Yes please! Going a bit nuts over here. I think I'm 2po. This is first cycle ttc no 2. I can't stop googling! So far I've had some bloating & gas & weird cramping, twingy pains. AF due on dec 1st I think. Feels like forever away! How about you? X

This is my third cycle ttc no2 . Af due in around 7 days I have two first responses in my bathroom shouting at me to test ! I need something to take my mind off it !!

First response actually giving a BFP before af due ?

Yes I think FR can give a positive 6 days before missed period. Isn't that what it says on the box of their early test? I just have a two pack of normal first response in my medicine cabinet that says to test on day of missed period. However, from my copious googling some women have got a BFP as early as 9/10 dpo. I guess it depends how quickly the bean implants as this is what causes the HCG levels to rise and be detected in the urine.

It is a tortuous wait....Hope this is your cycle. How long did it take you to conceive DC1?

Conceived dd1 while on the pill so no answers there
I'm never away from google either for some reason I am sure there must be an easier way out there ! Sometimes when I read things I think to myself it's a wonder anyone ever gets pregnant !!!

MrsC This is our 4th cycle of trying properly. Just after I replied to this post, I suddenly had to run to be sick! I tested straight after and got a BFP! Arrrgh! I was convinced I was out! Waiting for DH to get home now to tell him.

Looking back, my main symptoms were extreme tiredness (having to go to bed silly early) and it sounds odd, but I had tonnes of dreams about babies / being pregnant. I also lost my appetite a bit over the last few days. That's all really.

I put it all down to being stressed with work and the whole TTC thing.

Hopefully I've started a good run for some more BFP's :)

I have been trying for a bit, no symptoms but some odd spotting. very minimal. but it's about the right time to be fertile, so... we'll know more in a few weeks!

10 DPO and I'm going to wait (well, try, anyway) until 12 DPO to test. The weird symptoms I was having the last few days seem to have abated, now all I want is a drink!!!

Well I've been super tired today - was
On couch with DH and DD watching a film the next thing I know it's 1.5 hours later !! Think I might do a first response on Monday . ordered a few eBay cheapies as well they seem to be very popular with MNers !

Evening ladies, well done on the waiting! Least you are only days away. I'm only 3 DPO and have been having some really odd twinges, cramps, shooting sensations in my lower half today! Surely it is too early for any of that?! My mind must be incredibly powerful if it can play tricks like that on me!

More googling today led me to stories of women who got BFPs at 6 DPO!

Hi ladies, yes I think our minds can easily play tricks on us at this time.

I seem to have become frightened of POAS! Don't want to do it! But have agreed with DH that we will tomorrow morning.

Also a bit sad as my temp has dropped a little (I am charting). But who knows....I have a huge stash of Ebay sticks all ready to go!

Weirdly, yesterday I decided I didn't want kids anymore, or at least didn't want a BFP this cycle. Seems that my mind is trying to psychologically prepare me for a BFN!

Cosmo how old is your dc1 ? How long did you take to conceive first time around ?

I am not feeling great today in a wee bit of a downer today plus I think I have ended up with thrush from all the SWI but I'm scared to take anything just in case

Hey MrsC -got a BFN this morning but still have a glimmer of hope as it's only 12 DPO. Sorry you are not feeling good, what about going to a pharmacy and asking if there is something safe you can take? When are you going to test? Take care!

Aw that's a shame but I wouldn't give up hope no matter what those tests say I don't think they are reliable until the day of your missed period . And if you think about it if you are only 12dpo your body could just be producing hcg now .

I think I will just wait until Friday that is when af is due .

It's my third month TTC ... after a mmc in early September. The first time round we weren't trying to get pregnant and it happened anyway. Now we are desperate for a baby, and I'm trying REALLY hard to be patient ... but can't wait for 1/2 December when I can test! ;-)

Mrs C - sorry you've been feeling a bit low. Thrush must be making you feel less than comfortable too. My DD is 2.7 and we were very fortunate and fell pregnant first try. I had been off the pill for 6 months before and had been monitoring ovulation via CM.

Squirrel - sorry for BFN. It is disappointing not to see that line come up but as they say on MN, it's not over till the evil witch sings!

LT1976 - Welcome. Sorry to hear about your mmc. I am 4 dpo so a day ahead of you. Nice to have your company. I am not handling the wait very well! Have lost count of the number of ridiculous things I have googled in conjunction with the words '2WW'. DH thinks I have lost the plot I think.

I bought two cheapie tests today so am debating whether to test at 10 or 11 dpo with one of those (sun or mon).....Or be good and wait until AF is late or the day before.

Morning ladies, day 5 over here! Ugh..... Last three nights have woken at 430 and struggled to get back to sleep. Another weird thing is my neck and shoulders have been feeling really achy and stiff. Also my feet were freezing cold in bed last night. Symptom Spotters Anonymous over here!

My 2ww starts today. Not holding out too much hope for this round but who knows. Symptoms so far: NEED FOR PASTRY

My 'symptoms' have vanished - except for anxiety! Still no sign of AF, she was due for a visit yesterday...even tried sex and exercise to entice her...and at the gym I found I wasn't able do my usual workout, hmmmm...

I think we need some kind of list here:

Mrs C, 10 DPO(?), testing?
Cosmo, 5 DPO, testing 27 or 28/11 (?)
LFT, 4DPO, testing 1 or 2/12

Isn't it funny how we all read so much into "symptoms" we think we're having?! Yesterday I had to climb two long flights of stairs, and I found it slightly tiring. So I convinced myself it was cos I'm pg!! Clearly, I'm just not as fit as I could be! ;-)

Still, another day closer to testing. Yesterday I was totally sure I would get a bfp. Today I'm less confident. But only time will tell.
