No more Pill!! This is it!! Starting a JULY-AUG 2012 bus...

Hey guys!! Have taken the big step of coming of the Pill to TTC another DC. This will be DC number 2 - already have DS who is 15 months old and a DSD who is 7 years. We have spoken about another baby for a while now but it has now become more of a reality now that we have decided to stop using any contraception!! I am so so excited but know all too well about this horrible waiting game of patience which seems to get worse even after a BFP as then it's the painful wait for a 12 week scan!! (although this time I may pay for a private scan) I have had a MC before DS was born so am also aware of not getting to ahead of myself...but I'm so excited nonetheless!! I bought my friend a little present for her brand new (with tags on) baby girl and was so so broody. Cant wait for my turn now!!

Sorry for the long warbling post. This is such a hard time, the pre TTC, the waiting for BFP or BFN etc etc...I am the most impatient person in the world as it is...and to not to be able to tell anyone in RL makes it even harder!!

Hope there will be some ladies in the same boat as me!! Look forward to meeting u and sharing journeys!!

Any way.... I am having zero luck with this facebook business have posted 3 times and all have vanished from the face of the facebook!!!

Also I am feeling massively depressed as on cd59 and should have had 2 af's/huge BFP by now!!!! And not a single thing, not even a pink tinge... Sad

I've just found out my lovely grandma who is basically my mum and so I will now call her my mum from this point forth has had her cancer return Sad Sad Sad

She did chemo a couple of years ago and then had 9 months cancer-free, then did another round of chemo and this time it's come back after 7 months Sad

She is trying to be positive but I saw her lip quivering earlier when she told me, didn't really know what to say. I have no idea what we'll do now as she isn't supposed to have any more chemo since her body's so weak from the first 2. I can't imagine her ever not being here, she has been the only stable presence throughout my entire life, no exaggeration. So excitement of TTC tonite mixed with that now Sad

Oh no cauldron, will you wait until the broadband comes back on or call her and tell her? Don't think I'd be able to contain my excitement and would have to ring!

actually I had just decided to ring and then I noticed the time, so I'll wait til tomorrow. Looks like broadband problems might not be fixed by then too. She'll be Angry that I didn't tell her straight away!

Usual Friday night - in bed early waiting for DP to get rid of the last of the drunkards customers...

Feels like I know everyone, having spent the last god knows how long reading this thread!

Been avoiding pregnancy forever, and then, boom, OH says let's give it a go! Scary, TTC número uno.

Feel a bit of an oldie joining in but hey, got to start somewhere!

Is it unusual for OH to be more obsessed with OPKs than me? (confused)

OH dad has recently been ill and I think the TTC idea has stemmed from that a bit. If you catch my drift?

Hi Minky and welcome! My friend and her OH started ttc when her mother got cancer. I think things like that definitely provide a little extra push...

Hope your OH's dad is ok...

Do you want to cut and paste the Official List and add yourself?

Actually I've been enjoying the 2ww as an opportunity to bask in not having a uti Smile. We definitely took our foot off the gas around Wednesday. I do feel a little bit guilty about it as didn't opk this month so I can't be exact.

Now for next month, when do I start opk'ing?

Engagement gone on fb today so definitely official now!! Grin

Just done a first response test,AF due Tuesday and got the faintest second line ( you could see it if held it up to the light) so I'm keeping my fingers well and truly crossed that this is not my imagination!
Will do another first response test in the morning and see what happens. Really don't want to get too excited but trying to stay positive Smile
