Hey guys!! Have taken the big step of coming of the Pill to TTC another DC. This will be DC number 2 - already have DS who is 15 months old and a DSD who is 7 years. We have spoken about another baby for a while now but it has now become more of a reality now that we have decided to stop using any contraception!! I am so so excited but know all too well about this horrible waiting game of patience which seems to get worse even after a BFP as then it's the painful wait for a 12 week scan!! (although this time I may pay for a private scan) I have had a MC before DS was born so am also aware of not getting to ahead of myself...but I'm so excited nonetheless!! I bought my friend a little present for her brand new (with tags on) baby girl and was so so broody. Cant wait for my turn now!!

Sorry for the long warbling post. This is such a hard time, the pre TTC, the waiting for BFP or BFN etc etc...I am the most impatient person in the world as it is...and to not to be able to tell anyone in RL makes it even harder!!

Hope there will be some ladies in the same boat as me!! Look forward to meeting u and sharing journeys!!

I would drink to being positive Vino, but I'm trying so hard to have a month off alcohol before Xmas. I'm drinking too much, plus I need to lose a few pounds, plus it helps ttc, surely?

What are everyone's plans for today?

I'm taking DD to the working farm for a coffee (me, not her - she can have milk) and then heading to some friends tonight for fireworks.

Bad luck on the 12 shift Vino - I remember those :( Spent 7 years doing that every Saturday

Still no AF or depending if the witch is actually just late or I'm pregnant!
Now 4 days late, I'm going to test again later today with a first response, shall let you know how I get on fingers crossed this limbo is horrible

Well I am amazed at my powers of guesswork prediction - AF is here bang on 28 days after my withdrawal bleed! Do I presume I'm back on regular cycles? I wouldn't be surprised as am usually pretty regular and was only on the pill 3 months last time...

The downside is I feel like utter poo. Lurching stomach, nausea, massive bloating and discomfort. AF, don't we just love her!!?

Well done Cauldron, can you predict if I'll survive another 3-4 days without testing?

Grandma still in hospital, her doctors are coming round this morning to tell her how they plan to proceed.

I'm off to a 9-hour shift at work but all I have to do today is shadow one of our head managers so I'm excited about that!

Only 1 more day til I can possibly get a positive on a First Response, I haven't peed on anything in over a week now so I'm anxious!

This baby making is causing a lot of giggles, making things less hard than they should be iykwim! We tried the big mug of coffee method this morning, I wonder if it actually helps?!

Any one going to bonfires and fireworks tonight? DP will no doubt suggest we go up on the moors to watch everyone else's! Tight Yorkshire boy!

Minky I always eem to get period type pains around ovulation never feel sick though.

Have had a lovely afternoon my friend came over with her brand new baby so have had lots of baby cuddles. Now she has gone though all I can think about is how much I really want one.

Tested this morning's first wee with a first response and....... I'M PREGNANT!!!
Although very faint there is a second pink line
Think obviously the obsessive POASer that I am I will test again in a couple of days just to get a darker line.
When I tested a few days ago there was a grey second line but this time it was defiantly pink

I'm 8 dpo and did a test this morning - BFN. I will probably end up testing every day until AF shows

My grandma isn't doing well, it's cancer that is causing the blockage, if it doesn't sort itself out on it's own in the next few days she will need surgery. However she needs more chemo and the doc said if she has to wait to start chemo until after she recovers from surgery it may be too late for it to be effective

So fingers crossed it sorts itself out and she is ok soon. Just makes me more certain of the "life is short" mantra and more sure that I want to be pregnant like yesterday!!

Had a horrid day at work yesterday, hopin today's better but doubt it! Have a good day my lovelies.

I came off Pop pill about three ish weeks ago, AF around the usual time and have had a smilie on my Opk, it states on distructions that smilie = ovulating so I'm guessing you can!

I've had (tmi coming up) excessive EWCM since Friday am (smilie friday pm) so DP has been on duty non stop!

How long does this excessive EWCM last?

Any info mucho appreciated!

DP has just demanded his first coffee. Hmmm sounds like I might get lucky again this morning he's taking it all very seriously! Bless him!
