Sorry to hear about af MrsC. Hugs for you.
Sorry, have namechanged halfway through thread. (Was Jenn)

LoveHandles88 · 25/11/2011 09:41

Yes, thank you Squirrel for the link. I've used the timing calculator on there, and with my cycle, I shouldn't test until Tuesday at least. And I've also read some literature that states that the blood test would have been ideal yesterday or after, but I had it done Tuesday. I looked through some stuff from when I was last pregnant to, and as it turns out, I was a little over 6 weeks before I got a positive. I'd taken a test a few days before and got a bfn.
I've also been reading testimonials regarding PCOS and pregnancy tests of all varieties, and there's some very interesting experiences.
So, until af comes, I am still clinging to the smallest glimmer of hope!!!!!
I'm still getting nausea and slight lower back pain, and dull pains in my uterus. I'm expecting af to show, but will be over the moon if she doesn't.
(sorry, have namechanged.)

Squirrel77 · 25/11/2011 11:20

Another BFN for me. I wonder if AF is being delayed due to my anxiety about the whole thing? I even did a hard core Spinning class at the gym yesterday hoping that might get her going. Grrrr!

signet2012 · 25/11/2011 12:02

im out too ladies. Af arrived this morning.

Cosmogirl · 25/11/2011 16:31

Sorry to hear that Signet. How are you feeling about it?
Squirrel - sorry you're in limbo at the mo. Is the brown spotting usual for you? Fx you get some answers soon. Re: anxiety I think stress can delay ovulation but once you have ov'd the time between ov and AF is a set number of days (your Lutuel phase) and this remains the same each month and isn't effected by stress. That is what I have been led to understand anyway. Please correct if I'm wrong.

signet2012 · 25/11/2011 16:33

pissed off. pissed off that I let myself get my hopes up. Pissed off that my stomach and back are killing and I should be doing housework.

But onwards and upwards and inwards

On the next bus now!

Squirrel77 · 25/11/2011 16:46

Signet, I'm sorry you are feeling blue.

Inwards and outwards! Grin

I may be going insane, but wonder whether I might have 'breakthough bleeding' (ie, the body still partially ridding itself of the lining of the uterus even if preggo...)

TMI altert: This is my 3rd day of old looking brown spotting, but it seems to be fading away. This is not normal for me, usually by day 2 of AF it's pretty heavy and bright red in colour . Still BFN's though. I'm going mad!

Westcountrywife · 25/11/2011 17:43

Hi can I join you? AF is due today and doesn't feel on it's way yet (prob is tho). This is our first month consciously ttc... Eek! Gave in and tested last night and this morning, both no :-(

Feel like I need a gin but being good. Have horrid lower back ache, is that a symptom? Think not. Our black cat is in constant trouble everytime he walks the wrong way, is it normal to go this mad! Help!

JNO18 · 25/11/2011 18:53

Hi ladies

can I join you? This is our 7th month trying and I'm starting to feel like I'm going a bit mad!! I've been testing for ovulation using one step ovulation kits which I realised this month I haven't even been using properly. I'm not really sure when I'm ovulating or even if I am at all.

I'm now towards the end of the 2ww, AF due on Sunday and I've tested tonight and got a BFN. I've convinced myself I'm pg cos I've been feeling knackered, a bit sick and just generally not myself. Think I'm going to take it pretty hard if it doesn't work this month. I know some people have been trying for much longer but 7 months feels like forever and it's just consuming my thoughts all the bloody time!!!!

It's nice to find some ladies who are going through the same thing, so thanks for listening to me rant. Good luck everyone testing in the next few days xxx

Westcountrywife · 25/11/2011 19:12

I know it's only our first proper month but as we've been planning for at least a year (due to coming off very strong bad for babies meds) so I know what you mean about all consuming... DH thinks I need to relax but it's so hard when it's your body that's doing loopyness... My sister took one year and has a gorgeous toddler now...

When are you testing (throws baby dust)? I think I will try again in the morning if still no AF as I'll actually be proper late then...

JNO18 · 25/11/2011 19:16

I'm going to try and wait until Sunday or Monday, will see how I feel, unless AF starts first of course. We also waited about a year from when we wanted to start trying until we did so I'm just fed up of waiting.

Everyone tells you to relax and stop thinking about it but I have no idea how the hell that would be possible! it's the worst advice ever!!

When is AF due for you? Sending lots of positive thoughts your way x

Westcountrywife · 25/11/2011 19:48

AF due today.... Did a test this morning which said no... What is mad is the amount of my life spent worrying trying not to get preggers and now it's all I can think about. I think it's a lack of control aspect and feeling like you are the one who has to create this... Bought four more peesticks today (on offer in boots).

Saying to relax is like saying stop breathing. Nutters.

Good luck for Sunday (or prize if wait for Monday) keep us updated!

JNO18 · 25/11/2011 19:54

Will do, you too. Hope you try to think about something else over the weekend x

Morning ladies, thank goodness it's the weekend! Welcome to the new posters.

Signet - sorry you are feeling so fed up. It is such a rollercoaster of emotions this TTC business.

Well, I cracked this morning and did a cheapie test and BFN. Only 9 DPO today - was supposed to wait until tomorrow but now I'm wondering if I should step away from the tests until at least 12 DPO.... On the other hand, as it is our first cycle I was going to allow myself to be a bit OTT on testing but then on other cycles reign it in!

LB - I hope AF stays away for you tomorrow.

JNO18 · 26/11/2011 08:11

Morning ladies

Cosmogirl it's so hard to stay away from the tests isn't it. Every month I tell myself "this month I def won't test until AF is due" but I always crack. I might get DH to hide them next month. I need saving from myself!

I've been feeling so sick but a couple of people at work have had sickness bugs so I could easily just be ill. How is everyone else feeling? Any symptoms, phantom or otherwise?!

JNO18 · 26/11/2011 08:13

PS signet I hope you're feeling a bit better today. Virtual hugs from the forum ladies Smile

Squirrel77 · 26/11/2011 09:48

The B*tch from hell (AF) arrived this morning Sad

Oh well. At least I know my body is working properly again after having the Mirena taken out two months ago.

Looking forward to a mad sexathon in a few days time.

Good luck to everyone else!!!

JNO18 · 26/11/2011 09:58

Ah I'm so sorry to hear that Squirrel. I didn't realise how hard this process would be. Hope you're ok

signet2012 · 26/11/2011 12:54

Hi all, apologies for my self pity yesterday!! Feel much better after a relaxing night bar of galaxy and a half lot

Sorry squirrel and anyone else out of the game for this month,

roll on December!

BFP this morning! DH is strutting around like a stud... Eek

JNO18 · 26/11/2011 17:45

wow congratulations west country wife, that's amazing news!!

I have had a spot of brown bleeding this afternoon which really upset me but actually my period usually just starts and normally my boobs kill me for days before and they don't hurt at all. So could this be implantation bleeding? Or breakthrough bleeding? I am totally knackered and still have bouts of feeling sickly. Not feeling myself at all - really hope I'm not just ill!!

LoveHandles88 · 26/11/2011 17:54

Congratulations Westcountrywife. And fingers crossed JNO18.

Westcountrywife · 26/11/2011 18:08

I definitely had implantation bleeding (in hindsight) started a week before period due and lasted four/five days. Bit like a very very very light period! The poas on AF due date said no (twice), day after with expensive digital test said yeah...!

Fingers crossed JNO18... 
