Glad it all went well josie. That's one more thing ticked off now- reall proud of you for going to the doctors and getting sorted. Sounds like your cakes are really taking off too!

Hi raspberry go you on your healthy eating and weightloss routine! I'm sure you were gorgeous anyway with all of that pole dancing! Hope married life is treating you well.

Hello to cave hope you're raring to go with all your Christmas shag-a-thon!

LouP19 · 19/12/2011 14:20

Hello, can I please join?

Am 35, hubbie is 37, been TTC for 2 years. Fell pregnant last Christmas but miscarried at 9 weeks. We had a bit of a break afterwards, but we've been just been tested again and then we're looking at a referral to the hospital in the New Year. Whilst I put a pragmatic/brave face on to the outside world, inside I am utterly desperate to conceive or to find out what's going wrong.

Am currently on day 33 of my cycle and have just done a negative test. Was praying that we'd get some good news before Christmas. As it is we'll be spending it with the in-laws and our baby nephew, who as much as I try I just can't bond with at the moment because it depresses me so much.

Let's just hope 2012 brings a new way forward for all of us,........

raspberrytipple · 19/12/2011 16:00

Flick how are you? How is pip? Was so pleased when I saw your news, selfishly I was happy for me in a funny way because it gave me lots of hope that I will get there one day like crazy says :)

well done Josie at least you now have some good news to work with if your tubes are clear. Hopefully at your January appointment they will sort your eggs out too.

Hello LouP19 and welcome :) Hope your stay is short in the nicest possible way and I too am hoping that Christmas 2012 will be one where we are all either sporting impossibly big bumps or bouncing them on our knees trying to shovel some turkey down our throats and breastfeed at the same time Xmas Grin

Welcome LouP19, good luck for 2012!

I've been in quite a lot of pain with period cramp since I got home but I was expecting that (good excuse for some tlc from DH Grin)

I'm going to take advantage of the possible increased fertility following the HSG and JS like rabbits GrinBlush

LouP19 · 19/12/2011 20:05

Thank you for the welcome.

It will be nice to have people to talk to. I don't feel I can really share how desperate I am to the outside world about this TTC lark,........ every time I talk about it people say 'just RELAX and it'll happen'.

When you've been trying for 2 years you don't really want to keep hearing that!!

raspberrytipple · 20/12/2011 07:47

Know the feeling well Loup you are not alone!!!

Ah ha, found you all. Got to hug a friends baby this week :)
Nothing else exciting here.....

Hope everyone has a great bonk-filled Christmas!

raspberrytipple · 21/12/2011 13:28

gone all quiet again in here!

Tis my birthday today :) 29! Shocking. Had a lovely boozy meal with some friends last night and went to bed at 3.00 a.m.! I am waaaay to old to behave in such a manner and although I don't feel hungover I really need a snooze. Out with DH for a Thai meal tonight and he bought me the most hilarious present, it was a 'husband' calendar with pictures of him for the whole year with little captions. I opened it this morning and couldn't breathe I was laughing so much. Have had some visitors, bacon butty, chocolates and am off to mummy's in a moment for mince pies :) (diet wagon has not only been fallen off but its trundled off into the distance to fast for me to even hope to catch up with it Xmas Grin )

Hi everyone! Please can I join, been ttc for 7 months now finding it all abit difficult if im honest didn't realise what an emotional rollercoaster it was going to be! Doesnt help that alot of my friends are expecting babies, obviously I'm really happy for then but I'm also immensly jelous and I feel awful for that! Anyway glad to be joining this thread and hopefully there will be some BFP for us this month! X

highheelsandequations · 21/12/2011 19:11

Happy birthday raspberry sounds like you're having some lovely celebrations :)

Waves to anyone else who might remember me

FairyonthetreeG · 22/12/2011 07:52

Loup you are most def not alone.

All went well with lap & dye, sore but happy Xmas Grin

Happy b'day for yesterday raspberry That present sounds soooo cool. Where'd he get it done or did he put it together himself!

Welcome Laura Yes I totally understand those feelings. I hope your rollercoaster ride doesn't take too long!

Highheels Long time no see - how the devil are you? Xmas Smile

raspberrytipple · 22/12/2011 08:11

Welcome laura yep it definitely is a bit of a roller coaster. I can feel AF on its way now and to be honest I think it's going to hit me hard this time given that last Christmas and the Christmas before tears were shed because of the lack of a baby! Just have to stay strong and keep going.

fairy I'm glad the lap & dye went well, do you get results straight away or what happens now?

highheels how are you?! How's little one?

Hi CEDR ickle baby cuddles are the best Xmas Grin

Well, birthday is over and done with, had a lovely day though meal out turned into a takeaway due to my need to be asleep on the sofa by 9!! God I was knackered :)

OP posts:
FairyonthetreeG · 22/12/2011 08:28

I got the results, everything normal except slight kink in left tube - not impossible to get pg but slightly harder!

Sometimes a take away in is as good as going out!!! Glad you had a good night Xmas Smile

DessieLou · 22/12/2011 12:27

Hello Frolickers! Loving all the newbies...welcome to you all, and I'm sure we'll all be discussing our newborns this time next year (yes you guessed it, I'm putting on a brave face! Haha!). We're not seeing any family this Crimbo as its our first one in Bonny Scotland so think the lack of baby is going to hit me hard this year.
Not been on here for a few weeks but not much to report. My mum came to visit which was lovely, had lots of snow which was lovely and lots of wind which was not so lovely! Had a power cut for a few days (not fun when you have an electric shower and electric cooker!) and 2 weeks without mobile phone signal..the joys of living in the middle of nowhere.
Raspberry I'm sorry to say this but I am so glad you have fallen off the healthy wagon! I fell off and was run over by the bloody thing! Feeling pretty crappy about it but bugger it, its Christmas. Will start again after Hogmanay! And happy birthday, hope you had good one. I have to say I am very impressed by your hubby's present buying skills. I'll be 29 next month....scary stuff, nearly 30!
Blimey this is turning into a long post...sorry guys! Grin

highheelsandequations · 22/12/2011 17:44

Hi raspberry and nice to see you over here fairy, thanks for making me feel welcome to drop back in! We're fine, enjoying every second, Rose will be 6 months at the beginning of January, can't quite believe it. She'll be having her first taste of solid food at Christmas dinner. Wish she'd sleep more than 2 hours at a time at night but she's mostly happy, contented and giggly Xmas Grin. Hope you're both doing okay. I do try and keep an eye on everyone here and keep track of how yo're all getting on.

FairyonthetreeG · 23/12/2011 07:30

Thats fab news Highheels - 6 months already!!!!

Well Jan I'll be jumping back on the health wagon & hoping our chances have upped!!!!

raspberrytipple · 23/12/2011 09:23

fairy that's good news sight the lap & dye - does that mean no further tests and that the other tube is fine?

Hey dessie ! Glad you are settling into Scotland ok, we haven't had any snow yet really so am very jealous. I am well and truely off the wagon now so we can all be piggy's together.

Very impressed that Rose's first dinner will be a Christmas one! Very special indeed. Hole you have a wonderful first Christmas together

Well, it's nearly here!!! I just have a few last pressies to wrap and I have to get some custard for my triffle and drop a few cards off then I am done. Have so far managed to polish off three bottles of wine (and mulled wine) and two little (USB) boxes of chocs! Hmm naughty I know. Also had a wobble yesterday about whether I will have a baby, at the moment it feels as though I wil never be a mum. We chatted briefly about adoption as its been on the news and DH is fairly certain he doesn't want to go down that route :( but similarly I still want to give us every chance to have a baby of our own. Will just have to wait and see what 2012 brings. At least this time next year we might know where we stand, so here's hoping

FairyonthetreeG · 23/12/2011 20:54

Right tube is absolutely normal, got to go back in 6 months & still have 2 months left on clomid! Fingers crossed. We're ready for xmas!!!

CareBear1 · 23/12/2011 22:16

Well done, Fairy, great news!!

Happy christmas, all.

Ratata · 23/12/2011 23:29

Thanks for the welcome all :) must admit I tend to be more of a lurker than poster but it's nice to read everyone's posts. And nice to see someone popped back in with news of their wee one :)

I'm just off the pill so expecting my period to be late. Which is also very taunting! Bought a wee stack of internet cheapie tests in preparation for beginning to properly start TTC. Been on and off trying the last 4 weeks due to health problems.

Anyhoo. Been eating and drinking naughty things just like a few of the rest of ya :D

raspberrytipple · 24/12/2011 22:04

Merry Christmas ladies!!! Okay it's two hrs early but I can't see me getting on line tomorrow whereas this evening is just a sleepy evening with wine watching star trek :)

Just marking my spot as you all slipped off my active threads!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas Day Xmas Grin

PuggyMum · 27/12/2011 00:21

Hello to everyone! I have just joined the site after spending most of xmas googling trying to find out if theres a magic way to see if I am pregnant after our first proper attempt (after several months of not-not trying!)....
I'm playing the waiting game as am only 8 dpo / 5 days to AF although had what I am hoping is an implantation bleed on Xmas Day night / today.... I am very regular so this was 6 days to AF... Trying not to get hopes too high although I did a Clearblue test on Xmas Morning which was a BFN but that was way too early (would have been a lovely Xmas pressie!) x
I have what feels like period pains too so I don't think this is my time x

I am 33 and a half, and 3st overweight so I'll be back at WW and the gym next week!

My best friend announced on Xmas Eve shes pregnant and 12 weeks so I hope it happens for me soon too x x

Good luck to us all x

raspberrytipple · 27/12/2011 14:25

Hello Puggymum! and welcome..... I found I got really obsessed early on but I'm a bit more relaxed these days. 8 days is probably a little early to test - maybe hold off until the weekend.

Hope everyone has had a nice Christmas! I'm now at that awkward stage where I am on day 31 and my cycles are usually 30 days BUT i do have some 35 day cycles and our SWI was pretty regular this last month so I'm trying to hold off until Saturday morning as I do feel PMT'y but I'm getting seriously tempted now! I think I may have a test upstairs somewhere......
