Or we burn the place down!

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 14/11/2011 22:05

Hi drom I'm a relatively new BESH so we haven't met. I too am hoping the diffedness may be contagious :)
sunny what line of work are you in if you don't mind me asking?
I've decided to go back tomorrow, I was bored today cuz you were all quiet which is a sign I'm on the mend. Still have a pesky cough and croaky voice but I think I'll be ok.

PerfectDromedary · 14/11/2011 22:06

I think I might have wibbled at you about IVF at some stage? Does MrSunny have white goods issues? Or have I totally made that up?

InTheSunshine · 14/11/2011 22:17

Ah yes you did. You didn't wibble. And you have a good memory!

Faith I work in hospitality / events type of thing. I sort of manage projects. Sometimes it means I stay in luffly places for nothing. Sometimes I stay in average places & have to pay.

Ariesgirl · 14/11/2011 22:25

*DROOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!1111!1111!111 So great to see one of the Witches of BESHwick!

I was having dishwasher problems a while ago (be patient: this is going somewhere) and I signed up to a "White Goods Forum" to troubleshoot. Every so often I get an email from the good people at the "White Goods Forum" and I screech every time.

I have met Sunny And also MrSunny. They are both great.

PerfectDromedary · 14/11/2011 22:33

Hello lovelyRie! Am genuinely delighted by the idea of emails from the White Goods Forum.

So, what has been happening in the world of BESH during my long absence? I have been lurking, obvs, but without much to say for myself. How bitter and twisted and sweary and gin-fuelled are we these days?

InTheSunshine · 14/11/2011 22:35

Ha!! I want to get emails helping me troubleshoot white goods ishoos.

The Quiche ting. Pile of shit. There I've said it. It's all about cliques. I don't thing ESH is a clique. It's about people that have / are going through the same thing. Mid 30's TTC < refers to first Fred title>.

Thanks Rie < proud> you're not so bad yourself Grin

InTheSunshine · 14/11/2011 22:36

think not thing. I was ranting.

Ariesgirl · 14/11/2011 22:36

Oh I'm trying my best, Drom. You know me Grin. I might have said cunt yesterday. Yes - cunt! And I am sipping Merlot even as we speak. And a pint of Bitter.

How is dear little Berwhale? Seeing as we're never in contact ever Wink

Ariesgirl · 14/11/2011 22:37

Excellent cross post wok there, sunny.

Ariesgirl · 14/11/2011 22:37

FFS WORK.

PerfectDromedary · 14/11/2011 22:40

Good lord. Standards have slipped since my day.

Ariesgirl · 14/11/2011 22:43

Cliques are shit. And TBH, I have never known anyone to fail the BESHtionannaire. Apart from that one poor woman who had two kids already and it was politely suggested she may be more at home somewhere else

PerfectDromedary · 14/11/2011 22:44

Berwhale is, y'know, alright . (Obviously he is the most magnificently skilled and intelligent and beautiful baby evah, but I don't like to talk about it in case I make the others jealous).

Now listen, I have been watching Downton on the Sky Plus and at the moment it all seems very overwrought and badly over-scored. Should I bother to carry on with it?

InTheSunshine · 14/11/2011 22:44

It's to establish likemindedness. And to ensure no baybee dust is chucked about. And to make sure people aren't offended by use of the word cunt.

PerfectDromedary · 14/11/2011 22:45

We were VERY cross the day the poor lady with other babies turned up, as well. We'd probably have let her stay at other times.

InTheSunshine · 14/11/2011 22:49

Downton. I sort of lost interest but then had to keep on watching.

Ariesgirl · 14/11/2011 22:49

And remember the poor woman who regaled us with the story of cutting open her fanjo on the stairgate as she attempted to control her "other DCs". We all pricked up our ears. "Other" DCs, we asked. How many? Two she said. And Scorps said, we didn't want to be unfriendly or anything but this was a thread for women in their 30s who were having trouble conceiving one baby or two at the most Grin.

Maybe we are a clique? Confused

InTheSunshine · 14/11/2011 22:54

Maybe we are too cliquey to join the Quiche clique? < aghast at revalation>

On that bombshell I'm going to bed. < cue drums a la end of Eastenders>

PerfectDromedary · 14/11/2011 22:58

I have been here at least three times when we've been accused of hunting in packs, too. Usually when that Pony one has been wandering around other threads.

Fucking hell, I always thought I was Winona Rider in Heathers, not one of the Heathers.

SunlightSoap Yes, that is exactly how I feel. But given I have limited TV time before TNB watches yet another repeat of QI/Top Gear on Dave, is it worth it?

Ariesgirl · 14/11/2011 23:02

Good old Pone

InTheSunshine · 14/11/2011 23:02

Honestly. No. You've not missed out on much. Maggie Smith is the best thing in it.

Ariesgirl · 14/11/2011 23:06

I have only ever seen one episode when they were all getting flu and collapsing like ninepins and one couple was dancing in the hall, while the chap's fiancee was on the stairs and the Irish chauffeur went off with the Young Lady of the House. Didn't really follow it.

AlpinePony · 15/11/2011 06:40

How rude drom! Why is nobody mentioning the fact that drom is here, probably swiping her iPad in the 'racehorse position' whilst TNB looks nervously on? Why are you loitering in besh? Something you want to tell us? Hmmn? Hmmn?

I don't think we're (the group in general) quichey, we've got a winner in her 20's and we've had one in her 40's.

InTheSunshine · 15/11/2011 07:08

I wasn't being rude. ESH sometimes just pop in. Now if Drom starts being a regular Palais inhabitant that's another story.

AlpinePony · 15/11/2011 07:44

Don't be daft - I know you weren't being rude. I was taking the piss out of drom - and suspect her of having an ulterior motive of lurking around here. She's probably sprinkling babydust through holes in her pockets like Andy - and hoping some of it rubs off on her.
