that as I already have a child.
I can't find the google link to see exactly what your issues were but there is still plenty of time for you to get some answers. I really hope the Hystercocopy thingy helps unravel something.
I'm seeing Dr S wed for Sup Ov discussion. In meantime I'm testing this week although cos I didn't have the digital smiley sticks havent' really a clue when 10dpo is! And yes faint bloody lines are rubbish!
I am a pretty optimistic/cheery person generally but it's hits me just as hard when I mc. That is why when I am told what was there at EP scans I can't remember what prob was most of time as I just am a sobbing mess/shown back door and forget whether it was a blighted ovum/ stopped hb whatever as immediatly just block the whole thing out and pull myself together to carry on once more.
DS is 6 tomorrow and a BFP would be the best present he ever got...
